I paid for a used Nintendo Switch but became very ill and hospitalized 2 days after it arrived. Once I was physically well enough to use it, it does not allow me to add a profile. Called this store and they told me pretty much 'too bad, so sad'. They also said to report to Nintendo support where I spent total of 4 hours on the phone troubleshooting only to be finally told that the console has a ban on it. Therefore, the console with a ban on it so it cannot be used. I never have had a Nintendo account and Nintendo verified the ban belonged to someone else. I reported this store to BBB and the response was the same. Now I am $225 out. Should have gone to Best Buy. So very unhappy and BEFORE buying from GameStop check the BBB. It has over 2K complaints for fraud and poor customer service. read more

I have been to this location several times doing my walks or window browsing and an occasional buy. The store is set up like most of the Gamestop locations with social distancing measures in place so safety is no issue. The place is well kept meaning that everything is neatly placed and you can find items easily. This time on shopping/window browsing was no different in that I was looking for some great deals and they had Bogo tee shirt promo going on which I took advantage of. For people shopping for shirts for their kids or themselves, GS has clearance shirts that range from $7.00 to $14.00 and imo those are fantastic prices. I wanted to give the store rep, Adam a shout out on his friendly excellent customer service in asking if I needed help and making sure I found what I wanted for shirts. You can see his proactiveness in making sure all customers not just me are taken care of. You hear the bad things and I have had to post some unfortunately based on my experience reviews but I also want to recognize the great experiences and in the case of Adam, he represented the company in a great way with his professionalism and courtesy by being able to connect with the customer! read more

My six year old saved up a great portion of money to buy her first Nintendo switch. We spent a ton of time helping her roll coins. I sent her and her dad off with just the rolled quarters to add to the payment. My husband said she got a sweet lady who happily let my daughter apply the rolled quarters and said "anything for a first timer". Thank you for the excellent customer service Gamestop! read more

When you go into the store, you can see people talking on the phone to their friends or family and this is why you cannot get through to them to check out the merchandise or any other things going on prior to heading out to the store. After 2 weeks no refund yet then I realized that order status on the order is showing picked up. Now there's an open internal investigation and I have to wait again. read more

This a review of the Gamestop Headquarters, since I ordered online. I am so unhappy with their service I will never shop from them again. I had ordered a vertical stand for the PS4 months ago - first they said they already sent it to me when they did not, then they said they had none available whatsoever. So I was asked if I wanted a refund or to have them send me a stand once they had some available; I chose for them to send me one when they have them back in stock. Months later and nothing shows up so I call customer service only for them to tell me they already refunded my money to me. Funny thing is my bank statements show no such action, and I never authorized them to do that. I wasn't compensated for anything, instead told to just order another one online. Severely disappointed that with all the money I spend on games and gaming equipment they would steal 20 dollars for me and refuse to compensate anything. The number I called was 1-800-883-8895. Gamestop can consider themselves thieves. 0 stars for all the time I wasted trying to get that plastic stand to no avail. read more

Worst service ever. Website doesn't work, customer service if you can reach them, you need a translator to understand them because you always get India, Philippines, or Mexico. Word of advice, if you decide to outsource to other countries teach them English and give them access to more info than just looking up my account on the site because 9 out 10 times they don't have any more access than I do on the site. Waiting 45 minutes for them to answer the phone just to be told they'll get back to me tomorrow only to be forgotten is extremely annoying. Almost always your order whatever the problem is is cancelled and your left with nothing even though you preordered something months in advance. I've read so many articles where GameStop blames so many other things for them going out of business, but the simple fact is they just don't know how to run a business. Customer service comes first after your initial presentation and sales. The game NBA 2K14 is such a great game it basically sells itself. For one the graphics are unbelievable realistic, even one that doesn't play sports game is tempted to play this one. The new NBA 2K14 is complete with this year's modifications. They include a new assist pass and better improved dribbling, so you can actually control the player to the way they play in actual life. Another great aspect of the game is the real NBA stats, which perfectly corresponds with the format of the game. It also has great credible animations, from LeBron's signature dunk to Ray Allen's smirk when he nails a game-changing three, its jaw dropping. Also during the interviews the players give a strikingly impressive voice comparison and the lip syncing to the real life players. But the biggest downfall in my opinion of this game is the infrequent game glitches. For example sometimes it won't let you pass it to a certain player in clutch situations. I was also disappointed by the "LeBron Path to Greatness" mode because I thought we would be able to play in his rookie days to him now at his pinnacle. On the other hand personally my favorite aspect of the game is the "My Career" game mode. Basically you get to create your own basketball player and it starts you off from the pre-draft showcase to draft night. Then to working you were up the ranks from benchwarmer to starter to superstar. It is similar to the previous game but not only in addition to true next generation in visual fidelity. NBA 2K14 is multiplayer and has game modes such as online play which allows you to play against random people around the world to test your skills. You can do a 2-on-2 match or even a 5-on-5 tournament the choice is yours. Overall I would rate the game a 4.5 out of 5 only because I'm a huge sports game fanatic. read more
