The cashier, a gentleman with sandy red hair, gave the customer ahead of me excellent service. He was friendly, talkative, asked if the customer had a Rewards membership, took the time to explain the program, handed him his bag, and waited until he walked away before calling me to the register. When it was my turn, there was no greeting or conversation. I placed my book on the counter, and he simply rang it up and said my total. Only as I was paying did he quickly ask if I had a Rewards card, almost as an afterthought. Before he had even put my receipt in the bag, he was already calling the next customer over. I had a question, but he rushed through his response so quickly that it felt like he couldn't wait to move on. The difference in how I was treated compared to the customer before me was very noticeable. I left feeling like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I've always enjoyed shopping at this location, which is why this interaction was so disappointing. I hope management reminds staff that every customer deserves the same level of courtesy and attention.

I appreciate the attentiveness and interaction. It's much more natural than other stores that just ignore your entirely if you use self church out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. My only issue was when I went to use the soap I bought recently it smelled just like the plain Softsoap with no real fragrance. I was expecting at least some vanilla or cinnamon notes but nothing! I guess I paid $5 for the glass holder it came in, but not for any real scented soap. I wouldn't buy hand soap from them again, at least not whatever the store brand is, for this reason. Other than that I would definitely return for more holiday decor.

They are ran by a great staff team that has such an inviting atmosphere when you interact with them. Product selection is quite vast. They continue to stock up on the latest sets as well as consistently hold events. As any other shop, they are more busy during the weekend.

This is a relatively small department store with clothing, shoes, home decor and kitchen items. They have clothing and shoes for the entire family. As far as the clothing and shoes, you can find the same or better quality at Walmart for a much better price. If you wanted to take it up a notch, you would still do better at Ross. You certainly won't go here looking for name brand or high quality items. With stores like Walmart, Ross and Target, right around the corner, I'm interested to see if this store will succeed. Bealls Outlet doesn't appear to carry anything that is unique or different than what is currently available in the Cumming market. Only time will reveal if this store is able to succeed in this already saturated discount market.
