Max went around and helped each of us center our pieces properly, observed our form, and provided suggestions to correct when needed. I felt like I learned a lot with just the 4 classes. They also provide studio access every day throughout the week in between classes so that you can practice on your own schedule and finish up more pieces, which I'd recommend taking advantage of. The studio is always clean and well stocked with supplies (but you will need to get your own tools if you come during your own time). I ended up with 5 unique pieces, the beginner glazes turned out beautiful.

My wife called ahead, and they honored the offer, so it's definitely worth calling ahead if you're celebrating a birthday to see if that's an option. This time, we did the Corpse Whisperer escape room, and we loved it. We escaped with 15 minutes to spare, though we used six hints, hehe. The room was well-designed, and I'll admit it was slightly scary, so be prepared if that's not your thing. I would totally recommend trying that room or using Escape Duck if you want a fun experience. Both times I've been here, I've enjoyed the puzzles, and I think this is one of the best escape room locations I've visited.

It was very obvious that Chef Alex had conducted multiple corporate team building events as well as being a skilled/seasoned chef. We had 22 people for our team building event and there was plenty of space for us to each have our own cooking stations (teams of two) and there was ample seating for all of us to enjoy the fruits of our labors after the cooking was completed. We prepared thai food for our event and, WOW, was it amazing. I mean (literally), this was the best thai food that I'd ever had and this is coming from someone who's wife says "you eat way too much thai food!" The very tasty food is a testament to how well run this place is because we are just a bunch of accountants but we also apparently have an inner self that knows how to cook thai food. Overall, this place is clean, fun, there is ample parking and I would highly recommend. If this place wasn't so far from me, I'd definitely go back on a date night with my wife.

Chef Alex was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly accommodating, especially with our very last-minute booking request (less than a week's notice). Throughout the entire event, he was patient, kind, and engaging with the boys. He took the time to guide them at each cooking station, clearly explaining what to do and then letting them take over and experience it hands-on. He created a really fun, relaxed environment where the kids felt confident and involved. We all trusted the process, and the food turned out fantastic--but even more than that, the boys had a blast doing it. It was the perfect mix of learning, teamwork, and fun. I would highly recommend this experience for any team-building event, youth sports team, or even private parties like birthdays. It's interactive, memorable, and really well-run. She was thoughtful and showed up early so we could use the kitchen and bar area to set up our appetizers and drinks. She set up the art stations while we drank and ate. Later she lead the class while also taking candid photos of our group. She took her time explaining the process and checking in to make sure we were all following along. Aja was fun and entertaining. She took various groups shots always paying great attention to detail. This was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely book again. We were the only party at the time, she laid out all the art to choose from. The space was clean and large enough to accommodate my 10 group and plenty of space to walk around. There were couches and kitchen area with a small refrigerator. Overall the space was a 10. Experience a 10. And instruction a 10.

Given there's no food here but the second floor of the mall has a great selection of quick food. My daughter made a water bottle with icing and some charms and I made a bear. I just didn't know that mine would take a week to dry I was joking about it but it was actually true. The girls who work here were very nice. I came on a Sunday to pick it up and the whole mall is packed so I might try to come in during the week. When I came in it was just my daughter and I. I was actually surprised at the size of the crowd Monday, very well attended. For those new to Santa Anita go to the Frontrunner for a restaurant experience overlooking the stretch run. Serious horse players go to the "Room" - it's next to the Chandelier room. Used to be called the Sports Book but now it's just unnamed. The clubhouse side has outdoors table seating just past the finish line. Plenty of bars and food venues throughout for those so like to walk around and visit the paddock and walking ring. Peacocks walking around. An experience I will cherish for ever. On race day, there were rides, food, beer, and just a good vibe that would make anyone come back again. Sure it was hot!
