They have a pretty good selection of frames, with different shapes, sizes, and colors for everyone. I was able to get something I liked. The prices are very reasonable compared to other eyeglasses places. The customer service was okay but given it was the last day of the year I knew it was going to be busy prior to walking in. The doctor is very insensitive and I don't feel he has the skills to deal with children. Children need to feel comfortable, especially when it's their first visit. I even asked the doctor does he see normally see children, he replied yes, which shocked me. He kept telling my son and myself how kids always lie on the eye exams to avoid getting glasses. After the first couple of time saying this, it can make the current patient feel like you are calling them a liar. I was really hoping to like this doctor, because he is close to my home and I was able to get a next day appointment. Afterward, I called back to clarify that I could access my benefits through the portal. They advised me to arrive early so they could sort out the issue. I then contacted VSP, who reached out to the clinic to confirm my coverage. Upon arriving at the clinic while still on the phone with VSP, I informed the staff of the situation. Unfortunately, the receptionist dismissed my information and insisted that the call center does not verify benefits, then called VSP herself. It turned out the clinic had entered the wrong date of birth. All that was needed was a simple phone call to verify the information, especially given the error displayed in the portal when they were trying to verify my benefits. When asked if I had completed my paperwork, I explained that I never received it. The receptionist then offered a QR code to complete it, but I was so frustrated that I decided to leave and seek care elsewhere. I never got a chance to meet the providers, who might have been great, but the staff's unprofessional and disinterested attitude left a poor impression. Clearly, customer service is not a priority at this clinic, and I would not recommend it to anyone. If I could give a minus 5-star review, I absolutely would, solely based on this incident. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service left a lasting negative impression. It's frustrating when a simple verification issue spirals into such a bad experience, especially when it could have been easily resolved with a phone call.
