Nancy paints in the impressionistic style and the three paintings I bought were all oil on canvas. I have downloaded pictures of the paintings. I needed a garage structure. I should have known better when they would not even come to look at my property to give me an accurate quote until I paid them a deposit of $1800. Once they got that, they stopped communicating, would not give me an accurate contract, would not discuss potential add ons but changed the contract to include them even tho we finally decided against doing them. They refused to alter the plans to reflect what we wanted to build, refused to answer any questions, argued about why I am asking them and never sent an installer nor did one ever call until Nov 7, 2024. They kept lying, saying their "installer tried to call me" and I have phone records to prove that NO installer ever called me until today, 11/7/24 acting like all was fine. The job was supposed to be completed by the 2nd week of September, 2024. I have already paid yet another deposit to a reputable company that is great to work with. I can't wait any longer for King's to meet my terms which were to: Send me a corrected contract Answer my questions in a timely fashion Remove the extra awning feature we talked about and decided against Redo the invoice to reflect the changes Apologize for their unprofessional attitude and act professionally ongoing They never responded to this request. I asked them to do that by October 25th or I was going to be filing this complaint and finding another company to do the structure. It is now November 7th and their installer has called as though nothing is wrong for the first time. I have filed a complaint with BBB and will file a claim in small claims court to recover my $1800 deposit This job was supposed to be completed in a week or 2 after signing August 18, 2024. I arrived in TX beginning of September and had nothing but issues with them and no completed structure. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
