Les, the owner worked up a plan to replace all of our heat pumps, air conditioning units and thermostats which allowed us to take advantage of all the PUD energy savings refunds available. We have great warranties, and they respond to any problems imediately if possible. Central Washington Heating & Air has top notch employees, starting with the receptionist who is delightful, to each and every technician who go beyond just taking care of things, to making sure everything else is running correctly. It was a great experience. Jessie, maintenance guy, called and asked to come out earlier than scheduled which worked out great for me. Jessie was prompt and very thorough with system checks. Spent much longer than 20 minutes unlike the previous maintenance person from a different HVAC company. The cost was very reasonable even though i didn't use the fall or spring discounts. That's when i should have done it but be that as it may it was well worth the visit. He even checked to make sure the drain line was not clogged, again, something the previous maintenance person failed to do. I have a Carrier heat pump and CW HVAC services all brands which is a relief so you don't have to commit to the company that installed the system new. Great Job Jessie. Thanks for your expertise. If you need a company to back its product look no further. We had equipment installed that was defective and they stood behind their product. When the manufacturer wouldn't do anything else, they took action and replaced it. It was so nice to work with the folks at Central WA heating and air. When they weren't able to inspect my furnace due to its location when they were out for my a/c maintenance, they offered to come back to complete the maintenance/ inspection on my furnace. It's partially my mistake that they weren't able to access the furnace when they first came out as I didn't know to mention its location was in the attic and not outside with the a/c. read more

Ryan, came on the 6th to do a check up on the Heat Pump System. No problems. Called on the 18th to report that we did not have any AC. Ryan showed up an hour later and found that a wire (thermostat) was loose off the terminal screw. After reattaching we had AC. Ryan was apologetic that the screw evidently not been tightened properly (Several Times). No charge for coming back to fix the crew tightening problem. Good service and concern, Ed C. read more

My father has used this company for generations. Recently they needed repair work on a A/C unit. The tech charged $95 to diagnosis repairs, proceeded to complete repairs without gaining permission from my father. They charged $672.00! My father called and questioned why so much. He was told its all profit. I called to other HVAC companies in town,neither one charged a diagnosis fee and both quoted at least 40% less than this company charged my father. He also happens to be in mid 80's on a very fixed income. I spoke with owner yesterday regarding my findings - no call back -- no reduction in their horribly over inflated rates. My father will never use this company again, now will I. I will be contacting the BBB, Google and Yelp reviews -- companies that price gouge the elderly need to be stopped! read more

Our 1940's house needed a new furnace and air conditioning system. Dave & Morro showed up with the new Lennox equipment and did a fantastic job putting it in a rather tight area in our basement. The installation took three days, but thanks to their planning we were never without heat at night. The workmanship was exceptional. Duct work was custom and beautifully executed. We had our new furnace installed on Monday. The installers were Bill & Min & were here right @ 8 A.M. These 2 guys worked to get us done in just 1 day. Everything works great and everything was explained to us about the thermostat after the install was completed. If I could give these guys and this business more stars, I would. When we purchased our Lake Wenatchee cabin, many of our friends who are from the Seattle area warned us that everything moves a little slower on the east side of the Cascades, especially contractors. We experienced that with a competitor of Central Washington Heating and Air ("Central"). After the competitor took weeks to get back to us, I found Central. Central was prompt (got us an immediate bid for a new AC system), the bid was very fair, and Central installed the system promptly. The owner, Les, immediately returns emails and text messages. Heard a special advertised on the radio for a routine service for $60. Has not serviced the unit for 2 years so I thought what the heck. Kris came to my home in a severe snowstorm and was at the promised time. He took his shoes off as he came in and out of my home and put a tarp down where he put his ladder. When he was done in the attic, there were fingerprints on the access cover which he cleaned off. He performed a great deal of testing and told me that all was good with my system and no further work was needed. When he was done, I had a number of questions about the heat pump and its workings. He spent quite a bit more time answering all of my questions. I would highly recommend this organization!! Very pleased and Kris was respectful and a pleasure to have at my home. read more

Called for AC service and they were available the very next day! The gentleman was 30 minutes late no call, no explanation. He quickly determined that he needed to come back that afternoon with parts for the simple repair. He never returned and didn't call. I left a voicemail at their shop that night asking what happened. The same worker called the next day to say he'd "space it" and would come that day. So I cancelled a previously scheduled pest spraying appointment so he could come back and work under the house. He never returned or called that day. So I again called the shop and asked that a manager return my call this time and send someone responsible and qualified as I no longer trusted the original worker after two failed service calls. About 0900 the next business day the original worker called to say he was at my house making the repair and couldn't explain why he didn't show up on Friday. He also informed me when asked that I'd be charged full price. I got home at lunch and though the AC now works, it's only coming out of the vents at 60-70% of the force it did before he arrived. Never again will I support this business. read more
