I am a Gap girl. I also like alliteration. My Gap wardrobe comes from their factory outlet stores. I refuse to hit a regular Gap store in a mall unless I have a discount code of some sort. My heart beats faster when I see a Gap factory store. It happened to me when I saw this one at Opry Mills. It's as if a strong magnetic force moves me into the store and it's futile for me to fight it. I will admit that I probably haven't done as much damage at this store as I could have, likely because I am content with my wardrobe. I really didn't need any linen shorts, no matter how pretty and tempting they were at this store. I also didn't need any tank tops because I had just bought two recently at Kohl's. I was wrong. You need to wear a tank top in Nashville. It is ridiculously hot that wearing a regular t-shirt feels like you are overdressed. I'm not a natural tank top person, but I got out of my comfort zone fast on day two of being in Nashville. Tank tops are my friends. I found the most comfortable tank top at this store. If I'm leaving my comfort zone, I might as well go all out. This one was in a camo pattern. I never had a camo top of any sort until now. This top has a slight flare, which is flattering and allows your stomach to expand as you stuff yourself silly with food while on vacation. I tried it on in a change room. I loved how it looked on me. Sold! When all was set and done, with discounts galore applied to this purchase, it was $5 after tax. Insane! The man at the payment area was so nice. I entered my phone number into the touchscreen display, which was how I ended up with my discounts. He was nice and polite. He placed my lone article of clothing in a small Gap bag. We wished each other a nice day and I happily left the store. I love a good deal. I wore this tank top several times on this trip. It launders well. It is my favourite Gap purchase in a while, right up there with my comfy joggers. (296) read more

We hit Opry Mills Mall in search of a few business casual fits for an upcoming work trip and ran into Gap Factory, which is easily one of our favorite factory outlet stores. This Gap location was as good as it gets. They were well stocked, organized, clean and had stellar service! This store was one of our last, so we actually purchased items here and took others back...lesson learned we should always start with Gap. Overall, solid Gap store! read more

I'm posting this here as well as google reviews -I'm not one to usually leave reviews or be a "Karen" and certainly never about a clothing store, but I had a very bad experience at Opry Mills Gap store last night. I went in with my husband to shop. I found a pair of jeans I liked and got in line to pay. I was confused for a moment on where to enter the line to pay and got in line through the exit. I made sure to look around and make sure no one else was waiting anywhere and I wasn't cutting the line. There were two registers that both had customers so I got in line behind one of those customers and waited there for several minutes. When the customer at the register was done, I started to walk up to pay and the cashier sharply told me I entered the line at the wrong place and to go to the back of the line. At that point a line had formed when there wasn't one there before when I first got in line. I told her when I got in line there was no one else waiting and I didn't cut. I said I'm next in line and I realized I did enter the wrong direction. She said- "no I'm gonna need you to go to the back of the line" and pointed the other direction. I wasn't gonna start all over again and wait several more minutes so I left the jeans on the counter and walked out the door. I just started shopping at Gap again here recently and was very disappointed in the way I was talked to and embarrassed. I never cut lines or are rude to anyone so I don't understand this at all. This was my go to place when I was a barista. I had to have the brown tone pants, but really didn't have any restrictions other than that, so I went in and got their comfort fits for a mere $15 dollars a pop. They were baggy and thin and perfect at all times of the year. I'd almost swear they had a buy one get one half off deal one day, but my mind fails me. There is a customer service tactic that I love about the Gap. In the fitting rooms you find you needs a different size, you just have to thrown the item over the door and they'll come and sweetly ask you what you need. Albeit the first time this happened to me at age 14, I about had a heart attack when I heard the male associate ask through the door if I needed a different size. Time hasn't changed the Gap, I still love shopping here, and thanks to the outlet I save a bunch of money as well. read more

I've always enjoyed clothes from the Gap. They aren't amazing or anything, but standard & priced well. The store is usually fairly clean and straight. My issue with this location & other stores owned by Gap Inc. is that the cashiers will ask for your email address & sign you up for an emailing list WITHOUT telling you that. I am a sale shopper and there are definitely some deals here. I hear buzz that most retailers don't send their overage clothes to their outlet stores anymore and merely make lines of clothes for the outlets. This Gap is good for casual dresses, t-shirts, that sort of thing. Their dress clothes are pretty cheap feeling to me and certainly don't hold up to wear and tear. I feel like where I spend most of my money at this store is in the kids section. I can honestly beat target prices on their sale racks and the kids clothes hold up pretty well. You can definitely get good prices on little onsies, socks, etc.. I have boys and girls and have good luck getting things for both. read more

The Gap Outlet is where I find well-made everyday pieces I can wear season after season. (Like my $15 brown cap-sleeved knit sweater!) I can always count on their sales people to help me dig around for what I need with their full attention. This is great, because it does get crowded and frustrating trying to maneuver around other ladies looking for just the right jean. Yesterday, after looking all over Opry Mills for a pair of boots du saison, I lifted off the floor of the Gap, from a ravaged pile of shoes, exactly what I wanted, in exactly my size. Black calf-high boots, for $20, marked down from $40. It's treasure finds like that, that keep me coming back. read more

The staff are dressed in a way that I could not tell if they were off the street customers or employees. The racks along the wall were jammed so tight with hangers it was troublesome to look for sizes or prices. However, there were some good prices. read more

The Gap outlet is exactly what you think it is. An ever rotating stock of Gap clothing at outlet store prices. This is prop ably the exact think that many people come to outlet stores for. I have seen some really great deals here, especially at the end of the season. But luckily, the stores are so darn ahead on their seasons these days that when you buy the clothes you don't even have to wait that long before they are back in season again. read more

I love the Gap Outlet WAY more than the Gap. Be prepared to go on a weeknight or during non-holiday times so you can be sure that you won't have to fist fight your way to the good sales areas in middle. You can get particularly good deals on hoodies and sweats and causal tees getting it all for $5-10 per piece. The kids areas aren't much to be impressed by, however there's always good new baby clothes so you can stock up for all your breeding friends. read more

The people who work here are nice. I don't usually shop here but I stopped by once and found a great jacket for a decent price and a Bruce lee shirt that I freaking adore. Now I stop by every once in a while to see if they have anymore t-shirts that are worthy of my closet. read more
