One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the Armed Forces Parade right outside the hotel -- as a proud retired U.S. Army Veteran, that made the experience especially meaningful. Those touches made the stay feel personal and welcoming. The large shower and comfy bed are the bomb! I also loved the skylight and the cool patio area -- both added so much charm and comfort to the experience. I only wish I had more time to check out the taproom. My one suggestion would be adding an additional interior lock. As a single woman traveler, the extra security would provide additional peace of mind, especially with the combination lock setup. It's wonderful to see the care and vision that went into restoring this historic building. The future elevator addition will be a fantastic improvement as well.
