I always have a good experience when I visit this Gamestop. The store is kept in good order and the staff are helpful and not too pushy with upsells like other stores. They are also very knowledgeable about what's going on in the game industry. They have cool geek and gamer stuff in addition to games and consoles. I like how they ensure you get the best deal possible and are patient with you no matter how complex your transaction is. I am glad this is my hometown Gamestop. read more

I'm done with this place...forever. Bought a PS3 game last week for $19.50, and played it about an hour or so. Decided to bring it back and trade it in for something else...they offered $1.50 as a trade in value. Yes, one dollar and fifty cents. The game went right back on the shelf at $19.50, for the next moron to buy. Sorry, but when your sole purpose in business is to completely rip people off....you lose me as a customer. Gamestop, I know you need to make a profit...and by all means please do.....but is it really fair to mark stuff up 1200%? Bought the new Lego Avegers game for my son, and used my $1.50 credit towards the $49.99 retail price (hope you can sense my sarcasm) Reserved it ahead of time, and got some special 'Super Pak' code as part of my purchase. Got home, entered the code.....and guess what? Didn't work. Called the store, asked about the issue...and was told it is a 'game developer' problem...and that they hoped it would eventually be fixed. Please look at ALL of my reviews because I mostly give out five stars on reviews. I was recently at this store to purchase a new phone. They recently became a Cricket location to buy new phones and get them activated. I went to this location because I didn't want to drive all the way to Arapahoe at the Denver Cricket location. The guy who helped me was very nice and friendly when we walked in the store. When I was purchasing the phone he told me they charge a $25 dollar fee on top of the price of the phone. I agreed and was happy to pay it because I was thinking I was going to get help setting it up and I didn't have to drive to Denver. NOT THE STORY!!! Right after I paid for the phone he turned it on, started the DOWN LOAD process and pushed me out the store. He had other people in the store and didn't want to bother with me ANYMORE. I had NO idea that by leaving the store my information that was being downloaded to my phone was going to be at risk. I lost all of my contacts because he put my sim card in UPSIDE DOWN and I lost internet connection. I have two businesses and I LOST MY CONTACTS!!!!!!! Thanks A LOT GAMESTOP! The worst service. The past three times we have gone here there has been an issue AND poor service. First we were wrongly advised on a Nintendo 2DS we bought, then I was told a certain game would work on an XBOX ONE which it did not so I had to make another trip to return it. Then today my son accidentally knocked down a shelf and the employee was incredibly rude about it. We were looking to buy a Nintendo Switch. (FYI, I have *never* written a one-star review, ever. First one, peeps) The first part of my criticism is with GameStop's policies in general, and the second part is with the store in particular. So GameStop's batting 1000 with me, which is why they only got 1 star. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Also note that this is only a criticism of the people and the policies, not the hardware itself. I will say that we have always had good luck with GameStop refurbished hardware. I haven't experienced any issues with their refurbished consoles, and we've purchased several. We placed a hold on a console during a Cyber Monday sale through the GameStop website. When the e-mail confirmation came in, it did say that product prices can change during the course of the hold, so you should try to get in same-day to pick up your hold. However, the hold is good for 24 hours. Really, GameStop? What kind of "hold" is that? "We'll hold the product for you, but we can't hold the price." Stupidest thing I've ever heard of. We placed the hold at 8:41 PM, and the store closes at 9. I live 31 miles away. That's 35 to 40 minutes, with the lightest traffic. There's no way I'm making it there same-day. You'd think the website would put a massive splash in your face that warns you that the prices are not held, not a tiny blurb in an email confirmation. Especially when the sale is ending and they *know* the price is changing! But please GameStop, don't make it easy on us or anything. Stupid. Sadly, my wife missed that memo in the confirmation (it's not hard to miss). And perhaps she wouldn't have held the console in the first place and WASTED HER TIME had the WEBSITE mentioned this instead of the CONFIRMATION E-MAIL. So she arrives at the store the next day (mid-morning), and she tells one of the employees that she held a console through the website. "Oh, it's sold," he says. "What?" she says. "I had a hold on that console!" She shows him the confirmation email. He goes and checks. "It's there, but I can't honor that price because that sale ended. You only had until the end of the business day to pick that console up to get that price." She's totally shocked at this point. "WHAT? There was no way I could make it to the store the same day! I live too far away! What's the point of putting a hold on an item if you can't get it at that price? I couldn't even make it to the store the same day, but your website let me hold it anyway!" He says, "Sorry, but I can't adjust the price more than $10. Only my manager can do that." "Is he here?" "No." "When does he get back?" "Tomorrow." So not only could they not honor the price because of GameStop policies, but there was NO ONE in the store who could actually fix the problem! I went to the GameStop website to try to tell them about it. I went to their "Contact Us" section, where (unsurprising) a form was presented (no e-mail address, no number to call). I tried to fill in the form, writing my concerns in the box that says "Give us as much detail as you can so we can properly address your problem." Except the field only accepts 250 characters. Meh. I'm a PowerUp Rewards Pro member. I'll still buy and trade games with them, but I'm done with hardware. Finito. I'll pay more at Best Buy before I buy another console from GameStop. Word to the wise: steer clear of GameStop for hardware. read more

I used to enjoy nothing more than shopping this specific store. I've been shopping there since the place was built. I was friends with the staff even with the high turn over. I was there for almost every preorder midnight releases. Then my negative experience started... the XBOX Series X pre order. I showed up and stood in line I was like #8 out of 15 people. They came out and said they only had 5 consoles to pre order. The employee assured us we would go on the list and would be called in order as more became available... fast forward a couple months. Never heard anything, so I stopped by to ask about the list and status. I was informed that the way they "dropped" the consoles it was impossible to follow the lists. How?!? Pretty Freaking easy "we got 2 more consoles... call the first and second person on the list"; And so on as people either passed or more came in. However I have a feeling that list was BS and they actually got more than that in and the employees did what everyone has accused them of, bought the consoles to scalp them. I'm greatly disappointed and sad to see them turn their backs on customers who are helping them scrape by and try to keep doors open. Sadly this type of treatment will just push people to spend their money elsewhere... this store has lost a long time customer today and will not receive another cent from me. And the writing is on the wall and with all the stores that are closing I wouldn't be surprised if this location is doomed with the same fate and that's why they are treating customers this way and have a "could care less attitude about it" and make excuses. read more

My son has been going to this game stop for years. The staff has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. They answer all my sons questions, patiently! The used game section is well stocked. Their by back program and discount cards make them comparable to Target and Walmart. Be careful when you go, there is usually a line after school and Saturdays. read more

Place is terrible , they expect you to ask the right questions when buying headsets and controllers for your systems. Went back three times because specific controllers and headsets did not go with my Xbox one. Employees should ask questions to make sure your buying the right products not the other way around.
