I ordered a PlayStation 4 Pro online for store pick-up. I arrive at the store to pick up my console about 10-15 minutes after they opened for the day. I walk up to the counter and I am greeted by a male associate who asks if he can help. I start to explain I am there to pick up my on-line order when a lady who I assume was the manager or at least in charge just cuts in quite aggressively with "Did you get an e-mail saying your order was ready?" To which I responded No, and start to explain it never said anything about needing to wait for an e-mail. She then just lets loose on me saying something along the lines of their computers were not talking to one another, so they did didn't have any left in stock even though it shows that they did at the time I ordered, She had no idea when they would have any more and it was my fault for not waiting on the e-mail! I would have been fine with an "I am sorry, but our computers messed up", but the way she went off on me was totally uncalled for. The tone of voice was bad enough but to then turn it around and try to blame me for not waiting on the e-mail, is just appalling! read more

I'm giving the store a five only because the person working Chris was amazing. There were at least 20 people in the store when I came in and he went out of his way to help me and my husband with a return. There was one other employee there (Jonathan) and he wasn't helping at all. Chris got through the long line and helped each customer during the process. Terrible customer service. Went in for a ps4 power cable, which on the phone I called ahead of time to see if it would be in store. However, a employee girl picked up told me very politely that they did have the cord. I said ok be there in 40 minutes. When I get there some rude nerdy manager I'm assuming greets me cutting me off that he told me over the phone that they didn't have it. I went in to trade in a console I bought from this store. Being unpracticed in consoles Trading, they set me straight. In order to trade you must have the console, with HDMI, power cord and controller. I live about 40 minutes from the store in traffic and decided to try again another day, no worries. When I do so, its days later but with everything in hand so I know its worth the trip. I also bring a controller I bought from this very store to exchange it as it is broken. I had a warranty ALSO PURCHASED THROUGH THIS STORE. See where I'm going with this? I'm told the Xbox needs an update and that they cannot do that in store. So I have to drive 40 minutes there and back over a 7 minute update at best? It powered on, you verified operation, whats the big deal? You couldn't have told me that when you mentioned everything else I lacked? When it comes time to exchange my stick however the associate put the screws to me, "Have a receipt?" "No, isn't my purchase history on file? "Well, I'll have to call to verify the purchase." Really, ok. Now, all the while, Danno, the stores manager had been droning on how gamestop is trying to stay competitive in an online world with some guest who seemed to me ALL TOO HAPPY TO GTFO when I began sharing my frustration with the associate. I wasn't in any way disrespectful but was clearly disappointed. I quickly understood the guests desire to leave so badly. I smelled him from 3 ft away. And I ain't talking Dolce or anything of the sort. I mean the type of man funk thats been strapped to you for days. With the offensive odor hitting me; I wasn't waiting on a phone call, I was making one of my own. To corporate. Now this is where it gets sad. I'm promised a call back from the district manager in 24hrs. After that time frame passes, I check status. They assure me that by end of business the next day, I'll have that call. I'm here to tell you, that call never came either. So, checked status again today. Guess what? I'm promised a phone call in you guessed it.. 24hrs. Needless to say, I'm done following up. They clearly dont care. Neither do I anymore. It's just easier to post the Xbox on Letgo or Clist and get more for it, my mistake for trying to keep a tradition going. Keep your 80 trade, Danno. $125 cash is much sweeter. Also, keep the stick and the warranty. I'll order from Microsoft direct next time. I recommend everyone else, do the same. read more
