I saw a doctor here for my foot in March 2014. They were in network with my health insurance,…read moreperfect. Received good care. Went for a follow up visit in April 2014, and then got a ridiculous bill. Office personnel explained that I was sent a letter in April that they were no longer in network, and that I should've read my mail before I came for the follow up visit. I said you should've informed me at the time of the visit that I was not in network anymore. They reported me to a collection agency for the amount of $48 which was the differential for the visit in network and out of network that I refused to pay. They report it to the credit bureau every month through their collection agency still four years later. Pretty much jerks. I tried to call the office several times to ask them to write it off because it was an extenuating circumstance but they would rather ruin my credit rating than be understanding about what they could have done at the time of the visit. I'm going to return the favor now and give them a poor yelp. I'm never going to pay the differential as a matter of principle, because the person at the front desk could've just let me know and I would not have had the visit which was nothing more than me saying my foot felt better. If you know anything about provider contracting, it's not an event that takes place overnight. I surmise that when I originally asked this group if they were in network they knew full well that as of April 1 they would no longer be in network with my insurer. It was irresponsible of this group not to inform me of the contract end date at the original visit, and then to follow up with the letter just as they were ending their contract. No phone call, and no information at the time of my visit in March. Sending a letter was a very passive approach and probably purposefully so. It's time you folks let it go.

The sciatica that radiated my whole body was excruciating, and I was desperate to find anything that could help before my next step being a visit to the Neurosurgeon. Dr. Dace wasn't sure he could help me but, he performed a thorough assessment, determined that even though my case was complex, I was indeed a candidate for treatment, and developed an aggressive care plan to fit the 7 1/2 weeks I was visiting from out of town. His goal was to help heal the herniated disc, reduce the pain and give me some function and mobility and to my amazement, it worked! Dr. Dace and Eve, along with Nelly, Kristina and Laura --played an important role in my recovery. They were all very kind, patient, compassionate, and incredibly gentle throughout every visit. Call me a sucker, but here is what I fell for... To begin, the building, staff, doctors are all very nice. The staff will refer to you by name always and everyone treats you with a smile. The problem however, is that this is an obvious act. The entire chiropractic FIELD is a scam. I feel sorry for the folks who were there daily or 3 times a week. They simply do not know or are afraid to question the "doctor". In any case, the whole premise of this business is to keep you coming back - plain and simple. The "doctor" will perform full body xrays for every patient (not necessary and potentially dangerous). To see the results you of course need to come back. When you do return for your second visit you are treated to a creepy video reminding you that you need to respect the practice and be ontime to all appointments. It also expands on the virtues of the practice of moving your bones around. He will also cover your "plan" which for me involved no less than TWENTY EIGHT visits totaling over $1100.00. (lolwut) The next thing you know you are brought into a room in which the "doctor" is going to move your bones using some creepy looking tools. This will supposedly be painless, but you are required to come back the next two days in a row to "see how your body reacts". Needless to say, at this point I said "No thanks" and left. Oh wait, as I was leaving I was encouraged to set up my next set of three appointments for the upcoming week. And also the financial lady asked me to sign a sheet saying that I agreed to the plan of TWENTY EIGHT visits and $1100+. This is really sad because most of the people in the office were old folks and ladies who seemed not to know any better. So overall Strelcheck is really good at what they do, unfortunately what they do is quackery. Do a simple Google search to find out for yourself.
