We were very pleased when Eric cleaned our system and showed us that the only issue was that the run capacitor on the compressor was struggling. Eric replaced it and added a "hard start kit" to reduce strain and power consumption during startup. Overall, he was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing. There was no effort to "upsell us." The system has been working great ever since.

Back in the start of the pandemic, we had Banker come in and blow insulation in the attic of our…read more1400 sq ft home. Fast forward about 5 years, and we had another company install mini splits. When they were in the attic, they noticed that 400 sq ft of space had no insulation in it. I reached out to Banker to see if they had any idea what had gone wrong, and they were very responsive, and helpful. Apparently, back at that time, there were a number of people working for Banker who did not do great work, and have since been let go. The representative I spoke to at Banker told me that they were actively trying to improve their reputation, which had suffered significantly during that time. They offered to come back and finish the job, and even to upgrade the R value of the insulation in the entire attack, all at no charge to me. So, while my initial experience almost half a decade ago was not great, I do think the company has turned over a new leaf, and is working hard to do a really good job now. I would not hesitate to work with them again, if the need ever came up. Everyone I spoke and worked with this time around was professional, responsible, and very easy to work with.

They spent 4 hours cleaning the fireplace and diagnosed the problem we were having (we had ignored the fireplace maintenance unlike all other aspects of our home- we moved into it new in 2012). Told us to get the gas company out to inspect valve as it was pushing too much propane-lo and behold carbon monoxide being emitted. Got that taken care of and the crew mad sure we had our part ordered and installed in a most timely fashion well before the desired XMAS eve date. Fireplace hs much larger flames now and very clean. Our older home was leaking cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter and with college kids in and out our energy bills were getting totally out of control. I did my research (the company website is very informative) and I called in to ask more questions. The sales team was a delight to work with. You know how service providers can be, not timely and you wait around for them to show up. Not the case here. They showed up for our early morning appointment right on time. The installers were very friendly and got to work right away. You have to go out for the day as the process is rather noisy but so worth it. After they were finished, everything was clean as if nothing had ever changed. Our home has stone floors and now my feet (not to mention the rest of me) stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We are always the last of our friends to turn on the heater or the air conditioner. We recently added a new air conditioner and we have seen a 42% drop in our energy bills! I make my husband take me out to dinner more often with the money we are saving. Great company, great product.

The sales rep even came out with his special measure device and couldn't find one place that had 3.5". I sent them numerous pictures also. Because the tech only sprayed about an inch the first time they came out they returned a second time and ruined the day for the other contractors I had scheduled even after telling the rep not to come out. I am now delayed on the rest of my project because of their inconsideration and NO customer service. The rep said they would discount the job since I clearly only had 1/2 the product that was promised. For a $12,000 job they took off $1000. Seems fair to deliver 1/2 the product, screw the customer over with other contractors and then discount LESS than 10%. If you want an honest job involving quality GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you are looking for honor and integrity go elsewhere!! You have been warned.
