Ran in to get my nails done before a meeting on Tuesday. Gel nails and a pedicure. While the pedicure went well, my nails have never looked so awful and they started chipping the very next day. Too much gel was used and not properly thinned out/filed down so it looks clumpy and 'fat' (IYKYK). She didn't do the under nail filing properly so that night I noticed a glob of gel under a couple of them. But for being in a hurry I'd have requested it be redone by someone else. As it is, they won't touch my hands again and I recommend you all stay clear. read more

I needed a pedicure at the last minute and my regular shop was out of my way so I decided to stop here on my way home to get ready for my event, how bad could a pedicure be? I was seated quickly, and they started soaking my feet, but the lady who worked on me was so extremely rude because I did not want to get my eyebrows done. I just got a fill-in with gel polish done at this salon today. I asked the tech how long it would be because I had something do and he said it would be 30 minutes. I ended up being there for an hour and 15 minutes just for a fill-in. After he was done and I saw my nails, I didn't like them...they were thick, lumpy and uneven. I paid and left, but ended up going right back because my nails really looked bad and I wanted them fixed. The technician agreed to fix them and they did look better, but still not great...and on top of that, the tech damaged my real nails with the drill when he was trying to fix them. As if that wasn't enough, I just got my nails done today and the gel polish is already chipping. To be fair, I also got a pedicure when I was there and that service was with a different technician and it was fine. I tried to call to let them know, but they were already closed. I will be calling back tomorrow, but all I really wanted was to get a professional nail service and go about my business. The fact that this took so much of my time today, and will also take up some of my time tomorrow, is unacceptable. First time visiting. Came in as a walk in, T he said his name was, attended to me. He was very gentle. I only got a fill in, reshape, and trim. Took an hour but he made sure that everything was to my liking which I appreciate. It was only $33 got everything which is the cheapest I've ever paid for my nails, they better last.... I would have given 5 stars but when he asked me did I want my eyebrows done and I declined he told me I need them done. I informed him I was good and I have never had them waxed and never plan on having them waxed as I do them myself and fill them in. They just weren't done today. After I told him that he left the eyebrow situation alone. I'll wait to see if my nails last 2 weeks seeing how cheap they were. UPDATE: So the day after I got them done one of the nails began to chip. I called and they removed the polish and repainted/set it. Two day's after that one my other thumb and index finger polish are both chipping. I don't want to keep going back for them to repolish, even the nail they repainted is chipping again. I've been to this place before and lucked out with a decent technician. I wanted to pamper myself and got the most expensive package they offer. I had a decent experience. I would say three out of five but I did feel that the pedicure was average and not worth "spa pricing". This time was different. I experienced rude and rough service. When I saw how rude the treatment was from just walking in and being told not to look at the colors, where I couldn't sit etc..I realized that kind of attitude would never lead to a relaxing experience. Even though I walked in with the intention of getting and more expensive package I chose the simple pedicure for just that reason. When I was barely given 20 seconds of a foot exfoliation I asked for more time. The tech spent 5 minutes lecturing (even though she couldn't give me one minute on my foot) me about what I get for that price of the basic pedicure. She proceeded to detail how many things she has to do within a short amount of time so she could quickly finish. Basically, I would only get a decent pedicure from them if I paid for the pricier packages which frankly were NOT worth the money. I timed 20 seconds on each foot of exfoliation and ZERO time on a foot massage. By the time I left the pedicure was already chipping. Ok I'm so pissed I'm sitting in the chair to write this review. First of all I walked in and asked for a pedicure. That's it. She told me to wash my hand and have a seat. I waited over 40 minutes for this lady to come do my pedicure. If it was gonna be this long of a wait you should definitely tell somebody! It was so many times I was about to walk out but I literally have no time I stopped past here for a quick pedicure and expected to be out the door no longer than 45 minutes really. Here we are. A hour later and she's just starting my feet. She just got a call about her scheduling I'm assuming and she left again to go to the front and help the customer over the phone. In my opinion she could have told whoever it was to give her a call back after she finish after she ALREADY had me waiting a hour. I said all this to say this. I visited here for the first time and I didn't have a good experience. When I walked in I was not immediately greeted. I sat down for about 2 minutes before someone asked if they can help me. The guy asked without even making eye contact. That was pretty rude. I said what I wanted a full set and he didn't say okay or pick out a color or anything. Today was my first time coming to this establishment. I came in because they practiced social distancing. I come in and Lauren proceeded to work on my pedicure. She started on my gel pedicure and everything seemed to be okay at first. Every time she put a coat of gel on my toes she placed a lil black uv light machine over my foot to dry the polish. As I was on a phone call I found myself constantly grabbing the machine so it didn't fall on my foot or on the floor. After Lauren was done putting the top clear coat on my white gel polish I noticed she did not put the paint close enough to my toe nails. If you look closely you can se how far the white polish is from my cuticle. Every time I asked her to fix an issue she would get upset and speak to her co workers in her language. I asked was everything okay and she ignored me and walked away. At this time Lauren's co worker came over and asked me if she could help fix the problem. It was then Lauren started to go over all her mistakes to fix any issues I had with my gel pedicure. Lauren made it seem as if I was a nuisance because I wanted my toes painted properly. Ok lee on for pedicures is a 5 I love the way he does my feet. The 1 star is for my nails which is more important to me! I sat in chair 5 I think! Or 4 one of them a lady did nails they were ok!! She didn't really paint them nicely or file my nails how I liked them then 2 days later the polish starting puffing up on 4 fingers to the point I could peel it of!! I went back chair one re painted them then a week later the top layer or the polish just started pealing off. I thought to give this place a try under recommencation. I brought my coworker with me and I got a gel set and she got gel set and pedi. Her pedicure was done by an older man and looked great! When it came time to do my nails I had them done by a man named Leo. I had to ask him to clean my cuticles and he had trouble shaping my nails. They ended up looking awful but I kept going thinking the end result mightve been better but I was wrong. He did discount $5 but was clearly upset with ME. My coworker liked her nails but a few days after we got them done one of her came off. She went back and got it fixed for a charge. Happened again...same deal shes lost two more since then. New ownership worse than old! I went in yesterday to get a fill-in and pedi. I noticed all these new people. The woman who did my pedi was just okay. After applying oil on legs and feet, she did not wipe off my toenails with alcohol to remove any oily residue. I had to instruct her to do so, which she did reluctantly. Then, she attempted to polish my nails without base coat. I had to re-direct her to apply base coat. *sigh* Moved on to fill-in. Same lady. I told her to trim my nails when shaping. She said that will be $3.00. I had never been charged for trimming before. I told her I wanted to continue my coffin-shaped nails . . . $5.00. Are you freaking kidding me? She did not smooth underneath nail, as is customary. I had to re-direct yet again. She did an awful job, so much so the guy who was sitting where Hahn (?) used to sit swooped in to clean up the lady's mess. Bad customer service, consistently open late in the morning and quality is not guaranteed. I only go here because of the prices! Multiple times they have been late to open and will still take people with appointments over those who were there first. I was told I could get a pedicure free of charge because they opened late and even then it was no one there to do my fill-in. When paying the man said I would have to pay because he painted my toes or some reason even though this is not what we agreed upon. After refusing to pay for the pedicure that I only got because he said it would be free I was told not to come back because they would not serve me. Han was rude from the minute he got there. The reason I give it one star is because their customer service is truly horrible. When you walk in DO NOT expect anyone to speak to you are even say hi because they most likely won't. I walked in at 6:30pm it wasn't until 6:53pm that someone asked me what I needed done. Not even someone to say the usual "pick a color". They were really slow and three technicians and nobody even acknowledged I was there. I would usually leave but I really need my nails done for the next day. The guy who did my nails barley spoke to me. He's in the first chair to the left when you walk in. Stay Away! I smiled and tried to have light conversation but he was not interested in the least bit. He did my nails nicely but never told me how much it was or if I liked them at all. It wasn't until they were all done that he told me the price. I paid said thank you and left. The very next day a nail broke!! Can you believe it?! Not even 24 hours later. I came back the next day to get it fixed and more of the same no communication. Clearly customer service isn't their strong suit. I would not go here unless something changes. I remember coming here months before and 7:15 pm and they told me they can't do my nails because it's too close to closing time which was 8pm. That's ridiculous! If you take your last clients at 7 then you should say you close at 7 not 8! I drove and rush over there just to get turned away 45 min before their closing time. Yesterday was my very first time visiting this salon, and I was very hopeful after hearing from others about their experiences. I had a younger lady/girl who seemed unsure about things from the beginning. She barely made eye contact, and her body language leads me to believe she was uncomfortable for some reason. To make a long story short, I sat down at the same time as my friend, and she finished 50minutes before he was done. I asked her to round my nails, and I could tell from that request that she wasn't seasoned enough at all to take any direction/requests. After she finished my toes and hands in 35 minutes, I felt cheated, and the look of the results was not even subpar. About 5 minutes later, she gave me my total and stated that she had to leave, so someone else would cash me out. The next minute she was running out of the salon. It's apparent she rushed through to make it to her prior commitment. I made mention to the manager that I had a rushed job, and my experience was terrible. I showed her my feet, and she apologized for the results and asked if she could round my nails. She attempted to fix them. Honestly, they still didn't look that great. To be seated and begin the process at 6:50 pm and she finished everything at 7:25 pm, it's obvious I didn't get the same treatment or experience as my friend. He was getting up from the chair at 7:59 pm. I always experience being treated unequally to women because its "abnormal that men should get manicures or pedicures. I have yet to go to a salon and feel like I am not taken advantage of or feel like someone has cut corners just because I am a guy getting service at a nail salon.
