The chiropractor told me that he couldn't do work on me until he looked at X-ray of my back. They don't have one at the office so he asked me to go to a walk in clinic and get one there and come back on a different day for him to review my X-ray and do my first actual session. I was charged $60 for this 5 minute conversation and asked to probably spend another $120 at least before he would touch my back. I decided to take my business elsewhere. My current chiropractor charged me $40 for my first consultation (60 minutes) and a series of X-rays done at the office. I just felt like I should let others know that if you want a quality chiropractor you may want to look down the road in Barrington.

I was pretty much back to my normal routine after only 8 weeks post op with physical therapy. Today I am able to walk without pain and ride my bike long distance. My only complaint is that CORE sent me collagen dressings that, according to thier PA, I did not need, I did not order, and I did not know I would be receiving. The box of bandages just showed up on my doorstep. I cannot return them and my insurance did not pay the full cost of them so now I have to pay ~$400 for them. The sciatica that radiated my whole body was excruciating, and I was desperate to find anything that could help before my next step being a visit to the Neurosurgeon. Dr. Dace wasn't sure he could help me but, he performed a thorough assessment, determined that even though my case was complex, I was indeed a candidate for treatment, and developed an aggressive care plan to fit the 7 1/2 weeks I was visiting from out of town.
