I know a lot of gamers love to bash Gamestop but I like them. The one in Townline Plaza is the best in Peoria, especially now that they've cut them back from 4 stores to 2. The one at Northwoods mall tends to have a lot more generic cases because people threw out their original cases and manuals. Townline's has more new cases and I tend to find more limited edition games here in better condition. I always get very good service here. One of the employees, who I knew from the Grand Prairie store, even let me try out some store-brand screen protectors for my handheld before buying them, because I'd had problems with the console maker's version. I do wish Gamestop would have more "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" specials like they used to, and I wish they carried more old games, but they're still pretty much the best selection in Peoria, especially since GameCrazy closed. read more

When I went in to see if another copy was available, the short worked with glasses and patchy scruff was rude and snarky. No one knows what they're doing, and bad customer service doesn't help the reputation. This location is absolute trash, and it sucks it's the only GameStop in this area.

I personally wanted the one that uses the disc instead of the all digital one so I asked if she had the "normal" Xbox one s that would use disc games. She gave me sass and said that there was no such thing as an "all digital" Xbox one. I tired to explain that there was a console that would only allow people to buy the games online and I did not want that but she didn't understand making me sound crazy. If she doesn't understand what she's supposed to do for her job then she shouldn't have it. What a rude experience.

It's mostly Funko Pops now along the walls. Kinda disappointing. Now that all the streaming platforms are upping prices, I figured more people with be looking to buy back their physical copies of movies again, but they are mostly selling memorabilia now.

If you are looking for something old, this is the best place in town to find it. That said, the prices are a bit on the high side. There's one other thing that really annoys me. They refuse to give you the box when you buy an older game. They claim that they are for "display" purposes only...even if they have like six of the same box on the shelf. That is annoying. If they would change this policy, I'd go there all the time. As it is, I only go there when I am looking for something that I don't want to mess around with eBay for.

I purchased two huge containers and planted, watered and mulched them. They did not make it through the winter. I took photos but the manager said they are not supposed to be planted in container. I think due to the economy the employees are instructed to deny all possible returns. Therefore if you buy from them do not expect them to honor the warranty.
