Wenatchee Petroleum recommended Gale Contractor Services to install propane lines into our all-electric home. I called 'Gale' three times (over a week) and left voicemails explaining that I wanted lines run to our kitchen stove and laundry room dryer. Carla finally called back, leaving a message that they "don't do fireplaces". I called her back and explained this was for kitchen and laundry, not fireplace. She said, "We don't do that either." I asked, "...in other words, you don't install propane lines at all? ...because Wenatchee Petrol... ..." ... [click] ...Carla hung up on me in the middle of my question! Ok, Now I Get It! 'Gale' serves contractors, not individual home owners. They've learned over time that individuals are not their target clients. Consequently, they don't have to be responsive or courteous to "individuals". Duly noted forever! This has been an extremely frustrating journey that is not over and it's been nearly a year. Gale Contracting from Wenatchee was hired as the dealer for Northwest Doors. Ours was a custom door situation, but were told by Gale that the install date would be Dec. 2, 2023. Months went by and nothing. We kept being told "doors should be in next week"....how many times we heard that???, far too many. We spoke with our sales representative then his boss. Everyone we talked to was so passive about the situation. In the meantime weather had set in, this is new construction so without garage doors the interior of the house is essentially exposed. We put tarps up but they were ripped off many times from the wind. They installed the doors, finally, this summer (about 8-9 months after promised install date). However, the first install was incorrect. Very long story short....here we are October 15, 2024 and it still isn't right. They have also now put screws into drywall that weren't supposed to be there because of the incorrect installation. This has been quite a nightmare. We will never use Gale Contracting again. The crazy thing is, the day of the install they want payment, yet we are forced to wait and wait and wait and still waiting for proper install. Very unprofessional. read more

Gale Contractor Services is a fraudulent company. They asked for a 50% deposited, which has happily made to have gutters installed. Three days taken off of work, to have them never show up with as little as a phone call or apology given. Poor Customer service to say the least. No ONE SHOULD USE Gale Contractor Services! A month later, no one has returned my 20 phone calls to reschedule. A month later, no offer to come out right away and install the gutters. A month later, they still have a 50% deposit for a job that was NEVER DONE. read more

I will never use this company again. They insulted one of my rentals and over filled a wall which broke off the window trim and cracked the wall board. The mess they left was overwhelming. The plugs they put in were so uneven or deep it took hours to fix. When I called about the problems we set up an appointment and they never showed. When I reset the appt, they told me they didn't have time to fix the blown out trim and walls... They said I could find someone and they'd give me a break in price... in the end they didn't charge me for the wall insulation... BUT I would have much rather paid for a quality job... I spent hours chasing them down to get info and finally some the refund. read more

Please do yourself a favor don't waste your time with this company. They want 50% up front and can't commit to you when your job will get done. There communication is very poor just look at the reviews on several websites it's a eye opener. Check reviews before using them. I went to another company in Wenatchee for a garage door and it was over 1,000 less and I was given a install date. What a difference in customer service. I called Gale Contractor Services in Wenatchee and found them to be knowledgeable, reliable and courteous. My garage door opener wasn't running smoothly and would often retract at odd times. They came soon after I called, recognized what was causing the problem and fixed it. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. One of two springs on my garage door broke. Gale Contractor said they would be here in one week, they did not show up but put me off another week and did not show up then either! I called another company in Wenatchee, WA and they will be here tomorrow to fix it. read more

So I needed my attic insulated. The estimator didn't want to deal with actually getting into my attic. He asked that one of the other estimates be sent to him for sq ft info. I did this. Yeah, ok maybe I should have realized how half an effort that was and gone a different direction. They could however get the work done relatively fast. So I went with them. Turns out the estimate I sent them had the wrong sq ft for my attic. I wasn't comparing similar bids. I got a third bid that had the proper sq ft so two out of the three bids were for a third of my attic? This bid looked fair, had heard good things about their work and the estimator seemed genuine enough. I now have a third of a roof insulated. When the work was being done the installer even questioned why it was only four bags of blow in insulation. Sure it's on me but apparently "I need my attic insulated" means about a third of my house's attic. You would think if the guy had measured and gotten into my attic he would have been able to reconcile that the sq ft wasn't right. They said it was on me and that they did quality work. Ok sure, quality work maybe, quality estimation not so much. read more

Run off the road by Gale Contracting Services truck! On the 240 in Richland, WA I was in the through lane and the Gale truck was in the merge land. The truck forced me to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting oncoming traffic. I called Gale to explain the situation, left a message, requested a call back from management and no call back occurred. For the sake of argument let's call the traffic issue an "OVERSIGHT." It would seem to me that a concerned and involved business owner would call back. Just one more indicator of the management and how Gale conducts business. Also an indicator of the business values. read more

Gale contracting installed my shop doors 4 months ago. I have had nothing but problems with them. the windows leak on one of them. Another one is basically falling apart after 10 uses. another one hasn't worked correctly since it was installed. I haven't even opened one of the doors in fear that it will fall out. their customer service sucks and I still need two more big doors for my house. I spent $8500 on these four doors and they're junk, not to mention I cnat get anyone to fix them. I would not recommend this place to install a doggy door on a home doghouse.
