Each friend who has received a birthday arrangement was in love/awe with their gift. --Timeless Bouquet-- (Perfect for someone is is classy, elegant, love neutrals, and beautiful things) In July 2022, Urban Flora texted me once the flowers were dropped off; I had the flowers dropped off outside as my friend was quarantining and was the point of main point of contact while keeping this a surprise. --Pink Sorbet Bouquet-- (Perfect for a lover of pink, someone with a vibrant personality, maybe someone into anime). In March 2025, Urban Flora will e-mail the purchaser that it has 'shipped' once it's about to be delivered and will e-mail the purchaser once delivered. It would also be my first choice for my man -- if only they delivered to his city which they do not -- might have to do a pick-up one of these days. I would not recommend Urban Flora for last minute custom for like a Condolence arrangement - I did reach out in 2023 but was not able to get a hold of them at the time. Otherwise whether you order the day prior (within a reasonable window frame - they can get the job done, orders prior to noon would be best for those situations -- and the more time you give in advance, the better the delivery experience and outcome. I placed and fully prepaid for a bouquet in advance. On the day of the order, I called several times and sent messages to confirm everything, but no one returned my calls or responded. At the end of the day, I was simply told, "Sorry, we are sold out." As a result, I wasted time, and more importantly, the person I wanted to surprise was left without flowers. Because of the lack of communication, I was left in uncertainty and couldn't implement an alternative plan in time. This level of communication and organization is unprofessional. It was rather tricky getting a hold of Van, but I was a persistent bride and have loved her work so I broke her no-DM rules to notify her that it didn't seem like my website requests were going through. A couple of things that I wish had been included in our pricing upfront: a centerpiece mockup and the centerpiece vases. I decided to splurge a little and get my girlfriend a bouquet for national girlfriends day from here. It was definitely pricy but the flowers were beautiful and my girlfriend loved it. I ordered a medium and it honestly came out larger than I expected. It was delivered exactly on time and they sent me a text when it was. In order to prevent the flowers from dying if they can't be put in a vase right away, all the stems are attached to a little water supply. Payment was made and I awaited for the bouquets to get delivered. The birthday set was delivered as directed and was beautifully arranged. The "Thank You/Mother's Day" did not go as smoothly. About a day and a half before this arrangement was to be sent out, it was brought to my attention that the address I provided was incorrect. Due to some home improvements, there wouldn't be anyone home to receive the delivery. I attempted to give BB a new address [located in the same area/zip code] and couldn't get any response. I went and emailed them directly on more than one occasion, I dm'd them on instagram, and I even gave the business a call & shot a few texts. Needless to say I was pretty bummed. Someone finally reached out to me and apologized adding it was extremely busy due to Mother's Day weekend. TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE. Whomever I spoke with verified the updated address and told me that the delivery would be made without any issues. Fast forward: on the day of the delivery I am given a call saying the delivery was made. I asked the gentleman to verify that it was sent to my second address provided and he had no clue about the changes. He said he would have to make a call to someone and would give me a call back. Again, the new address is within the same zip code so it really shouldn't have been a problem. Bouquet delivery was made but was delayed and sat longer in the heat than I would have wanted. 3.5 stars. My younger (and only) brother John highly recommended Blissful Blooms for all my future floral needs as he has used them in the past and I started following them on social media the last few months and have been looking for my next opportunity to test them! I'm pretty picky with my preference in floral arrangements and wasn't able to do it myself. What he delivered for me was absolutely stunning and the fresh floral scent from the blooms were great! It was fairly close but more beautiful than what I sent in of what I wanted. I order a few floral bundles a year for several different events and have typically been using local florist for deliveries as well as the large florist companies like 800 flowers or pro flowers for out of area deliveries. While you may compare prices like I did between shops, BB comes in slightly higher but you really get what you pay for if not more. Don't settle for the others and compare! BB is premium flowers and what you receive will not be comparable! My sister loved her gift so much! She said she didn't want any presents and that she would just be happy with a bouquet of flowers! My sister gave birth and was in a lot of pain, so I ordered same day, a medium bouquet in a vase, specifying that her favorite colors were purple and peach. I thought it would make her feel better. My partner and I (we've been together for 11 years) decided that we wanted to still get married despite what was going on and ended up pulling off an intimate, very safe, and social-distanced Filipiniana/earthy/tropical themed wedding. During the planning process of about two weeks to the big day, I was able to get in contact with Valerie. I was able to communicate my vision to her, it went so smoothly, and she was really awesome to work with. As I was letting Valerie know about the vision of my bouquet and decoy bouquet (the decoy bouquet was going to be gifted to whoever was going to catch my actual fake bouquet during the bouquet toss) she then went on to let me know that the owner and florist, Vanessa, was excited to work with me because the design was different from her other bouquets. That got me more excited to work and collaborate with Blissful Blooms because of the freshness and energy that I was feeling from the process. Also, funny story. My best friend and MOH's name is Vanessa and her sisters name is Valerie. I thought what a coincidence, this was meant to be to work with Blissful Blooms! Since these were going to be delivered, I opted for the vase option. I chose the Cherish vase which was $90 + Tax $8.32 + Delivery San Jose $15 = Total $113.32 I was also able to speak to Lily on the phone and she was super helpful.
