In my one visit to this store I rode a Ferris wheel, played bowling, and browsed the largest arsenal of firearms I've ever seen. That alone made my day, but I'm not done yet. This place has more bikes and skateboards than Alpine Ski Shop. Their camping section is larger than Dick's and Cabela's combined. The clothing department is chock full of everything that one would want to pull over their skin. I haven't even mentioned that their prices are average to cheap! Heck, even the employees are kind and helpful!There's literally nothing I can complain about, because I've never experienced anything that compares to Scheels. I literally cried when I walked into this place, because it fulfilled everything my hopes and dreams could possibly muster. But I was able to find one pair of super comfortable shorts for $69 which was high but worth it. I also learned that they have a 1 year policy which is very rare these days. Title Nine is a store I would high recommend to anyone looking for unique outdoor sportswear.

The store claims that they price match, but only price match when they feel like it. Corporate confirmed that this was incorrect along with not being able to try on the shoe. I originally called to confirm availability of a shoe but when I got there, it was like I never called. Overall I wasted my time and energy dealing with this store. I have priced matched different items before and never had an issue but the young lady who was at the register decided to not honor it. Again, I called corporate to confirm the rules and they sided with me and even offered to do it over the phone for me. I am still confused about the not trying the shoe on rule when I've tried on shoes before with no issues. If you're worried about theft, you should probably only give the left shoe to try on and keep the other one behind the counter. Also, it wasn't like the store was busy as I was the only person in line so you could've moved me to the side and let me try on one shoe. Either way, it wasn't an incorrect way to handle the situation because I felt like it was a special rule for certain people. I ended up ordering the shoes on Nike for cheaper but I don't like the way I treated and talked to.

Unfortunately, most sporting goods places only have jerseys and hoodies in mens sizes, rarely womens sizes and never in childrens sizes. Boo. Mens shirts never looks quite right on me so I passed on the nice selection of t-shirts and focused on bumper stickers and knick knacks I did not yet have. I was helped out immediately and with the salespersons help, I narrowed down all the Bears items and concluded that I owned pretty much everything I saw-including the vinyl adhesive for the back window of my car. I did find a replacement keychain lanyard that I hadn't seen in awhile of course I snatched that up. My only gripe about this place is that they don't carry womens jersey sizes or kids sizes at least. Women and kids are football fans too!

Unfortunately we had a very negative experience this morning at Dick's. I was administering a…read morepublic access test for two US Veterans and their service dogs in training as their final step to become fully certified teams, which is a HUGE accomplishment for them. We barely got in the door and were immediately asked to leave. The employee who stopped us from entering was "Coach K" (he refused to give me his actual name). I politely explained to him that per Colorado State Law, service dogs in training were granted the same public access rights as working service dogs and I was happy to show the law on my phone. He indicated that he was aware of the law but that last week a group was in there training their dogs and one of the dogs was barking aggressively, so they decided to not allow dogs to train in the store. I informed him that that is in violation of the law and we were not training, we were testing. He said he didn't care and to take it up with corporate. After I clarified that he was really going to not allow us and our very well mannered dogs access to their store, he said we needed to leave and this was the last time he was going to say this, which implied to me that if I didn't leave he would call security or the police. Usually when we have these access issues it is due to ignorance of the law. Not just someone completely choosing to ignore the law because they feel like it. These were disabled veterans who worked hard with their dogs under the supervision of our non-profit service dog training organization for over a year and they deserve to be treated with respect and like any other customer when they are in public. I called the corporate office and filed a complaint about the store, so hopefully this issue gets resolved quickly as I plan to follow up.

After that he said that everyone has until the end of the day to pick up their pairs and the leftover would be FCFS the next morning. The Finish Line app clearly stated that reservations are only valid until 5pm. The manager needs to be fired as he took over $5,000 of shoes intended for the general public for himself to make a quick buck. Please get better management here...
