Stay away. No Integrity, No Communication Skills, No business skills…read more I am from out of state and flew out to meet with contractors. Kerry and I spent several hours at the property discussing all repair items needed. He quoted me a price and we shook hands and agreed to the price. We then shopped together to buy the cabinets, flooring, and other materials needed for the job with the intent of formalizing the contract that evening. Kerry was to meet me at Lowe's to sign the contract and for me to provide the first payment. He did not show up to Lowe's, but emailed me a contract that was $800 higher than agreed. He emailed me, "The more I think through the detail on this job, the more I see ways to lose money on the deal." I asked him to honor the agreed upon price, since I, in good faith, purchased the materials, not knowing he would change the labor cost. Kerry was apparently not comfortable with the conversation and would no longer return my calls, texts, or emails. I only received a return call from his brother when I threatened to call the police to get my cabinets and materials back. Kerry advertises that he is licensed and insured on his website, but I searched, and am unable to find a contractor license in his name. I would assume he is not licensed, unless he can provide a license number, which his website does not. The whole experience was like dealing with a 4 year-old. He refused to communicate once he became uncomfortable with me requesting him to act with integrity. He then had his brother do all of his communication with me only after being forced to. I thoroughly regret working with Kerry, as it cost me 2 days of my 3 day trip and now I have materials my next contractor probably wouldn't have chosen, such as unfinished cabinets. I very much value people doing what they say they are going to do, and Kerry does not. Since he is the principal of Handyman Helpers LLC, I would recommend avoiding this company.

Tore up truck to haul debris and no dependable help. Seemed to always have an excuse not to complete the job. I felt bad for them and the good person I am did pay them for what they did to help get them back on track to complete what should have been a two or three day job was a week later and could not finish do to many many excuse. I just let them go and asked for partial refund to pay someone else to remove tree debris left in yard and stump grinding. Stump grinding person never showed up Cameron said he contracted out. Uncut pine. "Camarron" said he would refund me but it's been a week now no communication and no partial refund to date. Do not pay until job totally complete. Another fly by and not honest enough to refund a portion of funds if unable to finish. Asked to see their license and insurance paperwork not just their word and make sure they get a city permit before work starts.
