Son had a cracked phone screen. Came to get it fixed. Was told it would take 30 minutes and it was done in the time that was mentioned. Unlike apple they do use an after market screen. And you get 90 day warranty. The price is the 110$ less than the cost is would be at apple. So 89$ was the cost which I wasn't exactly happy about but the job was done well and without a long appointment or super long wait. For 10$ more I purchased a screen protector. Tae from iFix Cell Phone Repair was a life saver. The HDMI port on my son's PS4 stopped working on a special day when he was having friends over that night. I called several repair shops closer to me and they either couldn't do the repair or would need 1-2 weeks to send it out for repair. Tae was a little further out but I emailed him before he even opened on a Saturday and he emailed me back right away. We arranged for me to drop off the PS4 before noon and he said he would have it back same day. AMAZING!!! We have looked around for a screen repair for my girlfriend since her Galaxy S6 edge plus fell on the floor and cracked. We yelped around to see who in the area could fix our phone with good reviews. I'll tell you, it's harder than its sounds. A lot of the repair guys use Chinese knock off screens and not the original Samsung product and the service is always lacking. They either treat other customer badly, are late on the order or make your phone even worse than before you dropped it in to fix in the first place. We went to Ifix store on 8160 Washington Blvd, Jessup, MD. As his reviews were very good, we tried our luck. As soon as you get in, this nice guy greets you with a smile and great attitude, we explained our issue to him and he showed us online where he will order the screen, showed us that it's a genuine Samsung screen and even show us the price that it will cost him. I was impressed since no one so far showed us exactly how they going to fix it and he did. We order the part and pay him the cost of the part, when the part came in (which took 3 days) he called us to come to the store and fix our phone. During the repair which I can tell you is an annoying job, a little piece of the back cover chipped a bit and it looked clear colored, he said that he will fix it and get a new whole back cover for free since it his responsibility and it will take a few days to order. A few days later he did call and asked us to come and get our phone fixed, honesty we kind of forgot about it since we have a phone case so you don't really see the back of the phone at all. I will definitely recommend this guy to all of my friend especially for a repair that so hard to find a good technician that you can trust (like a mechanic in my opinion). read more
