CJ was easy to reach and responsive to all of my questions. Based on my research of many game trucks, his pricing was on par with industry standards, plus he didn't nickel and dime us with added fees like another company tried to (travel fees, parking inside of a park, online games, providing a copy of insurance, etc). It was just a straightforward pricing structure with CJ which we really appreciated. He was also very willing to help accommodate our request of not allowing the kids to play Grand Theft Auto or other overtly violent/mature games. He arrived about 10 or so minutes early to set up and be ready by our contracted time and gave us a heads-up about 15-20 minutes before it was time to wrap it up so we could give a last call to those not currently playing (we had over 20 kids at the party). I liked that there was a Nintendo Switch and big screen TV set up outside of the trailer, as well, for those who preferred it. CJ was also great with the younger kids who don't have a lot of experience yet with video games. He patiently tried coaching them on how to play and what the controller buttons do which was really sweet! All of the kids, no matter their age or experience, had a great time, which is the most important thing. We used Gamerz Only for my daughter's 10th birthday party and it was a huge hit. With COVID restrictions, only 10 kids were allowed at one time inside the truck, but CJ did such a wonderful job of rotating the kids (we had a total of 23 kids) so that everyone got ample time playing games. Plus, there is a huge screen on the outside where kids can play (perfect for games like Let's Dance). We did the 2 hour package and it felt like the perfect amount of time. Yelp fix this issue ASAP--I would hate to see a small business suffer when legitimate reviews are left. (Original review below): We have been quarantined during COVID and wanted to celebrate our son's birthday with something simple and fun for our close family. Saw an ad on FB for this business and thought we would give them a try. The owner was very responsive, nice, and assured us of their sterilization of the equipment and employees who practice social distancing. The truck arrived in enough time to set-up, and everything was wiped down and ready for our "party." The kids loved every minute; they had all the new games and the quality of the equipment was great. For any questions we had, the staff was on hand to help. I called and spoke with CJ. I assume he's the owner. I had called at least 8 places all looking to salvage my son's birthday party. He couldn't accommodate the last minute request BUT he didn't just say "sorry bye". He recommended another company that may be available and gave me their website and phone number. Such a cool video truck with indoor and outdoor screens. CJ was really great! He was the only company that was willing to park in our driveway.
