Dana the event coordinator was fantastic to work with and provided recommendations for seating arrangements, catering, and linens. She was awesome and incredibly responsive. The day of the party was 90 degrees but that didn't stop the fun. The place has great AC. We had 9 kids under the age of 5 running around - let me tell you, they had a blast. They just did an overhaul of the hall, nice hardwood floors, the kitchen has all new appliances & the bathrooms were updated. There is a stage for a band or DJ to set up, they also have an elevator so it is handicap accessible, another bonus! They also rent by the day, not in blocks of 4 or 5 hours, which is also Great! You get the hall from 10am til 1am, which is convenient for setting up, cooking, cleaning up, etc. The price isn't bad for a hall rental either, I booked the hall at the last minute & to my surprise it was available, which again was Great! Highly recommend to anyone having a small party of 100. The only drawback are the steps, there's about 20 of them leading up to the door, but there's always the elevator!

I purchased the tickets ahead which was pricey but overall worth it! The tickets included admittance to the three attractions which were the haunted house, hayride and the corn maze. My fav was the corn maze, the actors did a good job with jumping out at random moments. I definetly got a good scare or two lol! My only gripe was the long lines, each attraction took about 40 minutes to enter due to the long lines. At the end we got cinnamon sugar donuts which were hot and delicious!

while i'm not a member of the springhaven club, the owners of my company are, so i have been…read moreattending special work events here for the past eight and a half years. i can't speak to cost since all of my experiences here have been on the company dime (holla!) but from a guest's point of view, this place is pretty great...at least by delco standards. from lunchtime bridal & baby showers in the restaurant to an infamously awesome holiday party in the grand ballroom, all of my springhaven experiences have been top-notch. the food, both off the menu and at the catered events, is nothing mind-blowing, but tasty and with enough veggie options to keep me happy. the staff is always friendly and on the ball. just one "sorry, the tuna tartare looks delish, but i don't eat meat" and the waiters beeline for me when they have trays of vegetarian hors d'oeuvres for the taking. hit up the bar just once and they know your drink of choice all nite. hit up the bar just one nite a year, year after year, and they have your drink poured for you before you even get to the bar. at least in my experience... my only gripe with the springhaven is the decor, which could benefit from a makeover. um hi, the eighties called; they want their wallpaper back.

And the disco ball and built in light show was a welcome bonus - All of it was included with the room fee of $ 400. - a true value, since we didn't need a D.J. - all the music came off our ipod - through their system.
