SO DISAPPOINTED! I go here several times throughout the year to have my car cleaned; but today was the last time. I had some items taken from my car, one being my wireless ear piece. I always stow away my items so that it's easy for the guys to clean and wipe down my surfaces and I have never had an issue. But today someone actually went through my car and took some things. Sadly I did not realize it until I was 15 minutes down the road when I went to take all of my items back out. Service here is awful! I've gone there several times to give them a chance but nothing has changed! The wash is mediocre; dirt and salt was still on the car. I ALWAYS get out and walk around to look at the work because they ALWAYS do a half way job. Today was my last time I will go there. I just paid $35 for a wax and car wash - supposed to be the works. I get my car and it's still has dirt on it and looks like a regular wash. I asked where's the wax and the woman tells me the machine sprayed it when I drove through....for real? I just paid $35 for their machine to dump wax on my car - DO NOT EVER go here - it's a scam!!!!! They said clean door jams, not! Also, I paid for a scent and there was no scent! Scam! read more

Came here twice. The first time it was busy but they did a great job on my Subaru. I asked if they could accommodate my new Titan XD and they told me they could, so I brought it the next day. The apparatus did about $500 worth of damage to my truck cap. I had to chase down attendants to turn off the line as metal pieces of my truck cap were dangling from the equipment and threatening other cars. No one was watching - had to get the cashier to find someone to turn it off! Working with the corporate office now to settle damages. Took a while, but the corporate office eventually reimbursed me for the damage to my vehicle. read more

Say what you will about the quality of work but I find that these folks are friendly and fast which for me is more important than every nook and cranny being spotless. It's pretty understandable since it isn't their car and I can certainly do some detail with a soft cloth after they do the heavy lifting saving me hours of cleaning a week. This place needs to closed its doors! I wish I didn't have to give them any stars. First and foremost let me say I can't believe how this place treats its loyal customers. I had been patronizing this place for over a year, taking my three cars there almost religiously. One day I took my Chevy Silverado which didn't have a scratch on it to this place and ended up with a scratched hood, busted head light and dented fender. The damage was on the passenger side so I didn't see it before I left. I discovered the damage a day or two later because I don't drive this vehicle everyday. I contacted the car wash and they had me run around and get estimates and when I submitted them them blew me off. After a week of being left to hang J spoke to the corporate office and told them what happened and they blew me off as well. I was forced to go through my insurance and pay out of pocket to get my vehicle repaired. I will be taking my money and my vehicles somewhere else from now on. I decided to wait until I went a 2nd time to leave a review. I like that the staff is friendly and fast, but, they sacrifice quality over time. I understand u can't get every nook and cranny but obvious spots, like the enter back of my car? All of needs is a good scrub with a sponge and it's off. They just want to get you in and out. I purchased a $30 package and when I got back into my car, I noticed they didn't even wipe off the dashboard. I'm a monthly member @ the auto spa . The staff here is friendly & professional. They always greets me with a smile. They take great care of me and my daughter car as well. They have things for the kids, crayons and coloring books. They also have great seating inside along w juice, coffee and water. The kids can even squirt the cars as they go through the wash so if you are in the area stop past and give them a try. read more

Rebecah, the manager at the auto spa took such good care of me AND my car. It was a busy day and my car died after it had received the full platinum package. My car was jamming up a very busy line! Rebecah was cool, calm and collected and she and several others pushed my car out of the lane into a safe spot where the tow truck driver picked it up. I greatly appreciated the help and kindness. I paid the monthly fee and I often come here about 4/5 times a week. People here are very friendly and they remember my name. Check out the fish tank and you will find a nemo there. They have K-cup coffee available for you as well. I mean it is a convenient spot and I have no complaints. If I want a full detailing, I would have paid a package for it. I thought this place was great until after I inspected the car to make sure they did a good job. I got the $50 membership. I also paid extra money for them to vacuum my console and clean the doors but it looked like they didn't even touch it. Plus they got wax on my front bumper which took forever to get off. That was my first experience, so I thought maybe next time they'll do s better job. I was wrong. After the second time of trying them, I still had a lot of marks on my hood. I asked the guy to clean it off and the manager comes over to tell me it's "bug marks" and if I pay a extra $10 they can get it off!! It wasn't bugs, it was wax. Never again. I'm canceling that membership ASAP! They may have long lines that make you think theyre good and a nice waiting area but trust me they are not. read more

I have visited the Gambrills Auto Spa approximately twice in the past two years with my 2007 Toyota Camry. The first time I went I thought that my car was basically washed well enough and that the interior was vacuumed and wiped down satisfactorily to get surface dust and dirt removed; the type of dust that accumulates over a few weeks in a car from infrequent weekly driving. At the time, I did not believe based on this satisfactory/average experience that it warranted as much as I paid (approximately $20.00 and tip) but, I was in a hurry and believed that I paid what was fair for the convenience gained. Customer service appeared to me to be lacking in my experience. Evidence of this presented itself in that I waited approximately 15 minutes after my car had been completed for someone to conclude it was finished so that I could leave. During that time it was most frustrating to me that aside from the cashier, none of the employees spoke English well enough for me to inquire about my vehicle. I have absolutely no problem with anyone who is trying to learn or who has a limited English vocabulary, however regarding interfacing in a customer service oriented position I think it really should be a requirement that a person have a basic grasp of the language. This brings me to my challenge today when I for a second time decided to visit the Gambrills Auto Spa. I purchased the $22.00/#4 Wash which includes an interior wipe down of all surfaces, vacuum and fragrance as well as an exterior wash, tire shine and hand dry. If I were to rate my experience today based on the following "reasonable" criteria I would give Gambrills Auto Spa a "D" on a scale of A,B,C,D and E. Customer Service Exterior Wash Interior Cleaning In short, my vehicle and any vehicle that goes into the Gambrills Auto Spa for a service should come out cleaner then it went in prior to paying for service. My feedback here isn't to address a "degree" of cleanliness, but rather a total "failure" to "deliver" the "service" as advertised for which I "paid." After concluding that my car was ready today for me to leave Gambrills Auto Spa I approached my vehicle and noticed surface scratches on the rear of my bumper. In the interest of complete honesty these surface scratches were not on my rear bumper prior to my experience today. My car, a 2007 Toyota Camry (approx. 62,000 miles) is driven very little and as evidenced by the low mileage. The car's interior is very clean and the exterior free from structural damage of any type. As I continued my short jaunt to the driver's side of the car, now more suspicious, paying close attention to the inside front and back seats, I noticed a large (the size of a soccer ball) black-brown marking on the rear passenger seat and then another on the passenger seat, and then another on the driver's seat and then on the floor board that runs along the driver's side door opening and then a small black-brown spot the size of tangerine on the carpet near the driver's side floor mat. This entire process took about 30 to 45 seconds to recognize. At that point, I turned to the approximately five to six men who were wiping down another vehicle (and coincidently appeared to be the only personnel in sight) and asked if someone could help me and explained that I needed a towel. To this the men mumbled in a language that was not English and that I did not understand and proceed to giggle and continued wiping down the car they were working on. I did not see anyone else except a cashier inside through the glass who was cashiering with customers so I attempted to convey my frustration this time, "Hey, my car is a mess and I need a towel or one of you to please address this." Only this time one of the men approached and replied, "Okay, honey" in what can only be described as insulting and patronizing (I do not prefer to be addressed in that way, nor is it professional/polite). I did not address my frustration with being addressed in such an unprofessional manner, instead focusing on the challenge at hand and began simply pointing out the various large marks on the interior of my car. In response the man began wiping the marks, all the while offering no explanation and or apology for the damage to my leather and inconvenience to me generally. It was during this process that a few of the other men approached the vehicle after witnessing their co-worker actively wiping down my car and seemingly began to argue (I reasonably inferred this because of the finger pointing, loud tone and negative facial expressions used). Again, I was at a loss regarding customer service as the men had this entire exchange around me as if I were not present and in a language I did not understand. Ultimately, the wiping concluded and the spots were removed in some areas, lightened in others and I left with my interior carpet stain, scratched bumper and my wallet $22.00 lighter. read more

First time I went here it was awesome! I like the oil change part of this business so I thought I would also try their car wash. Second time, not so lucky. I asked the guy who was wiping my car down to get rid of a little piece of magnet that was stuck to my car. I had taken off a hockey magnet about a month prior and this little piece was stubborn and wouldn't come off. I have a black Lexus SUV and didn't want to risk scratching the paint. I was sitting in the waiting room and I noticed my car wasn't in the bay area anymore so I looked and noticed it was done and was just sitting completed unattended. That was kind of irritating - it would be better customer service if there was someone announcing when your car is done. Well, first thing I do is check the back of my truck to check out the magnet and to my dismay it looked like he had literally gouged the back end with a screw driver!! Several deep white gouge marks that you could feel with your fingers. I was livid! When the assistant manager came by, she acted like it was a bother and only said sorry begrudgingly at the end when she wrote up a dispute ticket. She also tried to blame me for the gouge marks and say it was there before the car wash. I ended up having to follow up with them a few times before they finally sent me to a local place to fix my car. I also had to get a rental car for a few days while they fixed it. I made them pay it all in full. But overall was a horrible experience. Would not recommend going there at all. read more

not worth $37 bucks I was there this morning its a Tuesday full Sun hasn't rained in days , i was third in line, check in girl had a little attitude as if i was unconvincing her, moved to next area guy looks at ticket sprays car with power washer type device ( if you have magnets stickers remove them this guy sprayed car in front of mine didn't even blink when he spared the magnets off the car in it) went threw tunnel waited till told what to do guy walked over painted to go into garage got out of car went inside to pay no one there .. waited to pay , sat down they called number went to car , this all took 35min sorry not worth it 35min to wash a car poorly the car still was dirty i don't have to time to wait another 35 min to have them clean it properly , get more staff or get better staff maybe this is what you get in to county but sorry not worth it would have been better to stop at gas station get 20cent off a gallon and a better clean for the $ don't recommend , will try the car was in millerville next time see how they are if not then i go to gas station read more

Im a car wash a quarter type of woman so I enjoy coming to this place. I enjoy the oil change side even more. The staff is super friendly and informative but dont try to push extra purchases. The waiting areas are high post for a car and lube shop so that's a plus. I like the extra touch for kids -crayons, coloring books abd bubbles. 2 weeks ago my wife took her 2009 Dodge Journey to the Gambrills auto spa in Gambrills, Md because her car was not generating any heat. When we picked up her car, the heater still did not work. We took it back and they repaired it at no charge. Now two weeks later, my wife is driving home from her night shift at Joint Base Andrews and her car starts to produce smoke and she stated her thermometer needle shot up to the "H" for hot. She drove the car to the nearest parking lot and contacted me before I went to work. After getting the car back to the shop they stated the issue had nothing to do with whatever they did and it was going to cost an additional $500.00! Before this everything was working fine except for the heat now after we took the car in all of a sudden these problems arise. Management, if you want to call them that, was being a smart ass to my wife when he called back stating: "Ms. this is your car not mine".This is not the first time this company has tried to get over on us. It was supposed to be under warranty and they will not honor it. Since they would not help us and corporate will not answer their phone (s), this was sent to News4/consumerhelp. read more

This place is amazing!! I have a brand new black camaro. The paint sucks on these cars. I had it a week and was hit by a jeep. After being in the shop for two months the auto shop returned it with unsightly swirls all over the car. I took my car here and the employees were all extremely nice and polite and buffed all the swirls out, cleaned The interior and a deluxe wash and wax for a great price. I love these people! My car looks amazing again. They even buffed out some deep scratch that was on he car brand new from the dealership that the dealership couldn't even fix!! read more

I love this place! Good service, multiple packages available and a clean waiting area. All i can recommend is dont go on a friday because of course everyone is getting their car all pretty for the weekend! So go early or during lunch if you work close by or be prepared to wait or go early saturday morning or late thursday! This place has a bad work ethic. I went there the Saturday before Memorial Day and they told me the person who does the inside of the car was on vacation because it was a holiday (the holiday is actually Monday.) I went back again today (nowhere close to a holiday) and they were closed due to weather. There was no weather. My windshield was dry. There was a forecast of light wintry mix but that's all. I love this place! I purchased their groupon some time ago for my hubby and saw what a great job they did. I avoided going myself because I know the prices are on the high side, but eventually I stopped in with a coupon (they have them out all the time!) and loved the results. I go maybe every other month with a coupon and the loyalty club card during a weekday morning when I know it will be slow. They have always been fast and courteous. Last time I got their and realized I forgot my loyalty card but the woman knew my name and it was no problem! The lounge waiting area is quite and nice with free beverages. Yeah, the prices are a little high, but I love the results and it is worth the service and quality every now and then. read more

Was very skeptical by reading some of the reviews. We took our Durango for a test and overall they did a pretty good job. A few water spots and the back wasn't 100% vacuumed (still had some dog hair remaining) but over all, for the $20 we paid (The Ultimate wash w/ $4 coupon) it was a pretty god value. I have been a long time customer and even a member at one time. I have noticed a decline over time and it is extremely disappointing. I had a car wash last week and the interior was horrible my cup holders were not cleaned the exterior was covered with spots and I was told that even though I had a little scuff on my interior door that they won't wipe doors.
