The staff were all so kind and helpful. While I was waiting for my appointment, one of the women showed me these awesome products they carry that are not only makeup, but sunscreen as well. Essentially, I could go to the beach with a full face of makeup and not smell like traditional sunscreen or look greasy. I love that. The walls of this place are decorated with gorgeous art and in some of the rooms you can see the original brick walls of the building showing. The Diamond Glow treatment itself was not painful at all, but gave me the result of cleaned out pores. The suction takes out all the gook and replaces it with the serum of your skin professional's choosing (my serum was a hydrating one). The entire treatment was short enough to fall in my lunch hour, and was non abrasive enough for me to walk out and show the world my cleaned face. This is truly a luxury experience. Anything you want, coffee, tea, water, a more youthful complexion, can all be given to you here. I will definitely be back for more sessions.

Something I found strange, beside the other nonsense, was that I would show her pictures of the EXACT lips that I wanted to build and they never looked like what I showed her. I even confronted her about in at our next appointment and she would say she normally does and even prefers the "bimbo look". Yes she said this verbatim. If bimbo equated to BOTCHED then maybe. Here below I have a photo of my lips currently. Shara, this is nothing short of a malpractice. I understand honesty is important in cosmetic medicine, but delivery matters. I did not feel supported, educated, or respected -- I felt discouraged and overwhelmed. For a field that works so closely with patients' self-image, I expected a more thoughtful and compassionate approach. This may be the right practice for some, but it was not the right experience for me.

Dr. Salyard is great but they do not have appointment availability for children who prefer not to miss school with the latest appointment being at 3:40 when some children get out of school at 3:30. Plus, what about people and parents that work? They don't get a chance to be seen without missing work? The receptionist hung up on me because she couldn't hear me after answering the phone and saying one "hello" and was very short with me when I questioned the hours for school children. The voice/ face of Refine Dermatology is not welcoming like it once was.
