I have been trying to upgrade to a next gen xbox for a bit, but dont make crazy money. I decided to get the Series S since I dont have a 4k TV, and I only own digital anyway. When I called to see if they had any in stock, it always rang until the line went dead. When I FINALLY got a guy on the phone, all he did was criticize me for wanting an S instead of the 4k X model, and basically tried to shame me into buying it. Horrible attitude to customers, and blatant lack of work ethic from just the severe lack of encounters I have had with this place. Sometime this past summer sometime around June I had purchased the Pokemon go plus preorder. I know the release date was postponed many months but I had paid in full for my product. I then relocated to Florida where I work 6 months out of the year. I had received a phone call around mid September but was unable to return to pick up my purchase. When I returned to the store(006237) over the Christmas holidays to pick up my product I was informed that they did in fact have my product there for awhile but sold it to someone else. Mind you that I paid in full for this product and received no call to say hey do you want your money back or can I sell your product to someone else. So after a lengthy conversation as to where my product was the 2 salespersons told me if I wanted my product that I could drive to their Yorktown location approximately an hour away(not sure) and left it at that. It wasn't until we dove deeper into it and that I was not going to do that that we found out that that location didn't even have the product for them to send me so far away to go get. They told me that I could get my product in a week or so but by then I would be back in my place in Florida. Since they sold mine to another they said they would ship another to another location near me in Florida. There isn't a game stop near me in Florida and reluctantly I agreed. I received a phone call from the manager Wednesday while at work and called back Thursday after getting off from work to see if I could come pick it up. They had my unit there but when conversing with Rodger on the phone he neglected to inform me that they were closing in 10 mins and that maybe I should come in another day. I drove the 20 min trip out to the GameStop and was surprised to see the business closed. Rodger came to the door to inform me that they were closed. But he remembered talking to me on the phone and admittedly said he messed up. I told him since my game is paid in full and I've come all out of my way to come pick it up could I have it. He still wouldn't let me have my game even though he knew the whole story that I have just told you. I don't know if he was just doing his job or if a minor inconvenience to him wasn't worth helping a customer who has dealt with a lot from this company read more
