We talked about different types of trash that range from paper all the way to clothing and how long it would actually take to decompose. They were to arrange them in order of decomposition. The group that had the correct order won a prize. they also brought an old t-shirts to make bags out of. The bags were used to walk along the beach and collect trash. the kids also learned about different types of turtles and how this organization was trying to do their best to keep them from going endangered even more than they already are. I believe it was a good learning experience for them.

So when we headed this morning, we were ecstatic to get there. To our misfortune, the lady at the front was a a total disappointment. We come in with samples to show her and she indicates that she only has one size that we were looking for. My significant other starts to ask more questions and she just seems very uninterested, annoyed, and was even texting, and looking down the entire time. They were able to provide some of what we needed. We headed to the lumber department and those folks in the back were a little easier to talk to. They were very helpful and pleasant. My significant other called to report the incident and the manager did apologize. However, this kind of treatment to their customer will do any small business damage.
