The owner let one of us use their restroom but then proceeded to hover over the door and harass them for taking to long. They also followed us out after and said very sarcastically "well at least you got to take a dump" then proceeded to lecture us saying that my family member didn't leave the fan on or spray fragrance. My family member has IBS and was very embarrassed. The owner then replied to a previous review that a friend of theirs got robbed a year back and he tried to say we were trying to do the same to him. We just wanted to see your store of overpriced crap and you basically made us leave because of your preconceived prejudice. Get a camera if you're so scared of someone stealing. Also grow up and understand you have a street store that is open to the public. It is not illegal for us to just look around old man.... They have lots of toys, games, apparel, bath and body products, and accessories for younger kids (newborn to about 5 I would say). I didn't notice many options for big kids (12+). I did notice that there are a lot of items in the store that I've never seen before, but I also don't regularly shop at other children's stores. I like that they stock locally made and sustainable items. I also like that you can shop on their website and pick up at the store! They offer curbside pickup, which is great for those not wanting to or unable to go inside. They have everything from cookbooks to baby toys to stickers. There are gifts for almost every age and demographic. There are often goods from local artists and creatives which is really nice. One of my favorite features is the monthly art locker. For a one-time cost, you get a physical key with access to a locker with monthly goodies! The staff may be some of the kindest I've met. You can always talk about your day or learn about what's been going on downtown. There is a shop cat named Yuki who is soooooo cute and is my personal "where's waldo" whenever I'm in the store. Their marketing and promotions are really fun and the videos often make me laugh. They offer some free and paid events, making it a nice place to meet new people and engage in creativity.
