They explain over the phone what to expect upon arriving to the office. You call the main line upon arrival. A staff comes out and take everyone's temperature. Once clear, another staff comes out and bring in the patient. The parent can stay in the car or join their kid with mask on. Waiting area was cleaned and space our if a parent would rather wait there. Hand sanitizer is provided near the entrance for anyone to use. The staff here really makes this office special. All the dentist assistants are great with keeping the kids calm and entertained while they wait for the dentist. Everyone, from the ladies at the front desk to the hygiene assistants, to the dentist, are all great. On this visit we saw Dr. Chad Galbraith. He was great about keeping me informed during the visit on what he was doing and kept my 10 year old feeling comfortable sitting in the dentist chair for over 45 minutes. She had lots of work that needed to be done unfortunately. He even called me afterward to check on her since it was her first time using the laughing gas. The procedure was easy to follow and I felt good about my girls' visit.

My kids have been going to Swanson's for a while and up until this month they've been fine…read more That all changed this month when we get a bill for about $700 with the major item listed as 'Balance Forward', a late charge and a note saying we were 90 days past due. This was the first bill we'd gotten from them since I think the kids last checkup. Normally you wait for the insurance dance and eventually you get a bill, pay it and you're done. We called them and explained this was the first bill we've gotten and ask about what the unlabeled portion was. Once we got the info it all seemed normal and they waved the $5.16 late fee. After that we scheduled our bank to send a check so everything would be taken care of within 30 days of getting our bill. I guess that's not good enough for Swanson's billing dept. Since then they have hounded us through calls and texts, threatening to send us to collections. Again, this month is the FIRST time we were made aware of a bill. If you make a mistake and don't send a customer a bill, they're not 90 days past due. We need to know what you want us to pay. I guess Swanson assumes we all love to stop by our kids dentist every month to double check if we owe them anything? Basically we have no issue paying our bill but they messed up by not sending a bill on time and now we're going to a new dentist so we don't have to deal with Swansons terrible billing dept. Swanson, fix your stuff. This is unacceptable and is going to lose you customers. Edit: quick update, after posting this review they sent me a new bill saying I have less time to pay and now owe them more

Dr Swanson seemed rushed when he came in and barely talked to us or my son to put him at ease. When my son got scared Dr Swanson put him in a headlock and had the assistant pin him down. He then told me this is why he doesn't allow parents to go in the back with their children. We could hear other kids screaming in the other room. I was super upset but thought maybe this was some weird isolated incident. I found out he has done this to many other children as well. He traumatized my child and it took years after that to get him comfortable at the dentist. De Swanson should not be practicing medicine. Run away from ANY Dr or Dentist that won't allow you to be with your child. They don't want you there because they don't want you to see what they are doing. I wouldn't bring a dead slug to that man. Yes, this has happened to other children I know as well. This is the whole reason we never went back.

I have gone to this practice for a year now. I had a front filling done and a month later it broke…read moreoff. I came back in to get it fixed (for no charge which was good), but 3 months later the filling is yellowing and chipping. I do not drink coffee or eat sugar. When I asked them about this they said it was normal wear and tear and the filling would have to be redone every couple of years. My insurance company didn't cover all of this filling so I notified the office that I would be contacting the insurance company myself. The office was very persistent on calling me for payment. I have moved to Canada and no longer have insurance in the states. I called the office to ask to get my scans (including a panoramic whole mouth xray) sent to the office in Canada and they said that there was no record of this xray being done. I remember being charged for this and having it done so I called and explained to them that I had it done around my birthday before my insurance expired. After searching through my files, they eventually found the xray and said they would send it to the new Dentist. However, this was never included in the files and some blank files were sent over. When I called back to ask about this, they said it was a process to send files and they needed more notice. I am still confused why they are having trouble finding my panoramic xray in my files. Overall, Dr Bult seems friendly and it is nice to have an office with all women staff. I would use caution when it comes to general dentistry, the practice does not encompass a holistic view and there is no mention of nutrition and prevention.

I saw Faith Bult for some dental work back in 2006. They put in a filling that ended up not staying…read morein. When I went back to get it redone, the assistant started drilling on my tooth before the novacain set in even though I had told them my body is extra sensitive and needs more time than most people for it to set in. She drilled right on the nerve (I didn't realize she was going to start drilling so I couldn't say no in advance), and it was the worst pain I've ever felt. It was horrible. I saw blazing light and my feet flew up over my head. They let the novocain set in after that and finished the filling. But the new filling ended up not staying put either, it rocked back and forth. I called it quits then (I should have after the first filling), and went to another dentist who, upon looking at my tooth, asked me where I had gotten the work done. When I told her, she said, "Ah yes. We've seen many of her patients over the years. I'm sorry you experienced that." They couldn't put another filling in because Bult had drilled so much/wide that there wasn't room, so I ended up needing a crown. I've experienced ongoing pain from that initial appointment for 20 years and will likely need a root canal soon. I feel clear that if the initial cavity was filled correctly jt wouldn't be in pain (I've had other cavities filled without any problems). Bult never replied to my feedback, and never owned up to the mistakes of either filling or the drilling without novocain. I simply advise you to go elsewhere.

I want to thank Clare and Dr. Swanson for their selfless act to scheduling me last minute and treating me. They showed concern and great care while my visit. If it weren't for them, I'd be at the ER. They followed up the next morning to check how I was doing. If I didn't live 80 miles away, I would still be coming to this office for their services. They truly care about their patients and listen closely to your concerns.

You can do the responsible thing and pay your balance or let the account default. I have cancelled your next appointment and inactivated your account. You will receive a statement in the mail. each month until paid. The care has been excellent and I've got nothing but good to say about them. The front office staff is a different story. Trying to reach anyone to schedule an appointment is a challenge itself. If you do leave a message, be prepared to not get a return phone call. Most recently I left 4 voicemails to schedule my twice-annual cleaning and couldn't get anyone to call me back over the course of 4 months. In the last 3 years during the times I was able to get scheduled for an appointment they ran late every single time. I'd estimate my wait time to be at least 30 minutes beyond my scheduled time. Maybe this doesn't happen if you're first in the chair, but as the day wears on it seems they run further behind. Like I said, the hygienists and the two dentists are excellent, but dealing with the front office was unpleasant enough that I've decided to switch dental providers. There are enough great dental offices in town.... don't bother with these folks.
