This is a very nice Barnes and Nobles and the employees at the Starbucks cafe are cool. During the rush hour it can be a bit difficult to find a place to sit, so come here at non-peak hours if you plan on sitting in the cafe for a few hours. I would not recommend coming to this location on the weekends, this place is jam packed and it is almost impossible to find a place to sit. The selection of magazines and books here are excellent and they have a great kid section as well. On certain times of the week they do story telling for children, which is a definitely added plus. Always a treat to shop here! . It's been at least 2yrs since I've been here and wow so much has changed! I specifically came in today for Michelle Obama's book "Becoming Michelle ". As I walked in it was the first book sitting on the table in the front entrance. Regularly priced $32 and if you're a member you get 30% off. Not bad considering Amazon has it $19.87 along with shipping $8 so you're better off getting it here with the discount with no shipping:). I've already started reading and so far so good. I also bought 2019 planner . Yelp the new year is approaching and I have to have a planner to keep me on track. They had several sizes, colors, etc. I chose lavender since it's closest to my birthstone:) . I've attached a picture.... They're priced from $10 to $20. This particular one is $15... Barnes & Nobles have the best reading corners:). Tables and chairs are tucked away in areas you wouldn't expect . I love the chairs up against the windows near the magazine racks. You also have Starbucks where you can take the chill off with coffee and a danish. The entire staff are friendly and eager to help. If what you're looking for is not there, they'll be more than happy to order it. It actually reminds me of an "upscale" library . I'm going back this weekend for Christmas cards - they're 30% off. Oh don't forget to sign up for membership! It's worth it. Who doesn't love discounts!

What can I say, I LOVE books, the old fashion kind! I love turning pages, the feel of the paper, the weight of the book. The satisfaction of putting back on the shelf after I've read it. Barnes and Noble is the best of the best when it comes to bookstores. If you read a lot like I do, then go ahead and spend the $25 for the membership. It can pay for itself and it gives additional discount on everything. They have the biggest selection of books and magazines. And the bargain section is way bigger than any where else!

Story time and valentine crafts. The kids loved it.

They also sell beautifully made gifts for those who maybe looking for a birthday gift for someone they don't know very well. When I came in I was greeted by a very nice woman who said hello and bowed to me. The store itself is pretty decent size and extremely organized. Although I didn't make a purchase this time I wouldn't mind coming in again next time I'm in the area. 1334th review 4/27/2018 254th for 2018

They do take in used books, which my partner has been able to capitalize on for a rare manga he's trying to collect all the volumes for. They're section for social sciences though SUCK. I'd say Barnes and Noble and Bookshop.org still come out on top. It feels they barely have a section for history and science even. Plenty of space for Christians though... new age books and items are up front in this side obscure area near the cafe like they are trying to hide it. Plenty of toys and novelty items and games to look at. Funko pops (which I look at). It feels like FYE fused with what was left of a bookstore and just was like "we must do this to survive" energy. Never my first choice, but glad to have a choice... in the mall at least. Also they have vinyls and you can order books from them, but I'd suggest just going to Bookshop.org at that point

This is quite the hidden gem of a bookstore in Atlanta! This place feels very cozy and calming. There are countless books throughout the entire store sorted by genres. They even have a downstairs area filled with additional books as well as periodicals and magazines. The store almost transports you back in time, because there are sooooo many older and vintage copies of books. They even have some signed books for sale too! I saw a Dr. Seuss booked that was signed by the man himself...pretty cool if I do say so myself! The signed copies vary, but definitely take a look when you're there! It would make a super cool gift for someone. Another cool thing, is that they have 2 store cats! You will most likely find them by the front desk with the employees. One was napping when I came and the other was sitting right by the desk. The books all vary in price. It kinda just depends on what you get. I'll definitely be back in the future to take a further look!

The amount of books in this store was unbelievable, and the variety was great. They have some bookmarks and trinkets for sale as well. At the back of the store was two little boys reading books. This store is really worth the visit. I had the pleasure of talking to Stasey, the owner, she was super nice while answering my questions about what books I could sell or trade.
