They definitely do participate in price gouging their customers. Unfortunately that is pretty normal for the industry. They have an ok selection of rares and a poor following for magic so if you come in at the beginning of a set there is a decent chance of you being able to buy the singles you are looking for. This store is near by, so why not, right seem simple. My list for Christmas was short for this store. However, I had question about the products as I know little about art and such. I got to the store the parking lot was lightly occupied. So no so busy. Once I got into the store it seem that most of the cars were other shoppers at other retailers. As I only saw maybe 10 people total inside (not including employees). I went to the art section where they had a variety of product to choose from. I looked for help with ZERO luck. Guessing I got the right one's I move on to the next idem. which I couldn't find. I finally found someone, politely ask where this product was at. In return, I get an eye roll a sigh and a lazy pint and "it's on the back wall over there." Then she walks away like my question and the fact me being there was OMG putting her out. Bottom line here is, you better know what your after, and don't expect any help what so ever at this store and if you do get help you'll get attitude. My only good experience was at checkout, where the checker was nice and pleasant, but was only going through the motions. You could tell she was counting down till break or going home.

Michaels had all the supplies that we needed and we were able to purchase them online, then pick up from the store. The location of the store is very convenient-right near lots of other retail and restaurants. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. My wife went in to the store with our order confirmation and was able to pick up our art supplies in no time. I went there to drop off a package and I was treated like a was a nuisance …read more The first employee was already annoyed when I came in and told me to go to a different area of the store to be assisted , which was the "greeting " I received . Once I brought my package to the counter , a lady randomly showed up from the side as the counter was empty and she was not in there to start with . I asked her if I could pay to print a label and she looks at me like I'm crazy and says no . I asked her if they have any tape to help me seal the box and she frowns and says she doesn't know . She then proceeded to refer me to an office store across the street that was closed ‍ I did myself a favor and changed part of town . I won't be returning to Michael's for any UPS needs for sure . If you look at people like they're landing from mars over printing a label or needing some tape, you have no business shipping or receiving anything . Yikes .
