My husband purchased a lousy, refurbished PlayStation 5 in late June. It has never worked properly, but since we've had family issues and life altering problems lately, we haven't made it back to the store until today. He borrowed a box from a friend so he had something to return it in. At the store, bugs crawled out of the box and they proceeded to make fun and humiliate him. Not only is this poor customer service, but it is indecent human treatment. I have already contacted corporate and will be seeking the advice of a lawyer considering that this is negatively affecting my husband's mental health. Hopefully in the future a job change may help these employees to treat people with plain human decency, but until then I would not recommend this store. Buyer definitely beware. I stopped here today to pick up a copy of Ni No Kumi for LoML - it was a late Valentine's Day present that he'd been wanting for some time. While there, I also decided to throw in a game guide as a surprise (and a surprise it was - 40 bucks, ack!). There's nothing much different that makes this GameStop stand out from any other, except that the lines are slow. I mean, slow. I mean..... S.....L.....O.....W. I think that we had been standing in line waiting to be checked out for almost 30 minutes. Now, I'm aware that it's Saturday afternoon, and it's busy - but, really, guys. There is no need to be flirting with the pretty 20-something female customer about how "hot" her character is in blah-blah game, okay? Not when you have a line that goes almost all the way out the door in the bargain. If you want to pretend that you don't live in Mom's basement while chain-drinking Pepsis and picking up "hot Internet babes", okay by me - just don't do it on my time, 'kay? I come from a world where customer service is very important. To achieve a goal, and to make sure the customer keeps coming back. When you walk into an establishment you should be greeted on entry. Even if your dealing with a customer. You acknowledge that person with. "Hello, welcome to my establishment. I will be with you shortly". That will give the customer a sign of appreciation we love our jobs, and your business. That's what brings in the bucks... Customer Service. Manager Bill did not show good customer service. This reflects his employees. Making them lack in this area. I can go on with witnessing with my own eyes not delivering good service to a family of a different race. Watch Bill delightful cater to the same race as he is. This rubs me wrong. I don't like to be touch inappropriately. From this I would not recommend this store. Thanks. I'm sorry I even have to give a rating in order to write a review , yesterday I went to buy a head set and a new controller for my son , I explained that I needed a newer controller bc the one my son has was an older one and didn't have the 3.5 mm jack or whatever it's called so I get home and I'm looking as I'm putting my sons Easter back set together and I see that the controller the guy sold as well as the head set he sold me the controller DIDNT HAVE THE 3.5 mm jack the little hole that the headphones plug into on the controller SO I had to go back wait in line as usual finally get to the register and tell the same man like hello you sold me the damn headphones and controller I'm really glad I noticed that this controller doesn't have the 3.5 mm blah blah so I get another controller , my son wakes to find the brand new head set and brand new controller totally stoked bc he had been w/o a head set for about a month so he takes it out of the box plugged the head set into the controller and NOTHING so I grabbed another head set he had gotten for Christmas plugged it in to the controller NOTHING I then had my son pull up YouTube on his cell phone and plugged the headphones into the cell and could hear so I believe it is a problem with the controller being it worked when plugged into the cell phone ! ! Had this of just been an ordinary day and NOT Easter I wouldn't be so upset there is literally one guy that works there he is African American and he is extremely kind and very knowledgeable about games , as well as the different systems and what goes with what so today when I go I'm really hoping I get him read more

me and my friend brought in a Xbox one with two controllers and 3 games i didn't want the system anymore and just started to PC game again anyways i waited 15 mins in line while the cashiers were gawking over Game art of Felicia from Dark stalkers than we were waited on so he looked at the System checked it worked great.. he checked the games and controllers all worked perfect.. than he asked cash or credit i said cash;; so he said alright cash is''180 dollars'' than i said ok'' knowing you never get a fair trade than he went into the back with the equipment than came back out and said ok cash is 80 dollars than i said 80 dollars?'' than he went on to explain how the system was dirty and the controllers were broke when he tested out in front of me and my friend. so for the sake of Argument i took the 80 and than called the BBB and called Game stop District manager and explained to him what happened he apologized and sent me a 100 dollar gift card at that point i took it and gave it to my girlfriend..
