I was looking for something very specific for my 96 year old father, who is in hospice care but can still read, and he helped me through my entire visit to the store. This is becoming one of my favorite places. Since I've been reading a lot more when I decide to purchase a book that I will read again instead of going to the library I come here. The staff is very helpful and I never feel as if I'm bothering anyone. I recently went in for a textbook and though they didn't have it in stock they were more than happy to order it for me. This is a very nice Barnes and Nobles and the employees at the Starbucks cafe are cool. During the rush hour it can be a bit difficult to find a place to sit, so come here at non-peak hours if you plan on sitting in the cafe for a few hours. I would not recommend coming to this location on the weekends, this place is jam packed and it is almost impossible to find a place to sit. The selection of magazines and books here are excellent and they have a great kid section as well. On certain times of the week they do story telling for children, which is a definitely added plus. Always a treat to shop here! . It's been at least 2yrs since I've been here and wow so much has changed! I specifically came in today for Michelle Obama's book "Becoming Michelle ". As I walked in it was the first book sitting on the table in the front entrance. Regularly priced $32 and if you're a member you get 30% off. Not bad considering Amazon has it $19.87 along with shipping $8 so you're better off getting it here with the discount with no shipping:). I've already started reading and so far so good. I also bought 2019 planner . Yelp the new year is approaching and I have to have a planner to keep me on track. They had several sizes, colors, etc. I chose lavender since it's closest to my birthstone:) . I've attached a picture.... They're priced from $10 to $20. This particular one is $15... Barnes & Nobles have the best reading corners:). Tables and chairs are tucked away in areas you wouldn't expect . I love the chairs up against the windows near the magazine racks. You also have Starbucks where you can take the chill off with coffee and a danish. The entire staff are friendly and eager to help. If what you're looking for is not there, they'll be more than happy to order it. It actually reminds me of an "upscale" library . I'm going back this weekend for Christmas cards - they're 30% off. Yay indeed. I am not a digital book kinda reader. Never have been and prolly will not until they run out of paper books. Something about the smell or feel of a real book and cracking the spine and fresh printed paper.. Anyway, this is your standard BnN but these stores are getting more and more special by the day. Its a great thing to have for a city. And Snellville is lucky to have this spot. They have a Starbucks attached to it and a café area for readers to chill. This place is luckily not swamped with students that hog the area like a library. They actually have folks just chilling, talking, sippin coffe with croissant in hand. They also have the media center is back and loads of DVDs. Lots of them were on sale. Some anime titles as well. Loads of friendly folks around to help you find something if you needed help. I happily spent an hour here walking amongst the bookselves with chilled coffee in hand. Picked up a few titles and even a toy for the nephew. Pro tip : Come before they decide to retire this facility. Buy a book, buy a magazine, support this business. read more

It's one of my favorite hangout spots. The staff is pretty friendly to include the Starbucks crew. The weekends get really busy as anyone could imagine. It's a nice sized store, I miss the four large, plush chairs (there's only two now for some reason). I hope this location stays open for awhile, especially with such high competition from online retailers. The only true negative is the bathroom. It's not horrible, just messy. Like paper towels are stacked on the side of the sink, so they get soaked and make it on the floor a lot. Just get the automated machine fixed guys but that's my petty complaint. Super upset with barnes and nobles. This years nycc funko pops came out and they let people do pick up orders at 3am before the store opened. The crowd of people staying outside for an hour never got told they were doing this. We should have been first and whatever was left could be filled for pick up after. They also deleted all the negative reviews of all the angry people from their website. read more

I went to the location looking for a Christmas gift and saw they were running a deal on fiction books on one certain table buy one get one 1/5 off. So I thought I'd go ahead and grab one for myself and one as a gift. I was in the store that day with my sister and thought I'd go ahead and get her whatever she wanted. So we went to the checkout and was helped by Marissa. Super nice. She rung me up and my total was $43-ish and i thought "no maybe I'll get the book for myself another day" so i told her to remove one of the books and the other employee (older lady) was trying to help but seemed to confuse marissa and so i again repeated which book i didn't want my total was $25 then. I checked out and proceeded to put my basket back while my sister was checking out. As i walked away the older lady completely misjudged me by continuing to talk about me rudely right in front of my sister (because she didn't know we were together) from what my sister told she said "people try to scam you like that to get free books" i walked back to join my sister and the older cashiers face went red because she didn't know i was with my sister and continued to say "obviously shes not going to do it but other people might" trying to save herself.... i usually love coming to this location but this lady clearly can't seem to compose herself in front of other customers...very rude. read more

I have been here several times and each time the line for the cashier moves like molasses despite employees wandering around the store. After having many disappointing experiences at several Barnes & Noble locations this store was a pleasant surprise. The store itself is clean and well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. They always close early. Second tome coming to us location where they close more than half an hour from what their original store hours are.

I always stop in, grab a coffee (and maybe croissant or pretzel), then I browse the puzzles and books before usually ending up in the kids area. Along the way, there are no complaints. This Barnes & Nobles is our ideal date night location! My husband an dI love just going there, grabbing a coffee from starbucks, and roaming around! We love to just walk around and see what kind of new books they have, what's on clearance, and different activities we can find for ourselves to do (crosswords, sudoku, etc). The staff here are so nice, and they really do try their best to help you. I couldn't find a GACE book that I was looking for so they helped me order one online because I didn't know how to do that from home. They have great clearance sales on stuff too! My husband and I really enjoy reading the same book at the same time than having discussions about the book before we go to bed, so to be able to find a book for 75% off the regular price really helps! Having the educator card helps as well! The educator card gives another 10% off a purchase for any individual that is an educator. read more
