Went to Auto Zone located on Stetson Avenue in Hemet. There was a wrench picture on my car display…read morescreen, which just occured. When I went in there were many employees walking around. Finally a female employee came to the counter and asked to help me. I told her my problem and she said "no" we don't have a meter here, go to Auto Zone on Florida. She confirmed with another female employee that they didn't have a meter at this location. There is a sign on the window they have the tools, but they didn't have the tool I needed! I walked outside and called the District Manager to complain, but his recording "not able to accept calls", or something to that extent. I then called and left a voice message with the Regional Manager. This was a Friday -workday? The Regional Manager called me back immediately. I told him I was at the AZ on Florida and Amber was helpful. She calmed down a stressful situation for me, because I was afraid to drive the car further.

Nobody else wanted to look at my vehicle because nobody likes to touch electrical issues, and what I described over the phone sounded like a weird one. I'm not even sure who I spoke to, but right when they looked at the vehicle, even before writing up paperwork, he was like, "it's the battery." He went into the shop, got a tester and a charger. Tested the battery under load and, sure enough, bad battery. He jumped my vehicle so I could take it back to AZ where I had bought the battery just a month ago. They didn't charge me a dime to diagnose it. As he was walking away, I told him I'd write a good review. Super happy. Will come back next time I can't figure something out.

I would give this shop 0 stars if I could…read more I brought my car in because it had an intermittent stalling issue. The shop charged me for repairs and assured me the problem was fixed. Less than 2 miles after leaving their shop, the car broke down again with the exact same issue. In fact, I couldn't even make it two blocks away before I was stranded on the side of the road. When I took the car back, instead of standing behind their work, they charged me for another diagnostic fee. They then told me I needed to replace virtually every fuel system component and claimed that would solve the problem. After spending even more money, the vehicle still had the same issue. They also told me I needed new spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Later I discovered that some of the parts appeared to be used rather than new, despite being charged for replacement parts. To make matters worse, I found evidence that some of the work they billed me for was never actually completed. They originally told me installing a new gas tank would take about 4 hours. When the bill came, they claimed it took 12 hours. I was also charged a fee for removing a gas tank, even though the vehicle did not have the tank configuration they described. I specifically had them remove the side-mounted fuel sender because I did not like the noise it made. They convinced me to install a new tank with an in-tank sender and promised the noise would go away. After spending approximately $1,800, the exact same noise is still there. Another major issue was dealing with Josh. Trying to get answers from him required a tremendous amount of patience. His customer service skills were poor, and I constantly felt like my concerns were being dismissed instead of addressed. This shop also kept my car for weeks at a time with very little progress. What makes that even more frustrating is that after all that time, I picked up the car and couldn't even make it two blocks down the road before it stranded me again with the exact same problem I brought it in for. What professional repair shop returns a vehicle to a customer without properly road-testing it and verifying that the original complaint has actually been fixed? If they had done even a basic test drive, they would have immediately discovered the issue was still there. After spending thousands of dollars, being charged multiple diagnostic fees, waiting weeks for repairs, and still ending up with a car that wasn't fixed, I have completely lost confidence in this shop. Poor diagnostics, questionable billing practices, poor communication, and no accountability for their work.also i cant even pull into my driveway without gas pouring out of the gas tank talked to Josh about this all he can say is get a new gas cap I feel the gas tank should of came with a new gas cap for what I paid. I dont know if they hit a pot hole or something but now I have a cracked rim that cost me a extra because a careless shop. I will never do business with this shop again and would strongly recommend that others think twice before trusting them with their vehicles.

On Monday 5/4/26 after leaving for work, as i pulled out I noticed there was some oil under where the car was sitting. It was fresh. My only conclusion is they did not tighten the oil filter enough. Unfortunately due to my busy schedule I will not be able to take it back to them until this Friday 4/8/26 for them to correct their mistake. We have always brought our vehicles here for the oil changes. Although it always takes a long time, this has never happened before. No I have a oil stain on my once clean driveway. I think in the future I will pay a little extra and go somewhere else.

Absolute worst experience doing a battery warranty. Purchased a battery in 2022 with a 4 year free…read morereplacement warranty and now it took a crap. Go to warranty it and the associate is telling me the battery is a 3 year replacement warranty 1 year prorated warranty. Battery warranty info says nothing about proration only 4 year free replacement. Even the new batteries have the same warranty. I explained that to a supervisor and they say "yeah it's been 4 years." Since 2022??? They told me to come back tomorrow to speak to a supervisor. My car doesn't start right now? What good does tomorrow do? Autozone is slightly more expensive but has a way better warranty they abide by. Stay away from Walmart and their bs warranty.
