I had bought a controller a week ago . Already with stack drift , couldn't return it until I got back from vacation. I went to return it , waited about 30 minutes, was told I couldn't get my replacement because I had forgot i.d . Drove back to my house to get my I.d came back for them to tell me that I would only get partial pay for controller and would have to pay remainder for a pre owned controller. That makes no sense . This store is horrible. The past year this store has dropped the ball on everything from their store hours to not having my husbands pre-order of a game that came out today March 15. In the past, this game stop has never given us problems. But lately they have been dropping the ball. At this point, we will be taking our service to another game stop. read more

I never have any problems here. I come here often enough most the employees know me. They're always extremely helpful and have never asked me a single question when making a return. People give GameStop a hard time because they don't give you $50 for a $60 title when you trade it in but those people are obviously clueless. Long story short, I reserved a Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8 for my son for Christmas. A promotion they had online allowed me to do so and get a $25 gift card. I reserved this on Saturday, 12/22. I would have picked it up that day, but an error in my GameStop app drained $75 of trade in credit I planned to use toward the purchase. I called their customer service, only to be told I would see the credit inside of 24 hours. All good. I'll just pick this up on Monday (12/24) and use the $75 to pay for the console and the new $25 gift card toward Mario Kart. Come Monday I still hadnot received the $75 back, but I obviously had to grab the gift anyway because it's Christmas Eve. I get there only to be told that the giftcard promotion expired on Saturday (the day I reserved it). Didn't care I had an email confirming my hold or that I had not received anything stating that this promotion was through that day. Then, didn't have Mario Kart anyway. I've had several bad experiences with this store, and the only reason I was getting everything from them was because of the gift card. My son and I are both avid gamers. I will be spending my money at one of the hundred other places that sell games, and has a more customer centric focus. Also, as of 12/28 I still have not received my $75 back. Was told today over the phone that their service "is all setup by email" and that they had to "submit a form" to find out where my credit was. It's the exact same thing I was told on 12/22. I didn't have any problems at this place. Anything from controllers to gaming consoles you may need they have. However at some of these places they're only allotted so many consoles or games at one time before they can get another delivery to what was already sold. What one doesn't carry, 9 times out of 10 another will have what you need. read more

I will never ever step foot in a gamestop again. their employees treat customers like crap and lie. yes, that is lie. went into gamestop at mall of Georgia and asked about a particular game machine. clerk said yes we have one coming, come back tomorrow. went back, clerk yes we have some coming on the 29th. went back on the 29th, and the sore or team leader or manager James said no don't have any and none coming in. so who is lying? I called corporate customer service and they said we have 1000 of those, so go to a store and get one. corporate customer service also said we want to do you right, and they cannot refuse to sell you one. went back and got the same run around. this has happened at 5 stores including both in the mall of ga. and the one in front of best buy at the mall of ga., winder,ga. Collins hill rd., and the one beside wal mart at satellite blvd and Lawrenceville- Suwanee rd. I will not go to this business again for any reason and I will recommend that you stay away as well. read more
