And did I mention my first call was answered by a real person who unscrambled my miss use of " I have no cool air" ... they came highly recommended by my daughter n husband who had 2 units put in their house and they were in the mist of a big dinner and Red Rock came to the rescue with portable units to get them thru the day!! I am so grateful for Red Rock & Chad - my a/c was working just the fan was running non-stop so I contacted the big company who gave me a great deal on my unit because I was a new customer. However, they tried to take advantage of me saying my 12 year old unit needed to be replaced & new units are 3x as expensive. If I made a bad decision & did just the repair it would be $3k. All that didn't see right so I researched for someone else. Red Rock has excellent reviews so I called & they came out the next day. Not only did Chad say I didn't need a new unit, which would be much less than what the big company quoted, my repair was simple and half the price quoted. When you call someone to work on your house, you want someone who is an expert in their field. What you don't want, is a salesman slinging you products and services you don't need to line their pockets. I don't want to be sold a new unit or services I don't need. I just want to talk to a technician to better understand my situation. Thankfully, this is 100% what you'll get with Chad. An expert in his field and not a salesman. So here's my experience with him: I knew about Chad and Red Rock Air from a company I used to work for. We had him replace a commercial unit and blower. Later there was a clogged pipe from the previous installer and Chad fixed their work. He was always on time, professional and did what he promised. Fast forward almost 2 years later and I called him up to service my unit. It's so old everyone has tried to sell me a new one. Even the home inspector said he had no clue how old it was, it was just old enough to think about replacing. Well, Chad figured it out. 1984! It's a year older than I am and still kickin!! I told him my goal was to get a basic service and to see if the thing would continue to work for at least another year. He found several issues, explained everything about the problems I've been experiencing, the solutions, and that none of it was going to be worth my money. The unit is so old, putting $800 into the repairs wouldn't equate into any savings. He suggested we run it until it breaks and then make the decision to repair or replace. Yes, he said REPAIR IT OR replace it. Not a single A/C guy will tell you something like that. They instantly go to REPLACE. Everyone jumps to buying new crap that doesn't last as long. I mean, think about it, this unit is still working after 33 years! Is it expensive to run, yes, but $5,000 or more for a new unit isn't any cheaper! The only reason I'd replace this unit is if it's necessary. You won't get 33 years out of any of the new units!! So, if you're looking for an honest HVAC guy, this is the company you want to call. I suggest just getting his "maintenance" service, its only $60 and is worth the education you'll get if you don't know about your system. I can't believe that's all he charged me, I was expecting a lot more. He could've got $800 out of me if he pushed the repairs, but he knew that wasn't my goal and that this unit is still working to my satisfaction. You have to support someone like that! This is what you need to know: HONEST | PUNCTUAL | TRUSTWORTHY | QUALITY SERVICE | .... I can't say enough to let everyone know how much I trust Red Rock Air to service my units. Chad has saved my butt more than once. And the latest time....well let me say that nobody else is going to touch my a/c units both at my personal residence and my rental properties. Here's why: Received a call from my property manager that the unit at my rental stopped blowing cold air. I called Chad and he told me he was booked solid for the day, the earliest he could get out was 7pm. I told him I would let the property management use there A/C guy take a look at it and give me a diagnosis. Ya, I've learned my lesson. The short of it is the property management company's guy diagnosed it and came back with over a $600 dollar fix. After talking with this imposter, I said "no' and called Chad back. Chad said he'd be there at 7PM....He showed up at 5PM!!!! 2 hours early in 110 degree weather.... I told him the imposters diagnosis and he said he'd look over the whole unit. He called me 30 mins later with GREAT NEWS! Not only did the imposter misdiagnose the problem completely (bad condenser fan and really low freon) he found the true issue, fixed it and saved me over $300 and thousands of dollars in costly drywall repair had I let the imposter fix it! Our very old air conditioning went out in April. Red Rock came on a Sunday and put in a new unit. Chad was amazing to work with. Our unit had an issue on a Friday night 3 weeks after it was installed. Chad came out on a Friday night at 9:30 and fixed the problem. Now that is some amazing customer service. 10 Stars!!!! First of all, let me tell you this... coming across people like Chad are very hard to come by. I was referred to Chad and his company Red Rock Air Heating & Cooling from his friend John. You see, I've been going through a very difficult time with my home warranty company. I thought to myself, there must be something more I can do. So I Googled Heating & AC. I called the first phone number I saw. I didn't realize then, but I had contacted a warehouse supply for AC units. John picked up the phone and said, "Oh, let me give you my friends number, his wife will answer and leave a message and they will help you out." I thanked him and proceeded to call Red Rock. After leaving a vm, I received a call back from Chad's wife. She confirmed that they will be able to come out and visit within a time frame of 5pm to 7pm. I said, absolutely, I'll be here waiting. Well 2 hrs. go by and Chad & Alan pull up to the house. I tell him the story of the fiasco we are dealing with our home warranty company and the lack of service. This is day 2 by the way without AC in Arizona heat which is 93 degrees +. They could tell the entire experience with my home warranty has exhausted me since I don't ever get a call back. So seeing Chad & Alan pull up I was so thankful. After Chad inspected the unit and climbed through a hot attic, he told me we have a leak and freon. He mentioned that the home warranty company will do whatever they need to do to by pass installing a new unit. He was honest, extremely knowledgeable and honorable in his advice and work. I could tell he is a genuine business owner and person. That being said, he mentioned he would send an email to for us to review a quote. I said that would be so great!! Later on that evening, after Chad & Alan pulling a 14 hr. day in the hot AZ heat, I received a quote from Chad. Chad went beyond the call of duty. My family and I had just returned home from a two week vacation to discover our air conditioner was not working. This was Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. We thought we had zero chance to get any help until Tuesday. We called Chad and he came out THAT EVENING. He diagnosed the problem, our blower motor had died. He said the warehouse wouldn't be open until Tuesday but he could rig up a temporary fix to get us through the weekend. He showed up the next morning, on time, to install the temporary fix, then showed up, again on time, later in the week to install the permanent fix. Wow, talk about incredible customer service! This company truly understands the value of repeat business. We received a quote for some duct repairs on our system. When Chad arrived and started the work he discovered something blocking the ducts, which meant a much faster and cheaper repair. He could have just completed the more expensive work but instead was honest just removed the blockage. He even cleaned the exterior system dramatically improving the efficiency of our AC units.
