Broke down on the Thruway. Took a little while, but driver showed up. Driver was awesome. Got me to their shop and let me hang out while waiting for my wife. The front wheel bearing on my F-350 had failed. I asked them to do both at the same time. Tried to tell me I had a bad upper ball joint. Sent me a video. Looked to me like the nut was loose. Told them same. They disagreed. No worries, I said let it go. When I picked up the truck, I pulled the cotter pin, put a socket on the the nut and tightened it up. (Left loose by Owner at Santoni's garage in Collegeville Pa. when fixing alignment his "tech" screwed up) Just came in from lubing the front end on my truck. Felt something by the passengers lower ball joint. Got it out and found out it was the nut from the upper right stud where Gallagher's had replaced the bearing. This is why I do all my own work whenever possible. Also poor communication about status of truck and picking up. If you use Gallagher's just check their work yourself I guess! read more

Had the misfortune of being on the same highway as a tow truck from gallaghers on the ny state through way. After sitting in the left lane and holding up traffic we eventually managed to get past them only to get caught up in more traffic and have them tailgate the car at 70mph inches from The rear bumper. I wouldn't be surprised if this is there business practice in order to cause accidents so they can then tow them. Horrible driver. read more

Gallather's Saved me not once, but twice in one weekend. Our car broke down on Friday night, St. Patrick's Day, there were no garages open until the next day. With the help of a really nice Cairo policeman, we called Gallagher's. Not only did they come out at 11:30pm on Friday, Logan graciously agreed to tow us to Schoharie County, about 50 miles from where we broke down. All good, we got home and had our car "repaired" and were driving back home on Saturday afternoon, when again the car failed, this time just on the east side of the Rip Van Winkle bridge. At 4:00pm on a Saturday afternoon I didn't know what to do, so I called Gallagher's. Again, Logan was there in about 15min., I couldn't believe how fast he got there, he said it would have been faster but he had to switch trucks. Logan again graciously towed us to Oneonta, everything went so smoothly and we dropped out car at the dealership. Logan is AWESOME, very friendly and gets the job done!!! I can't thank him and Gallagher's enough for all of their help, they were really a life saver!!! I wanted to give them a shout-out and a BIG THANK_YOU for great service!! read more

While on my way to vacation, my car wouldn't turn on after stopping at a rest stop in Saugerties. AAA dispatched to Gallagher's Garage to come look at my car battery. Joe came to look at my battery and found a lose bolt, which he fixed. My car turned on and all seemed well. We got back onto the road and drove a couple hundred yards when the hood of my car popped up and shattered my windshield. Luckily we were able to maneuver the car to the shoulder of the road safely. CLEARLY Joe did not close the hood of my car after doing the battery repair. This incompetence could have injured or killed me and my passenger if we had not been able to safely get to the shoulder. I had over 2,000 dollars in damages to the car after this incident. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GARAGE. read more

Something hit our car, causing a flat tire on a winter night on a highway with very little shoulder. The employee from Gallagher's who answered the call via AAA was amazing. My driver tire was busted and I managed to make it to Gallaghers tire shop which was several miles away. When I got there I waited for over an hour after being told I would be assisted to get the owner of the shop comes up to me telling me they won't be able to do my tire at all and I had to get the fu## off his property. He was very rude, racist, unprofessional and disrespectful. What a first impression. read more
