I had my Mule serviced. They even came to my house and picked it up, did everything I asked ansdthen delivered it back to my house. I did have to pay a fee but that is commn and I was OK with that. What was interesting is that I had planned to do the service myself - battery replacement, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, and an oil/filter change. After determining what it would take I stopped by and talked to them about it. It is rude to bring your own parts and fluids (thinking bringing your own ingredients to a restaurant and asking them to create a meal for you), but I explained that I had no use for the items I purchased. They were very accepting of the situation and used my parts. Everything came back perfect - no leaks or issues. I also enjoyed dealing with them. read more

Good honest people. My wife negotiated and bought a Ninja 650 for the right price we all thought had ABS brakes because Kawasaki uses the tone rings also on non ABS bikes. After 530 miles we discovered it did not have ABS. A quick call to the dealer and they said bring it back we'll get the bike you wanted and make it right. Today they did just that. From sales through finance everyone was apologetic and made sure she was happy and that they delivered on their promise. read more

This was a five-star experience for me! Context: I had booked for three days in the north Georgia mountains assuming I could use up the rest of the tread on my tires and then replace them after I got home. I forgot how the twisty mountain roads will eat up your tires. After my first day of riding, my rear Tire was completely shot. See photo for the evidence! Neither the motorcycle repair shop in Blairsville, Georgia or in Blue Ridge, Georgia had a tire that would fit my motorcycle. When I called Gainesville motorsports, Kerry answered the phone in the service department and he was awesome! He assured me that they had about eight different tires in stock that would fit my motorcycle and several of those were very high performance tires, which I prefer. I rode 40 miles, biting my nails and hoping that my rear tire would not blow out. It held out and got me safely to Gainesville Motorsports. Kerry met me personally, took the time to go through several tire options with me, and assured me that the service department could get it done in about 90 minutes. Wowser! I decided to buy both front and rear tires and the team had them done in 90 minutes! Everyone was super nice and helpful. They had good Wi-Fi in the shop so I could get some work done. And although I brought a box of Jo from Dunkin' Donuts, they had a nice little waiting room with coffee set up and magazines to read. And of course lots of lovely motorcycles to ogle and wish to buy. The Gainesville Motorsports team totally saved my vacation! Terrible customer service in the service department. I had a front tire installed on my motorcycle at their location and have had a slow leak ever since they put it on. Called the service department to schedule appointment and spoke to Anthony and was told to come have it fixed on Saturday at 9. (which come to find out he should not have been answering the phone for service as he is a sell's rep which was stated by the extremely rude toothless butterball service technician name has to be Billy Bob by the way he was acting, that just standing around in the back. I arrived at 9am on Saturday and was talking to the tech at the service desk when Billy Bob pop out from behind the wall told me that Anthony had no right to schedule anything and sorry you can leave the bike with us and we will look at it in the next couple weeks as we only have 2 techs and we are so slammed. If he wasn't just standing around listening to other people's conversation and being rude to customers they might be able to get the services done. Better yet if he would have cleaned and installed the tire correctly the first time, then I wouldn't have to be there a second time for something I already paid them to fix. Billy Bob made a comment that you waited 5 months before you brought the bike back to get it fixed and I stated yes I have been in and out of town that's why I called before I came and made the appointment. Billy Bob was trying to bow his chest up like he wanted to fight. I know it was 5 months ago I wasn't looking to have the service done for free I would have paid if they asked me to but since it was already paid for I would assume they would correct the issue. The owners of this location should really spend some time looking into how their service technicians treat customers and if they are service techs they should be doing service and not up crying about how they have no help. read more

The interactions I' ve had with the sales manager, Anthony, were consistently very positive. However, I don't have anything positive to say about anyone else at this business, especially in the service department. A new jetski I purchased at Gainesville Motorsports in March of this year failed after 10 hours of use while out on Lake Lanier. I called and spoke with Jeff in service who said he never heard of an OTAS Failure - Check Engine issue. Ok, everyone can't know everything, but I when I brought the ski in a few days later for repair, I walked into the service entrance and heard an employee laughing about a customer who'd just called for service on a 4 wheeler. The employee's name was Jeff, what a coincidence. Another employee took my information and then said they'd try to look at my Spark as soon as possible but it would likely be at least 2-3 weeks before they could start on it. I said that was unacceptable, whereupon Jeff interceded and stated perhaps this isn't the place for me, and why should I expect them to put me ahead of every other customer. My response was maybe they should hire some good technicians that know their products, but what do I know? Took it to another service department and my ski was repaired under factory warranty in four days. Not going back to these morons. Sorry Anthony, you are as good as it gets, but the service department there doesn't cut it. read more

Alright, this is probably the first negative review I've ever written for a business which means this bothers me very much of the hassle and dishonest business method of Gainesville Motorsports. I'm not the type of person to haggle and bargin for prices. At the very beginning, I've asked for an OTD price and expect it to be the price I pay not slap on accessories and say it is part of the purchase. Let's start from the beginning. Brandon was the sales person I dealt with and he gave me the OTD price of $7639.62 for the 2019 Honda CBR500R with the Costco 15% discount. I waited a week to check the prices from the California motorsport shops and the cost of shipping the bike here to Georgia which comes out to be almost the same cost of $7782 so I went ahead and told Brandon to place the order. I was super excited and then comes paperwork.... Mr. Ted Cobbs was the financial manager that did the paperwork and somehow got me to sign up for the premium extended warranty. I went home and needless to say it didn't go over very well when I had to explain myself of the extra cost. I don't plan taking my bike on the back roads and this is my recreational vehicle so the GAP coverage pretty much useless for me. I've called Ted back and told him to remove this premium extended warranty which I don't think I will need. I went back into the shop during my lunch break and re-sign the paperwork, this is where I would kick myself in the ass because I did not check the adjusted price to see if it was the OTD price that was quoted to me. I was in a rush that day to get back to work trusting everything will be adjust back to the OTD price that was quoted but when I review the new paperwork that night and saw the price on the invoice was $8839.62, needless to say that I was not a happy camper so I called Ted back and he said he will look into it. A couple days past and he left a message on my voicemail and told me that I have the 5 year Tire and Wheel warranty and GAP coverage. Seriously? I thought I had that removed but he said this is an accessory that came with the package. I asked a very simple question: "The OTD price was $7782, the final price I was billed is $8839.62. Do OTD price not mean the final price for Gainesville Motorsports" I then have to listen to more of these explanation on how the price dropped when they removed my extended warranty and how the Tire/Wheel warranty & GAP coverage is a must have. Yea. Writing this review is getting me pretty fired up again, but I'll just take a couple deep breath and finish writing this review to warn others on the how Gainesville Motorsports does business. Sure wish I had just ordered the bike from California and have it shipped here for the extra $200 without all the hassle and grief of dealing with shady people. Service department is extremely greedy. I wanted to have tubliss installed on my front and rear tires while I was out of town. I had already purchased the tires and tubes. They quoted me a minimum of $240 per tire! I called another shop and was quoted $90 per. Don't use their service unless it's a last resort. If it takes 2+ hours per tire you need better techs and if it doesn't your just lying to customers. read more

Never give reviews when you're truly disappointed but I'm hoping they'll see this and look to correct some simple things as well as some really big things that were overlooked. A multi franchise dealer with a clean store, easy access location and friendly staff. Initial contact was positive (visited personally) and scheduled a major service. Name, number and date & time we're arranged though I didn't receive any contact prior to scheduled date. Arrived as scheduled (70+ mile ride one way) and though the service writer had my name, he said he didn't know anything about my scheduled service. Apparently a 14hr service costing close to 2K dollars. I left the bike with an agreement to pick her up the following day upon their call. 2pm next day and no call. We call and they say she's buttoning up, come get her. We get a call along the way and are informed they close at 4. It's 3:30pm. We made it on time but we're unaware they closed at 4pm on Saturdays. My bad for not looking at that. I'm told the bike didn't need some of the more time consuming work but the price was only down about 100.00. Invoice showed virtually no detail and my bike which I gave them sparkling clean was returned covered in finger prints and grease/oil. Valve clearance were said to be checked and found to spec. Only two hours allotted to adjust 16 valves with shim under bucket requiring cam removal? I was told she'd need a new valve cover gasket but none was billed. Unclear. Steering head bearing repacked? No sign of work in that area. I don't know anyone there and they seemed like nice folks. However, once I'd paid, the service writer was eager to leave, answered a couple of questions never looking me in the eye or showing the courtesy I'd received the week prior when scheduling. Bike runs fine but I don't feel good about the experience. A lot of money with 12 charged labor hours and no way to know specifically what was done. The two stars are for the cleanliness of the store and it's location but the service work, experience and the service writer would be looking for work if he'd worked for me. I live about 2 hours away and this is one of the closest bike dealerships to me, so I called ahead and spoke to two different individuals who both told me that I could come in and they would run my info and send it to the lenders to see what kind of down payment I would need to get a mini-moto. One of these individuals was William L. Rush III, and I'm honestly unsurprised that there are other negative reviews that include his name, he was incredibly unprofessional and apparently lied through his teeth on the phone, as I was told I'd need a cosigner for sure once he saw I was younger and refused to run any of my info and said my lines of credit would be no good (even though over the phone they were). I'm not sure how multiple months of car payments (on a car worth 20x as much as the bike I was looking at) and more than a year's of credit card payments on a high limit card aren't enough, but I'm glad I was turned away, seems like I dodged a bullet. Overall, I don't recommend going here over somewhere in Cleveland or Toccoa if you're located farther away and ESPECIALLY not if you're in your 20s, it's definitely more of a boomer oriented atmosphere where you'll be quickly dismissed by some employee who lacks effective communication skills and critical thinking. The parking lot is also overcrowded with their stock and kind of hard to get in and out of, so also beware of that. read more

Wish there was a 0 star honestly. We dropped 2 four wheelers off the first of February. We were told it would be a few weeks as they were really busy. Okay cool - No issues with that we understood. A few weeks go by, and then months and NO COMMUNICATION from Gainesville Motorsports. They did not update us on the status of our four wheelers. We have had to call them every other week for an update. They continue to tell us "Oh we are looking into it still. Not sure what's wrong them. Could be this or could be that. Unsure" blah blah blah! We get a call 2 weeks ago saying they were ready for pick up. We get there on a Friday and 1 of the four wheelers doesn't start/doesn't run. They said they would put in on the charger and deliver it to us that following Tuesday. It's now 2 weeks later and we still do NOT have our four wheeler and haven't heard from them. We paid in full for both $1,700+ and we only have 1 of the 2 back. No credit/discount was given. We were asked to pay in full yet we STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR FOUR-WHEELER . 4 months for service is obscured. Have your people call my people and let's get this shit taken care of. This place is sloppy, unprofessional and doesn't understand the concept of professionalism! Save your time and money and go elsewhere where you get what you pay for. Y'all suck! read more

I just returned from Gainesville Motorsports and could not be more pleased with the speed of service and friendliness of the employees. I needed to have them install a new front tire on my Suzuki Boulevard. Better to get it done now before the spring rush so I gave them a call and asked if I could wait on it. So I did. The prices for many common services including tire changes are posted on a board in the service department. I paid 64 dollars and change to have the new tire and tube installed. It wasn't the cheapest but I've found out the hard way that usually you get what you pay for when it's time to service a bike. They took my bike in right away and had me out the door in less than 45 minutes. Ann, one of the sales associates was super friendly and very knowledgeable about motorcycles as she owns five of them herself. I wouldn't hesitate to give her my business. I've traded there for years and will continue to do so. I've never had a negative experience at this establishment. read more

Watch-Out!!! These people are the epitomy of used car salesmen. I took my new Sea-Doo Jet Ski in for an electrical problem. They said it would cost over $1,000+ to repair even though it was under warranty. I took it to another dealer the same day and it was repaired for free under warranty. Another time they quoted me $40 for an oil change on my Sea-Doo. When I went to pick it up the price was now $85. They acknowledged the original quotation but refused to honor it. They also charge 2x (twice) retail on replacement batteries compared to Batteries Plus+ up the street. This is the worst business I have come across in Hall County; dishonest, extremely overpriced, not knowledgeable, etc. ---- BEWARE read more

This is the most incompetent dealership I have ever encountered. Last month I bought a motorcycle from them that was on consignment but listed on Ebay by the owner. After the owner and I made a deal, the dealership tagged on "documentation fees" which the seller split with me. So after waiting 2 weeks for keys and paper work, the bike was delivered today (by truck) but with no keys or manual or registration. The General Manager sat on the this for 2 weeks and then sent them out yesterday by 2 day FedEx so they may arrive tomorrow but I now have a bike sitting in a parking lot where the trucker dropped and can neither start it nor lock it securely. I am seeking reimbursement from a local towing service to haul the bike to a safe place until I can start it up but I am not happy. Bottom line: These guys know nothing about doing business and should be avoided at all costs. read more

I wouldn't recommend coming here. They over charge on pretty much everything and the selection on parts is limited on non-existent. Called for parts on my motorcycle and the gentleman I talked to was reluctant to even look in his inventory, and when he came back on the phone he treated me like I was a stupid child telling me the throttle assembly I wanted was a special order part and would cost a fortune to order and install... (It's online for $35 and would take 30 min to install) I just didn't want to wait for a delivery. Bottom line if you want smoke blown up your butt and to be overcharged come here. I brought my '01 Concours C-10 here because I needed a new front tire while I was out on a weeklong trip to Georgia. Local members of the Concours Owners Group I was meeting with suggested coming to this place because it was one of the closer stores and had tires I could use in stock. While I was there, I had a look around the show room which was nice and laid out with a variety of adventure, sport, and cruiser bikes. There is also a lot of ATVs and personal watercraft on display. They also have a wide selection of helmets and accessories for the multiple sports the support. Well my bike was in for service, the sales associate showed me that the rear tire was more worn than I thought. So I had that changed at the same time along with the rear brake pad that had worn a lot more on the twisty roads down there than I thought. Tyler originally took my call, and Jason handled my transaction well in the shop, and everyone did a professional job handling my need while I was 800 miles away from home. read more

I generally don't write reviews, however, I would like the public to know where not to take there bike for repairs. I bought my bike from this shop last summer and turned it into the shop for general maintenance in mid March. I was told that since the bike was under warranty that it would take between 1-2 weeks to get worked on. I called the shop late March and asked if they had started on my bike in which they replied that it was issued out to a service tec that week and would be ready by next week (Week 3). I called again about a week later to check on the status in which they replied that the tec was on vacation and it would be another week before he could look at it (Week 4). I called again about a week later in which they replied the shop is backed up and it would take another half week to a week to get fixed and there was only three bikes in front of mine. This went on for another 4 weeks before I decided to take my bike to another shop. 8 weeks of ride time wasted, very disappointed. IF YOU NEED ANY WORK DONE ON YOUR BIKE I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT TAKING IT HERE, UNLESS YOU DON'T NEED YOUR BIKE FOR A WHILE. I guess the mechanics in the back work on one bike a week. read more
