Nothing good to say about this one other than they have the AC on. Took me 30mins to get a oil filter cause everyone is just in their own world. I called before I came in to see if the part was in stock. They need help BADLY. Some walk around just like huh. They never pick up and when they do immediately placed on hold. I probably wouldn't be irritated by it if I personally haven't been actively looking for work and have applied to this store several times only to get told, that " they know they have a classified ad but aren't actively hiring" like really. If you have workers and the phone still ringing off the hook and people are in line waiting, While employees are Stocking. Why not see if you can help in other ways to help the line move, obviously yall need help or better managerial management. read more

No sense of urgency from the staff. There was around 4 people in line and only the "assistant manager" was at the counter helping out a man. There was a lady in the back my guess is doing inventory and a man on the floor walking slower than a damn turtle. While I was in line the assistant manager went out side to help the man install a battery leaving the counter and no one covering. Worst auto parts store in town. read more

I needed a sun screen for the windshield of my 2004 Dodge Caravan. I had gone to Auto Zone, but no one would help me other than point me to the aisle they were on. So, I walk into O'Reilly and one of the guys (can't remember his name but he was big guy and super nice) asked if he could help me. I told him that Auto Zone sucked and he agreed . I told him what I needed and go on the computer, found what would work and walked me to the aisle they were on and picked it out for me. I said, "I hope it fits," and he replied, " Let's go make sure!" We went out to my car and he got in and put the screen on and it was a perfect fit!!! We went back inside to pay and I said I needed an air freshener, so he showed me where they were and I decided on Febreeze. He showed me which one he uses and that's what I got. I went to the O'Reilly auto parts store in banning California on Ramsey. I walked in. I had a backpack on my shoulder. The manager asked me to remove the backpack and put it outside. She didn't think to ask me if I could leave it behind the counter because if I left my backpack outside, it would get stolen. The neighborhood is not the best neighborhood. I thought it was very rude for her to say this I'll never shop into another autoparts store by O'Reilly ever again in my life I'll go to Walmart or AutoZone or anywhere else besides there very bad experience read more

We recently bought new windshield wipers there, got them home only to discover they were used ones that weren't even the right size. Someone put their old ones in the package and returned them and we got "lucky" enough to buy them. Never buying there again. read more

As everyone knows Auto parts are expensive. Bought a new starter for over 200 hard earned dollars. Before I had a chance to put it in it was stolen from the back seat of my car, and returned to the store. The thief exchanged it for other items and cash. At first no one could help me since it was paid with a debit card. But the store manager Luis went out of his way nearly at closing to contact corporate and managed to get me a new starter to replace the one stolen. He didn't have to even care, but he did. Getting ripped off is so crushing but Luis made it bearable. Thank you Luis Hemet Store. read more

My car had a dead battery, so I came to O'reilly and John helped me out through the entire process and was even willing to switch out the battery for me, even when autozone said they wouldn't do it. I was in midst of getting my car fixed a local repair shop, and when they couldn't find the parts I needed, I ended up with a list of parts I had to go out and look for- I turned to O'Reilly's. I will say now that I am mentally incapable of understanding cars, and so I was very comforted when I went to O'Reilly's and Jonathan answered any of the questions I had in the vernacular of a person who had no understanding of cars. I had to get a master door switch and rear passenger door switch for my power windows, and an air compressor for my broken AC. The main thing was that I was not uncomfortable spending the amount of money I did not these parts because Jonathan, and other employees, were able to guide me through what needed to be bought, why it needed to be bought, and what the repair shop would likely be doing to my car. Other than service, they had cold drinks for sale, which is very useful under the hot Hemet sun. The whole store was chilly (a good thing), and also organized and clean. This auto parts shop is relatively new compared to the other stores found in Hemet, and therefore... I would HIGHLY recommend going here. read more

Just to show you how perceptions vary from person to person, I've gone to O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Hemet, several times for different items. The customer service was just fine. I consider O'Reilly's to be a kind of low profile auto parts store. They don't do a lot of advertising that I'm aware of, don't offer a lot of discounts. But I have always gotten good service. Today I went over to buy a wheel lock for my van. I was considering just removing the fuel pump fuse to prevent theft of the vehicle. That is a pain to deal with on a regular basis. I wasn't so sure I wanted to do that. Then I thought about a battery lock & knew that would be a nuisance. I talked to the assistant store manager & he gave me a great idea, showed me where to go to do it. Remove the starter relay. Yup. That worked. Really did. I'm glad I went over there. They're a pretty crew over there & I really appreciated their help. Saved me a ton of money for a nuisance tire lock. Thanks O'Reillys. read more

Worst service ever. Two employees behind the counter. one was helping a gentleman. The other was just talking to the guy at the counter and ignoring all the customers. Did not bother asking if anyone needed help. Someone had to force him to help them. Ignored me at the register. I will take my future business somewhere else. Good thing I have a job in town where I interact with a lot of people so I can make sure they do not do business with them also.
