Premade or not, it forms an excellent base for the pie. This is not NY style pizza, so save your bitchin' for someone who cares. It is packed with meat, veggies and cheese. We had leftovers. Still tasty, cold from the refrigerator the next day. Big comfortable deck with picnic tables for outside dining. Nice view of the cove. I wanted to like this place, but I can't because well I'm 43 and clearly look 43 and everyone I was with did NOT get ID'd!!!! I repeat DID NOT GET ID'D!!!!! ONLY I GOT ID'D and I'm not mad about that it's a little flattering, but they sent us to this different area and dogs were NOT allowed and of course we had our fur baby with us, then we went ahead and ordered our pizza just to find out it's gonna be an hour before we can even get our pizza and go about our own business..... So needless to say I WILL NOT EVER BE BACK!!!!! My family I'm with will NEVER come back and that sucks because I hear from a LOT of locals that this is a great place, but unfortunately I did NOT have that experience!!!!! Wonderful spot! The food was excellent, and we sat on the patio for lunch and had a pretty nice view. It's next to a marina so we took a walk down there after and saw some turtles, fun for my son. Service was excellent and the pizza was great. They have cauliflower and gluten free crust options which meant I could enjoy it too! Love it when a good local spot has some options! We had a veggie, cheese, and the BBQ chicken pizza (GF crust for that one). Everyone loved it. I've never seen my 4 year old eat so much pizza! We will be back! read more

Another restaurant that benefits from its surroundings. A frozen pizza would be delicious dockside at Grand Lake. But, the pizza here is better than reheated frozen pizza. Beer selection is minimal. Deck is nice and there's TVs for watching the game. (We visited earlier this fall so I'm not sure what the off-season hours are.) Good lake eating spot. read more

Great food, handmade crust with perfect amount of sauce and they don't skimp on the toppings. Quality ingredients, excellent service, and they are right on the lake. Excellent outdoor seating, but limited indoor seating; however, we didn't go for indoor seating so that was just fine for us! A wonderful experience, and certainly plan to visit again when we are at grand lake! PS: I'm gluten free and they have a gluten-free crust and a cauliflower crust; try the gluten-free crust and will probably try cauliflower next time! They are definitely doing it right! read more

This is our first time to the Grand Lake area. We decided to try this place out based on the location on the water. We ordered pizza rolls (basically pepperoni pizza pinwheels). They came out on foil that they had been cooked on and it was quite obvious that they forgot to put oil on the foil. This left us picking foil off of the food and you lost half the cheese because it stuck to the foil. We advised waitress and she said "yeah, they have been doing that all day. I don't know why". We ended up leaving half of them because they just fell apart trying to pull foil off. Then we ordered the white pizza, add mushrooms. The pizza arrived with no mushrooms. When we pointed it out, the waitress said she was sorry about that and she would make sure that we weren't charged for the mushroom add on. The pizza was okay. I would call it average. The Alfredo sauce was pretty bland. No real offer to try to make it a better experience. Brought us the bill and made sure to point out again that they didn't charge for the mushrooms. VIP used to be the best pizza, it was stuffed with toppings yet tonight the amount of toppings was disappointing. It was still quite tasty and I recommend the spinach chicken pizza with white sauce but all are good. We arrived for dinner and they were slammed. They said it would be an hour and a half to get our food. We ordered at the counter as there wasn't a table yet. The credit card machine would not process my credit card. I payed with cash. Fifteen minutes later I got a call from my credit cards fraud alert over this charge-that was really weird. We found a table and received our pizza in 45 minutes. No one offered us beverages, and at the end of the meal we finally found a waitress to bring us water. It was crazy busy, the view of the water gorgeous, and the deck with fans was actually delightful. The counter girl was a little slow and not helpful but we did get the correct order. read more

This is some of the best pizza you will find, not only at Grand Lake but anywhere. A friend recommended this place to us a few years back, and we come here every weekend. The pizza is absolutely incredible, the service is good, and the Sharkeez bar that is attached has a fun outdoor atmosphere. It's the perfect summer eatery / hangout. They also have live music on weekends which is really good. All that said, if you don't come for anything else, come for the pizza. I cannot express enough how amazing the pizza is. Would not recommend this pizza joint. Pizzas ere substandard with a bitter sauce and service is non existent. Save your money.

Pizza while not the same quality as Gambino's down the street is not bad in a pinch when you're on the lake and hungry. The problem is with the in attentive staff. Especially the manager who exhibits an arrogant attitude whilst allowing the staff to stand around aimlessly. A little more customer focus could go a long way. Unless I'm on the water I'll certainly make my way to Gambino's. read more

The worst service I have ever had in my life! I walked in when no one was there and when I checked in on where my pizza was 45 min into it they said my pizza was still 45 Min out!!!! We go here probably once a week, by boat or by car. Either way, parking is easy. Really good bleu cheese dressing on the salad; breadsticks are great; pizza is also good and some of the specialty pies are a good change-up once in a while. Ali the server is the best.
