Originally, the vehicle was brought to another repair shop that was State Farm's preferred place. That shop not only didn't repair the damage, they made shotty repairs that made the vehicle look like an amateur did the work. They oversprayed the bumper sensors, painted over the gas cap seal, didn't replace fender pieces, damaged window panels, got overspray all over the rear of the vehicle. Then tried to convince us that the repairs were up to, "industry standards".... This is where Forsyth Collision became our hero. We went in and explained the situation to Steve. He did a quick look over and besides the issues we saw, he started pointing out things that we didn't even notice. Then the owner Salih came out and they both were noticing issues with the paint. They worked with State Farm to authorize the repairs of the "repair" from the first shop. Since the model was so new there were issues getting parts quickly, but Steve and Joseph made sure they kept us in the loop the entire time. When they notified us that the vehicle was ready, my wife and I were anxious to see the results. Well, we were blown away! It looked like a brand new SUV again! The difference in appearance was amazing. Every detail they said they were going to go over was handled and it was done to perfection. The entire process would take hours to write, but let's just say after 3 months of dealing with the other place messing things up and then getting the car back looking better than new, I feel confident recommending Forsyth Collision to anyone needing work done to their vehicle! October 24th you picked my car up with me explaining the circumstances as well as one could do. I explained everything as detailed as I could. Not once did you mention that you had customers lined up and it would be over 2 weeks out. I showed you the engine when you picked up payment and also explained I am waiting on a transmission and I would need it back quickly. I was quoted a week. I left you alone and let you work. I followed back up based off what you said, and you explained you need it longer and you had others in front of me as well as working another job. This was explained after you had my car at your location I have a shop that can back me up on this and explain that this car was not heavily rusted at all. The only thing that we needed to paint was the engine bay nothing more. I tried to stay in contact with you along the way because I explained I needed to get this engine installed so that if there is a problem, it's under warranty and it does not expire. This job lasted 2 weeks and the towing was supposed to be included. You never told me that you did not have a trailer to haul vehicles. I did not find this out until the day of when you said it was supposed to be complete that you could not get a trailer. Then, you rushed with my car, don't worry I'll post the pictures of the engine bay and the communication that we had via text. The way that you treated me was unfair and completely unprofessional and I am so embarrassed that I gave you any work. I hope this gives warning to anyone that reads this. I drove up to talk to them on Wed. The lady and gentleman there were super friendly. They were able to help me with getting my insurance install location switched. Come to find out they are a preferred provider. Lifetime warranty on install. They assigned Albert as my installer. 2 days later I get the call he was on the way. Super nice guy, installed my windshield, and even changed my peach pass over. I thought that I would have to get a new peach pass. Highly recommend them. 5 Star
