We rented the Princess bounce house and slide for a 3-year-old birthday party, and it was a HUGE hit with the kids. The party was at a local park in Alameda, and Jump Jump & Away was one of the park's preferred vendors since they have insurance paperwork on file. After checking their website, and Yelp of course, we felt comfortable renting from them. The entire process was seamless. The instructions were very clear. For parks, you must also rent a generator. There was also a travel fee of $80 to Alameda (but this may differ based on location). They texted me the day before to confirm their arrival time. You must be there when they arrive so you can sign the contract. They arrived right on time, and the entire setup took about 15 minutes. You must also wait for them to arrive for pick up since you don't want to leave the bounce house unattended. They were prompt with pick up as well. The bounce house was the hit of the party. We got the 13x13 and it was plenty big for at least 8-10 kids in there. It was sturdy and in good condition. Rules are no shoes or food in the bounce house. No more than 10 min after signing a waiver and paying, they began to deflate the jumpers, stating that it was too windy. The issue is that yall knew it was windy 10 min ago when the mom in front of me paid you $60 for her children to jump all day. You knew it was windy when I paid you $30 for all day jump. Wow, I am so impressed by this company! I rented the 16 ft water slide for my bachlorette party. They delivered it hours early and set it up fully, so technically, I could have used it the entire time (the party didn't start for like 4 hours) The set up and take down crews were so pleasant, nice and respectful to myself, my home and my guests. I have never seen an issue. The owner employs younger adults at what I expect is their first job, and I think that training them and teaching them professionalism is so commendable, especially in this age where it is so hard to get a job without experience. The employees are always kind and very flexible with the needs of everyone involved. If folks ask for a new pickup time, or have questions about what they need to order, Salina is always available to make sure the renter has all the things they need. If for whatever reason the renter didn't rent the right items, she does everything she can to ensure they still can have the rental -- sometimes that means moving the jumper a few feet, sometimes it's returning with a needed item they forgot to rent. At the farmer's market, the employees also have to manage all the children to ensure they don't climb on the jumper's structural elements, and they all seem to have a good report with both the children and their parents. To the person below who mentioned disheveled appearances - these young adults spend all weekend setting up and dismantling hundred pound jumpers in homes and parks with dirt and wind.
