Gagnon's was a great place to rent from for our backyard Rehearsal Dinner in Alamo. It was so easy to place and adjust our order online/over email. We had all of our furniture & dishes delivered on time and the delivery drivers were so considerate and helpful! After setting up, we did have one table with some damage. I made the mistake of starting a large order with another company, Pleasanton Rentals, (one star). They unexpectedly cancelled my order and Gagnons saved the day! Brenda got on the phone with me and we went through the order, figured out alternates, and promptly got my huge order in. It was quick abs painless unlike my experience with Pleasanton party. One of the reasons i was using the other company was my need for an ice cream cart that only they carried. Gagnons offered to buy a cart for us that can also be used to rent out to other guests. I needed to be called before the delivery within a specific window of time and I needed to be called before they were picked up and preferably in the early morning. The table and chairs were exactly what I needed for the small party I was having. Initially, Gagnon's was great in getting back to me with an estimate. The reason I'm giving only three stars is for their communication. I will preface this with the fact that I live in an apartment and needed to be present for the delivery and pick-up. I was told I would get a call the night before with a time for delivery. No call. I called the next day and was told the delivery would be no later than 11:00 AM. Delivery arrived at 2:30 PM. I then specifically asked the delivery person how we could coordinate a pick up time, he said he didn't have a time but would note my phone number and he would make sure that I would be contacted prior to pick-up. No call and the people picking up were not aware that they were supposed to call me. There seems to be a breakdown in communication/organization. Heads up to those who need to coordinate drop-off and pick-up, plan to be available the entire day for both. read more

These guys are amazing. I was hosting a Seder and needed an extra long table and a few chairs. Their webpage is super user friendly with pictures of exactly what you'd be ordering plus prices for each item. The cost is very reasonable. Once you're done shopping you can 'check out' your order like in Amazon. Then you'll get an invoice printed which you then pay over the phone. That part can be a little tricky to coordinate but it was seamless. I also paid $30 extra for delivery and pick up. That made things extra convenient.
