I arrived 30 minutes before…read moreclosing on a Friday of a 3 day holiday, in the heat of summer, with 2 oddly sized nautical propane tanks that needed filled before setting sail for a 2 week passage. Kevin Jr. was efficient and kind considering it was near closing time. He identified that 1 tank was beyond expiration and needed a new valve and recertification. The tank is an odd size but Baygas had the necessary sized valve and Kevin repaired, recertified and refilled them both gladly and with professionalism. But There's More ... 1 and 1/2 hours after close I realized that I must have left my credit card in their office which would be closed until Tuesday. Taking a long shot I called Saturday morning and left a voice-mail. Unbelievably, within an hour afterwards I received a call from the office manager, Samantha. Wow, they checked voice-mail when closed on a Saturday (of a holiday weekend) and responded. Samantha, very compassionate to my dilemma, made arrangements to retrieve the card and meet me for it's return. Both Kevin Jr. and Samantha showed Stellar Customer Service !!!

We arrived and was immediately greeted by a suit of armor when you entered the building. It's rather unexpected to see a pirate among lots of other items for sale- T-shirts, watches, magnets, etc. We bought the XL TV box and 3 of the divided packing boxes for glassware. This particular location is pretty much your run-of-the-mill type of convenience store with no "make it to go" kitchen like you would see in a modern Quiktrip. They do have the usual weenie roller along with some pizza slices and some other minor heated food stuffs. They have a good coffee bar and soft drink stations. There are three gas pumps and there's plenty of ice to purchase, but there are no propane tank rentals. There's about a dozen or so cooler doors filled with a myriad of drink selections. There's all the usual things you would expect to find within a convenient store that is 30 x 40'. The photos tell the rest of the story.
