For the man who works at 'The Fashion Box" who worked…read more yesterday May 12th at 6 P.M., I would like to express my unsatisfactory experience with the comments that were made by him while my companion was in the store looking for attire. Towards the end of our sale at your store he found a belt that would match the cream colored suit and shoes that my companion was purchasing and he measured a belt and then cut it to fit. I said, "oh wow, that's neat! Why is it that women's belts don't have that feature so you can adjust them?" and his comment was, "why are women so hard to please?" which to me, didn't seem like an appropriate response to a professional business question. Simply because the idiot I was with found it to be comical doesn't mean the person who addressed you took your comment in the same context. Throughout the visit to "The Fashion Box" I listened to you make several derogatory comments concerning women, including the comments made to the man who was in the store (who is getting married this weekend) concerning his fiance's choices of attire and shoes for the wedding party. While in the store I asked him if he had some problem with women and told him that I was offended by his comments. My suggestion to you would be to keep your unfavorable personal comments about women to yourself, not to mention that my companion only came to the store to spend around $70 on a 2 piece casual and left after spending $300 on a 3 piece suit with shoes, socks and a belt to match instead due to me (a woman). I will not patronize this store again and I will make certain that all of my associates are aware of their unprofessional comments during my encounter and if I am so inclined I may send a letter to the local newspaper about your store along with this same letter I am sending to him so that people are aware of the kind of business he is running. Apparently it is not just "The Fashion Box" but also a man standing on a soapbox with lots of personal issues concerning women, who by the way are probably in the end, the main reason a man might be in your store shopping for fashionable apparel. Signed, A Woman.

This Kohl's is well organized and well staffed. The store is always very clean and merchandised…read moreprofessionally. It seems that they have much more merchandise for the plus sizes than the regular size people. For the smaller sizes, there is often only one item available and it's usually not my size. The plus size department is so attractively displayed, that I often find myself in the wrong department. I certainly hope they will add to the petite section a wider range of items in a variety of sizes sooner than later. The housewares department has a great offering of bedding. The prices on their pillows and comforters are reasonable and the variety is good!

Today, I was trying on clothes and headed into an unlabelled dressing room when an associate began…read moreto yell to me that it was the men's dressing room and that I don't belong in there. First of all, don't yell. Second of all, you don't know how someone identifies. I am a woman and look like a woman. However, no need to accost someone. Again, this was not labelled anywhere. In addition, as someone with some mobility issues, the further dressing room is unnecessary. The doors go to the floor nearly. We can all conduct ourselves as adults. Kohl's, change your policy and have non-gendered dressing rooms and please educate your employees. I won't spend money in your stores again until you fix this. Also you sell Pride items. And still do this. No. A trans kid comes in and you could embarrass her/him? No. Do better.
