A nice place to stop for beers and food. Their brews are well made and very balanced. The food is fresh and tastes good + makes you feel good. It's a cozy setting with very friendly staff

My friend and I visited this brewery while we vacationed in the local area. I grabbed a beer (Orange APA) and sat down to listen to a local musician. This was a much smaller brewery than I'm used to, but we had a nice time. The bartender was friendly when I asked him for some recommendations/samples.

What a place. Old cowboys and hippies sitting around drinking good craft beer and arguing about who grows the best local weed. Not to mention their organic food menu. I had the curry made with local lamb.

Great little brewery. Fun atmosphere and vibe. We were on our way to the Springs and took a short detour. Highly recommend.

A great new gem to Walsenburg!! Friendly staff and fun environment. They brew their own beer but also have wine and cocktail options.

The restaurant wasn't fooling around when it comes to garlic. You could smell the enticing aroma of it as soon as you walk through the door. The ambience was quaint. It is connected to a hotel which I'd check out if I were traveling through here again. We arrived at the restaurant around 530pm. The happy hour menu had both drinks and some dinner items on it. My companion ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs from the happy hour menu. We were told the portion is the same as from the regular menu. It was $14. ($18 on regular menu.) It was a generous portion with three large meatballs. I opted for the Picatta Pasta at $12 and added four shrimp for an extra $6. They gave me five so I'm not sure if the chef made a mistake or was just feeling generous. I'll say the latter! The dish had tomatoes, capers, lemon, and white wine. The only thing I'd add to my taste would be pine nuts! We both totally enjoyed our meals including the bread! I forced myself to leave a little for lunch the next day and it was even better then! Comments I heard from around the dinner were equally enthusiastic about their meals, especially those who ordered the mussels. We're in town for a week and I don't usually go back to the same restaurant twice when I'm visiting a new location but my companion and I are definitely going back again before we leave. It was a Fri and a bit of busy night when we were there but our server Jillian did a great job and was super nice.

Switched to happy hour Montepulciano wine. Much better choice. The wife had the muscles, lots with good garlic bread. Also the Caesar salad with anchovies. She loved both. I had the chicken marsala. A little different from what I have had before but good. Would like to try a tomato dish but they are closed the next couple of days. Sorry no photos. PS. The Tiramisu was 5 stars!!! Very good.

Elk sausage, mushrooms, green chile, ooey gooey cheese, and oh my, my tastebuds came alive! The crust had just the right amount of crisp on the bottom, while the sauce had a delicious complimentary exchange with the ingredients. I ate way more than what I'd normally eat for lunch! Then to top that off, I was offered hot honey to finish off the crust that was absolutely fantabulous on it's own. This was the perfect way to complete an amazing pie! It was so good, that we ate the leftovers for dinner, and we were just as pleased, minus the great company that the restaurant offers with their local vibe and interest in your experience. Super cool folks! I also, out of curiosity, ordered a single slice with my go-to favorite... hamburger, pineapple, jalapeno, and extra cheese. It was tantalizing! On a hot Spring day, you can't go wrong with a cool drink and an amazing pie at the new Las Animas Pizza!

Each came with a generous serving of crispy rosemary fries, but you can upgrade to truffle or chili fries for an extra treat. Service was prompt, cheerful, and attentive without being overbearing. A great spot for a casual bite with quality food and small-town charm.

And while there were several really great looking restaurants in the area, it was even too much effort to order delivery. So we pulled up the menu for Gagliardi's and ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken Fried Elk, and Chicken Piccata. All three items were amazing. No regrets, no notes, other than I feel like the packaging could be a little different. Something that retains heat a bit better or some kind of package that doesn't feel like our fried items will melt the package would be better. But obviously as you can see, that didn't affect my rating at all because everything was so yummy. Yes, the meal was pricey, but I feel like it was worth it.

Came out without onion or pickles and completely dry. No Mayo, mustard, ketchup, aioli, thousand island, nothing. Just dry. Burger was overcooked to beyond recognition and had zero flavor. Really it was the only thing to taste since nothing else was available, and surprisingly there was zero flavor. Just dry and a reminder that a trip to Burger King would have been 100x better and I hate BK. In fairness, I will say they generally do a better job. But tonight I left disappointed and mad at such a crappy meal. Service was pretty good overall but the waitress made no effort to discount the meal, offer another item that the check was prepared to make, like a PB&J sandwich, etc. I ate it so I would have paid regardless, but at least make an effort in a difficult situation. Overall I blame the management for not stocking the kitchen or training the staff how to handle their failures.
