Review IF I COULD CHOOSE NEGATIVE 9 MILLION STARS. I WOULD. We hired Gamer Events for my son's 6th birthday party! We paid our deposit on time. We were excited about hosting a game truck party! The kids came on time. We even had a schedule so they'd eat & sing the birthday song before the truck arrived. The email stated they'd be here 15 mins prior. I couldn't wait to take the kids out to see it roll up! However, it was going on 3 pm; no phone call nor truck. So I stepped out on the porch to make sure I booked the right day and time. I also went back to the many reminder texts that I received. I called but there was no answer and that really pissed me off! I tried again; and finally received answer. I asked the guy were they late, coming, or what because we're waiting on the truck? Needless to say, he was kind of dumbfounded about the entire thing. He thought they only had one party this weekend (and obviously that wasn't ours). He told me "they missed it on the calendar, or should I say, I missed it on the calendar". Thinking to myself, "what does that mean"??? He then says he's not going to make it unless I want him to come almost two hrs later. I had to go grab my husband and walk him outside...so he could hear it. The guy said I could come another day or be there in 2 hrs. Well, that wouldn't work for us. I had to flip the birthday party to a Super Bowl party thereafter. Hence, the reason why we scheduled the truck at a certain time.....AND my kids birthday party is TODAY, not next weekend or the day after. My husband begin to say, "that's bad for business; get our money back"! He walked off because he couldn't believe it. We had to share that no game truck was coming. We were made into complete liars today!!! Parents, you know how it is with kids!!! I asked the guy, "what should I tell my son". He literally had no words. So, I walked in and asked the adults did they want to wait on the truck? Remember: it is also a school night, so changing the time does not work. We had family and friends drive in as far as Atlanta. Anyway, they all were like why? We thought it was coming at 3? Again, I now looked crazy and foul, like I had booked a scam of a company. I'm starting to think the reviews are fake. I am so embarrassed. Had I not called...we'd still be waiting on the truck! I could not wait to write this review. My neighbors made additional arrangements for parking (their kids were excited); and were also disappointed. We asked for a refund. Moral of the story, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company because you won't know if they're going to forget you're on the schedule or actually show up! You will be taking a huge risk! After reviewing multiple company websites and reach out by phone and email, I was delighted to find Gamer Events. Their website, pre screening contacts and follow through were top notch. The dynamic duo of Kathleen and Christian created an amazing experience for our party. The equipment was top notch, new and well maintained. The staff kept the kids engaged and laughing the whole time. We went with the game truck and laser tag experience and we would do it again but excited to try some of their other offering too. While it was a little pricey, I didn't find the competition that much less. We will be using Gamer Events and I don't think you would be upset if you did either. Game On! read more

I didn't know these existed. It's an innovative and fun idea. They had every game console imaginable and were really good in helping out the kids. My personal favorite was the dancing game that was being played on HUGE Screens on the side of the truck. On top of being knowledgeable about the technology, the staff was great with kids and super kind. I 100% recommend Gamer Events for a novel party idea. read more
