I attended a floral arrangement class taught by the owner, Carol, and I would do another class with her in a heartbeat! KNOWLEDGE: I learned so much in our time together. We discussed everything from how to shape your arrangement, flower care, tips to get the most from each flower, as well as tricks she uses to achieve gorgeous arrangements. Carol is a wealth of knowledge. She made everything approachable, accessible, and fun! VALUE: This was a great deal! Carol offers a wonderful array of flower options so that you can make an arrangement you'll love. She lent me all the tools I would need. She gave me a personalized small and sweet gift. She offered me a cold soda. And let's not forget, I went home with a gorgeous, bountiful arrangement that I made! VIBES: Carol is so kind! We had a lovely conversation. She answered my many questions and was incredibly encouraging along the way. Her floral shop is great for a small group of friends to enjoy a class together. At the end of the class, Carol mentioned the other classes and packages she offers, but I appreciated how low pressure she was about it. Hello, I hate to give bad reviews but Carole can be pretty scary and volatile to talk to. I know it was my fault for complaining about a past bouquet my husband bought me for valentines day (roses [that were not nice and fragrant] & daisies for $100+). We were quite disappointed and honestly I was going through ECT treatments nearby at kaiser in santa clara. He did not have time to complain or ask for it to be remade because he was rushing to pick me up from my treatment after dropping me off. He was too embarrassed to say anything or deal with it even though I pushed for us to get a new and better one. He just wrote it off as oh, this is the quality of bouquets for valentines day even though it's a flower shop. And since it's vday he didn't want to bother the shop since he said they seemed busy. He could have even put together a bouquet of roses and daisies and I definitely think I could have bought roses and daisies with a vase for way less than $100 from safeway or trader joe's. I wish I had a photo but we were so disappointed I looked thru my pics and saw that I didn't bother taking a pic despite his loving sentiment. It's been a running joke in our family that my husband paid $100 for a pretty basic and cheap looking, just overall not great arrangement. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I used to help out at an ex's aunt's flower shop. She threatened to sue me if I post a bad review but I want people to be aware before giving any constructive criticism or working with her. I know that I was in the wrong and I was being an unreasonable customer but I do not think I deserved her abusive call just now. She berated me with verbally and emotionally abusive language for my initial call saying that I threatened to give a bad review if she didn't give me a new bouquet??? My single mom's second deathiversary is on Monday (Died 6/9/23) and I just wanted to see if she could make things right by giving me a better bouquet than the one I received. Maybe I didn't realize what I said exactly but I definitely did not have any intent of blackmailing her for FLOWERS. I mean jeez I don't NEED flowers and definitely not all the way from Santa Clara since I live in Redwood City now. I just thought she could become my go-to florist if we were able to get a better result this time around. Also, I hate being a woman not supporting another woman, especially someone who is a small business order. I understand how one bad review can affect a business because my late mother did airbnbs before she died but this is just not okay. Threatening to call the police if I go anywhere near her shop, talking to an attorney about legal action against me??? All over one bouquet. Maybe I don't know what it's like to be a florist but I don't think this is something people would want to support or have happen to them...just FYI. I am shocked, appalled, and I have never had anyone in customer service speak to me like this in all the years I've been alive (which has been a while now lol...) I just feel so scared now that she's going to sue me for something I think is excessive and I honestly cannot afford a lawyer as I'm working as an unpaid mental health therapist trainee, in grad school, and overall in debt...taking a huge risk but I don't want anyone else to encounter this kind of treatment :/ maybe other people who had this happen were threatened and that's why she only has positive reviews? idk read more

My daughter started a new school this year, and as you can imagine, making friends can be tough when you're the new kid. She was invited to a birthday party this week, but unfortunately, we were going to be out of town. My daughter was really disappointed to miss the celebration, so I wanted to find a way for her to still be part of her friend's special day. Luckily, Carole was offering a kids' flower arrangement class that weekend, and we were able to reserve spots for my daughter and her school friend. Carole truly went above and beyond to make the event memorable. The birthday girl was completely surprised and delighted by how fun and unique the class was. Carole even provided decoration, desserts, and drinks for the girls, which added an extra special touch. The flower arrangements the girls created were gorgeous--so beautiful that they alone made the class worth it. But the best part? Both girls had an absolute blast, and my daughter is already asking to have her own party there!
