We recently purchased a lake home on Grand Lake. We have been trying the local restaurants and it was Gambino's turn. We ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza, one of my favorites. When we opened the box the pizza looked great, full of toppings and lots of cheese, no skimping on ingredients. The pizza tasted awesome much better than other pizza we've had at the lake so far. Placed an order online. On the website it said it would be ready at 7:15. Our order was placed at 6:30. Pulled up to the drive through at 7:19 to be told "Actually since it was an online order it's actually going to be another 15 minutes." So 3 cheese pizzas take an hour to make. Make it make sense. We called in a pizza order, and it was ready by the time we drove over. We got the mobster pizza, and it was excellent. We will definitely come back here next time we are in the area for a lake trip. Service was friendly as well! read more

We took our basketball team to grab some pizza after playing in Ketchum. Their service was top notch and the pizza was delicious.

Tried their sandwiches last weekend. Had some friends that get them all the time. For a toasty sub, they were A-OK. We tried the Italian and the Gambino Club. Like I said, both were OK. Probably not the best sandwiches we ever had, but it was a good reprieve from pizza. Take out sandwiches came with a small bag of Ruffles. They were pretty busy when we picked them up. Know that they do deliver to some of the marinas in the area. Will probably order again. read more

This pizza place reminds me of my hometown pizza place 40 years ago. It's great pizza and made fresh. Fairly inexpensive and really convenient to several marinas. Several times I've grabbed a small pizza in route to my boat, climbed aboard and motored out for a pizza/sunset cruise cruise. They are building a new building that's across the street from the existing location, not sure when they move. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Any time I wait a hour for a pizza, when they were not busy, they can keep their crappy pizzas. Place has fallen down under new management.

We ordered the Mobster and cheese breadsticks. The pizza was loaded but a bit light on the sauce for my husband but I liked that part. The breadsticks were not to my liking at all, not much cheese and what there was didn't stick to them. They tasted a bit underdone and floury. I am a pizza snob. I said it. Gambinos and VIP are the best places to get a pie in the south Grand Lake area. I do love the sauce at Gambinos. It's good for dipping cheese sticks into, too (and happily, they give you 3 things of sauce when you order cheese sticks!). The crust is that good, fold-over type crust. I like to order the plain cheese pie and then put stuff on it at home, like tomatoes or (gasp) mango slices. No joke! It's good! One time, I had a mission from my best friend's dad to deliver a bottle of tequila to the owner at Gambinos. People complain about him, but I think if you bring him booze you should be ok. :-) read more

The pizza is decent for the area, but the best pizza on Grand Lake is the original pizza made at The Shebang on Monkey Island. Best Pizza and Salad bar for lunch that I've ever been to. The pizza is as good as it gets. the place gets busy at lunch time, so go early... 11 am or so to get a seat. The salad is fresh and even offers cottage cheese and tabouli. You get a great deal for lunch. Dinner is a little pricey, but the pizza is worth it. read more

This is by far my favorite pizza place in the world. We have ate at many high end and low end joints and this one takes the cake. I remember years ago when they had one in vinita and I really miss that. It was so long till I could come eat at the one in Ketchum until I switched jobs to the grand lake area. I'm so happy now lol. They run monthly specials and email me different deals. But the best deal is the buffet. Man for less than $7 with a drink you can eat so much it hurts. Keep up the good work yall. Great customer service and pretty good food too. I wasn't a big fan of the pizza crust flavor but the bread sticks and pasta were amazing! I also ordered the cherry pie which was good too. If only it were a different crust than the pizza. It made it soggy but still the filling was yum! My kids on the other hand loved every bite and prefer this pizza joint to the other less satisfactory options in the area. I will definitely order from here again. read more
