I saw a doctor here for my foot in March 2014. They were in network with my health insurance,…read moreperfect. Received good care. Went for a follow up visit in April 2014, and then got a ridiculous bill. Office personnel explained that I was sent a letter in April that they were no longer in network, and that I should've read my mail before I came for the follow up visit. I said you should've informed me at the time of the visit that I was not in network anymore. They reported me to a collection agency for the amount of $48 which was the differential for the visit in network and out of network that I refused to pay. They report it to the credit bureau every month through their collection agency still four years later. Pretty much jerks. I tried to call the office several times to ask them to write it off because it was an extenuating circumstance but they would rather ruin my credit rating than be understanding about what they could have done at the time of the visit. I'm going to return the favor now and give them a poor yelp. I'm never going to pay the differential as a matter of principle, because the person at the front desk could've just let me know and I would not have had the visit which was nothing more than me saying my foot felt better. If you know anything about provider contracting, it's not an event that takes place overnight. I surmise that when I originally asked this group if they were in network they knew full well that as of April 1 they would no longer be in network with my insurer. It was irresponsible of this group not to inform me of the contract end date at the original visit, and then to follow up with the letter just as they were ending their contract. No phone call, and no information at the time of my visit in March. Sending a letter was a very passive approach and probably purposefully so. It's time you folks let it go.

When I walked into the office it was clean and welcoming. My exam went well and my follow up was a bit overwhelming but it was time for me to take care of myself. The doctors are very patient and talk you through what they do and why. They want to find the root cause and fix it. Not just cover it up. I set up my appointments and my health journey began. Like most of you reading this I was skeptical that this wouldn't help my neck and lower back but I can truthfully say that it has helped tremendously. 3 months in and all was well until I hurt my back. I messaged the office to let them know that I would be coming in for my normal visit but I was injured. Dr Sebastian on the fly switched up my care plan to now just care for my injury. I injured my back on Sunday, could barely walk and sit on Monday but slowly with Dr Sebastian's adjustments it is now Thursday and I can sit and walk. I can't believe I'm feeling better already. To give a little background, I'm a 43 years old woman who lives in CL. I hurt my back by lifting a bunch of boxes that were entirely too heavy... Anyway, I called to make an apt. And shared at that time that I was desperate to get in to see someone who could "crack" my back . The receptionist, who's very efficient and quite nice got me in very quickly which I grateful for.. Soooo, I show up at the apt, check in , and then talk to the ladies up front about insurance. What's so strange is that i too had that exact same experience as many others have shared In that the ladies at the front took my BCBS card ( totally normal ) and then literally called them ( I could hear it) to see how much they ( BCBS ) would cover. That was a first! Butttt, I'm pretty laid back, whatever.... I came back up and grabbed my card and then took a seat anxiously waiting for my name to be called so that I could get some relief. 5 to 10 minutes later , they call my name and then usher me to a exam room where they had me undress and put on a medical gown. I'm getting excited because relief is now just minutes away..... WRONG! The chiropractor comes in and asks a bunch of questions, does a quick physical exam and then says he'll be back. Okkkkkk...... Then the nurse enters the room and instructs me to get dressed. Of course I'm totally confused b/c I came there to get an alignment and she said that's not gonna happen. As you might imagine, I was pretty frustrated. The chiropractor comes back into the room and shares that I "need MAJOR work" and that he couldn't possibly work on me that day for fear that it could make things worse. Give me a break... I was cer uncomfortable but it wasn't THAT bad. He said that I'd need to come back twice a week for treatments at $150 per treatment! I was speechless... He then left the room and the tech ushered me into a different room with a bunch of metals chairs in which she asked me to sit and watch a video ( VHS might I add! ) . The video was tacky, so dated. I'm not kidding when I share that this very strange flight or fight mechanism kicked in. All I could think of was GET ME OUTTA HERE. It gave me the creeps.. Something didn't feel right. I walked outta there and never looked back. These guys are something else ! I wasted a week on that first appointment which got me nowhere ! They response a lot with how ethical they are however, had I known that they had ZERO intention of helping me that first visit, I would have made different arrangements. Make no mistake.... As soon as I post this I'm sure "Pamela, " the office manager will retort by saying that her family has been in business for 59 years and that they are very ethical, etc. However, this was MY experience andvit wasn't pleasant. When someone makes an apt sharing that they are in pain and in need of an alignment the answer is not to play games by making me wait a week for what turned out being nothing more than a workup ( YES, they charged BCBS $300 for this visit! ) and then share that the only way I'll find relief is by being seen twice a week paying $300 a week / $1200 a month. the whole thing was just so weird... it was more about the money than the help.
