I sent my daughter here for camp as a 5 year old. She had her lunch packed in her backpack. The counselor didn't bother to look inside to check to see if she had one. My daughter went for a full day of camp on an extremely hot day, much of which was spent outdoors, without any food. Absolutely disgraceful. Even if the counselor didn't see the lunchbox, the right thing to do would have been to call me to ask if I had packed one, and if I had forgotten, to ask me to drop one off. When I brought it up to the company, they apologized and offered my daughter lollipops as a consolation and a discount to return for future. Are you kidding me??? I elected to never send my daughter back there again for her safety and never got a refund for the remaining weeks. I would think twice before sending my child here. Clearly the counselors have no common sense and it is not a safe environment for a young child who cannot yet advocate for herself. read more

History

Established in 2005.

Our umbrella brand, Gain Contact started out in 2005 as a lifestyles and learning company providing personal and professional development workshops, career coaching, and college placement services through an online network of educational and life coaches. These were offered under our Gain Self and Gain Learning company brands. In 2008, we established a South Bergen presence by opening up our first learning center in Rutherford, NJ and added language programs for children under our Gain Ville brand and adults/organizations under our Gain Bridges brand. In 2019, we moved into Ridgewood, NJ and provided language programs in our own space at the Upper Ridgewood Community church. In 2022, we established a North Bergen presence by opening up a second location in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ where we serve the Northern Bergen County and Lower Hudson Valley region. We currently provide year-round language programs to children through adults in Ho-Ho-Kus and children's programming at Ridgewood schools.

Rather than telling me I need a new heater or new parts, he was able to clean/refurbish the appropriate parts in a matter of minutes. The heater worked like new afterwards. In addition, I noticed a water leak from one of the PVC joints. He took that apart, lubricated it, put it back together and tightened it so there was no more leak. He is a superb technician.
