I've been coming here for three years and have never had a complaint until today. I went to exchange a faulty uncharted 4 copy that they sold me and instead of replacing it like usually the guy there said that the only thing I could do is sell it to the and buy a new copy( using words and a tone of voice that insinuated that I was trying to cheat or rob them in some sort of way, having no need to be scamming stores into giving me free stuff this^ is insulting ) so now after having payed 60 dollars for an unplayable game I had to pay an extra 40 to get a playable copy and I thought alright maybe it's my fault that I didn't exchange it right away. Afterwards I'm about to pay and he asks for my I.D., I'm 24 and usually this isn't a big deal but after being treated like I'm stupid, like a scammer and a lier now I was being treated like a teenager. Clearly this guy had a problem with me so I didn't buy anything from him and will never be returning after 3 years of being a usual customer. By the way I later went to another GameStop where they actually new what they were doing and they gave me another copy no questions asked. read more

I don't like going into game stores because I feel like the customer service is horrible due to many younger employees who are screwing off instead of helping customers. I understand it must be a little fun to work for an entertainment type company where most customers are laid back and easy going gamers but you are still at work, not having fun on your own free time. I like this location because I get good service from very nice employees. I would recommend Mitch if you have any questions or need help at this location in Burnsville. He is the best employee that's helped me at any GameStop location around the twin cities. Clean store and everything was alphabetical and in order perfectly. read more

Nothing but great service, and better people!! Frequent this place. Been coming here for about 4 years since I've moved to Burnsville, because I quite enjoy video games. And while the prices are a tiny bit pricier than its competitors they definitely provide knowledge, and the stuff needed to service my needs! Mitch is also awesome!! read more
