I love the customer service here and was very pleased with how well the sales person assisted me in trying on a variety of dresses for an event. They have wonderful options at different price points. However, with that being said, I found it quite disturbing that on their sales rack they were selling used and damaged dresses at a price point of $99 dollars. I just assumed these were gowns that were deeply discounted to make way for new gowns, but most of the gowns that I tried on was damaged significantly and some stained with makeup. I did end up buying two gowns that I deemed fixable that I will have to take to a seamstress to see if they can fix. I cannot speak to the entire sales area but beware because a lot of the gowns are damaged and sold as is. Not sure if this is common practice but it was very discouraging. read more

This place is very well organized and I like the fact that they screen their system to make sure no one at the school has the same dress for prom or homecoming. That's a sweet system to have so they can't sell duplicate. read more

My daughter selected a gown at Atiana's and they promised to fix a few things on the dress free of charge. They kept the dress for two weeks and upon bringing the dress home, we realized that they had not fixed anything and did not even touch the dress. I am now fixing the dress myself a few hours before prom. I had at the time of purchase asked for an additional discount so that I could fix the dress and they refused and insisted on fixing the dress. Unbelievable. Being a plus size girl shopping for a prom dress is an experience with a roller coaster of emotions. When I bought my junior prom dress last year at a separate store i had 2 options to try on and had to just buy a dress and work with it. So this year i decided to make the trip to atiana's and i couldn't be happier i did. Do not recommend the suits, the sizing was not correct at all. Our family ordered 2 suits and both were way too big when we first went to pick them up. We left them at the boutique to get fixed and they were still the same, way too big. It was not worth the money that we spent and we couldn't use them at all. When I contacted them again bc should a $400 dress be falling apart twice? I was told they did all they could do and would not participate in this conversation any further. Went in for a fitting for bridesmaids dresses in December. They took all of my measurements. The process seemed super easy. I had the dress mailed out to me in California (for an additional $30) and it fit horribly. Nothing was right. I would post a picture but I'm too embarrassed. When I received the dress it looked too big and the size posted on the tag seemed off but I figured boutique sizes may run small. I put it on and it was dragging along the floor, the bust was too big and the back was really loose. I feel like they ignored the measurements and just decided I was size x. Now I'm paying someone else $150 to alter it. read more

OH, and what is That return policy you might ask? That's right - there is none. As in no returns, no exchanges, no refunds, no exceptions. We ordered a dress and they said it would arrive no later than a couple of weeks from the day we ordered it and that was over a month ago - they're now telling us we won't see it until July and if for any reason there's something wrong with it, they will not help you under any circumstances. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. they do not deserve your business for the abhorrent way they treat their customers. read more

Went to Atiana's to purchase my daughter's Senior Prom dress. Found a dress on the first visit. To someone who has never shopped for dresses before, the store can be a bit overwhelming because they have any and everything you could possibly want as far as formal/party/bridal dresses go, including the latest dresses and styles, and can order what they don't have! Their on site seamstress is awesome and her modifications to my daughter's dress made what looked great to begin with look fantastic! Prices are reasonable and you get 10% off new dresses and 20% off prior years'. Staff are helpful and friendly although it can be difficult finding one to help if it's crazy busy (but that's any store during prom season). Would definitely recommend shopping during the week as weekends can get a bit hectic. Will definitely be back for special occasion shopping. Happy shopping! read more

Disappointing. My advice; Only shop here if you are used to shopping at outlet type stores or TJ Max where you don't need help finding anything. We decided to drive to Milford, based on their website. When we arrived, I was happy to see how big the place was and the amount of inventory we could select from. I was excited and hopeful. It appeared that they had a great selection but as I tried on several dresses and found a couple I liked, I was informed that they were discontinued and couldn't be ordered in my size or color choice. That information would have been helpful before I tried on my seventh dress!! I needed help with sizing, colors or even clips to hold a bigger dress in to see if it could be altered. I felt like I was bothering the staff. They were more interested in stocking dresses and doing other non-customer related stuff that I became extremely frustrated. With zippers broken, hooks without threads and the need for assistance (as I didn't want to ruin any of the dresses further) - I had asked several times if they had alternate dresses to a designer that I liked; while they replied "yes", they never came back with any of them. I finally picked a dress that I liked, (thank goodness it wasn't on sale) I wanted it in a different size and color which the website had stated was available. The sales associate said she didn't have any swatches or dresses on hand to show me what the alternate colors looked like. Not even a picture! AND if I ordered the dress and didn't like the color or it didn't fit right, oh well, SORRY, YOU CAN'T RETURN IT. Really? Ok I'm a trooper, I need a dress. So, I found another dress and the sales associated indicated that I could add sleeves to it. She went through the entire process of showing me how the sleeves would look.... But after 20 minutes, I was told that they had only one sleeve, the other one is was missing - but, hey you could go to Joannes down the street and try to match the material and their alterations department (at a charge) could make me another one. Okay doable. This was the last straw - they wouldn't let me borrow the sleeve (that they did have) to take it to Joann's to see if I could match it. I was told that I would have to buy the dress in order to do that, AND "oh and by the way, the dress it's not returnable". What was the whole point of their suggestion in the first place? I stopped by here without an appointment on a Friday morning. I was in awe of the HUGE selection and size of this store! I was greeted promptly and assigned Mo to help me try on some fancy dresses for a second wedding I have coming up in April. No was great. She was very helpful and knew where I could find what I was looking for right away. She had a great personality & was very patient with me. I would recommend this retailer to others. We purchased a prom dress a couple of weeks prior to COVID. As all schools in CT cancelled their prom this year, we were very upset to hear about the return policy. We hadn't even picked up our dress yet. The manager wouldn't budge. I worked in the customer service industry for 10 years; needless to say that this is terrible customer service. "I already paid the vendor" was his excuse. Actually, you paid the vendor with our money. This place has hundreds if not thousands of dresses! The first time I came to Atiana's it was very crowded (Do not go on Saturday's!). Try to buy your prom dress earlier than April since all prom dress boutiques will be chaotic. They have price ranges for whatever budget you're on. The second time I came to Atiana's, I was helped by not just one but three workers who tended to all my desires on my perfect dream dress. I absolutely loved this place, and they have a catalogue for you to even order a dress if they don't have your size. WE LIVE IN CONNECTICUT. Atianas in MILFORD, CT, did refund alteration money for alterations to my grandaughter's wedding gown that resulted in the loss of the train on the gown. Atianas still REFUSES TO REFUND $ for the GOWN THEY RUINED BY CUTTING OFF THE TRAIN WITHOUT HER PERMISSION. Her wedding was only 5 days away on February 15, 2022 from the time she found the gown was useless. She did go to David's Bridal in Orange where she did buy a gown and it was ready in time for her wedding. She has the receipt for the new gown from David's and pictures from her wedding to prove that she did NOT wear the Atianas gown- all of her wedding pictures are with the David's Bridal gown. As of now, she is left with the USELESS Atiana's gown which she will never wear- the Atiana's gown is unused, yet Atianas refuses to take the ruined gown back and refund her money. I am writing to warn all of you who buy and have alterations done at Atiana's. I purchased a beautiful gown for my son's wedding in April. Was so happy to finally find one I loved after going to many places. I am size 14 and they told me I needed an 18. You know why they do this, so they can make money on the alterations. I picked it up when they told me it was ready. When I brought it home I didn't feel right about the gown. I noticed that the photo I took at the time of purchase and when I picked up the gown was a totally different gown. The beautiful bodice was completely different. Rita the alteration lady totally ruined the appearance of the bodice, didn't seem to care when I spoke with her and never said she was sorry about ruining my gown. My son's wedding was in a few days and I didn't have time to do anything. They told me to email the owner Sumit if I had any issues. Well another girl had been answering all of my emails and making excuses after excuses not wanting to do anything about the gown. I insisted on talking to Sumit but she said he was out of the country which I did not believe. I paid over $450.00 for the gown and $200.00 for alterations and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!! What kind of business are they running. They wanted to give me $45.00 for the alterations of the bodice. What a joke and I wrote they should be embarrassed. I wish I could put a before and after photo of this gown on this page to show how they messed up this gown and how terrible it looked. Poor Service, Poor Management, Poor Alterations. To start, we came here on a Saturday. Selection is definitely here but service needs a lot of work. A little overwhelming for my daughter when we just walked in to see a million gowns hanging all over the store however there were 2 employees at the entrance and they pointed us in the direction of the black dresses and we were off. My daughter picked out about 9 dresses to try on. Prices were a bit high but again the selection was incredible and I have to say they were all beautiful. Some definitely worth the price. Now, on to the fitting room experience. Someone approached us when they saw I had several gowns over my arm and offered to hold them for us. Once we were ready we headed towards the fitting room. There were several young ladies who were working and we were quickly given a room to start trying gowns on as there really wasn't a long line although there were tons of people shopping. The last one in the corner was where we were. Great service, right? Wrong! Once we were in a fitting room (with 4 of our gowns and telling us that was the limit we could bring in at a time), not one of the young girls would assist. We were in the corner fitting room and I just don't think the girls noticed my daughter coming out constantly to show me her gowns. No one would offer assistance or suggestions or even just check to see if we needed anything. Seems they were really busy talking amongst themselves to be bothered. Although I did notice a few of the clerks really concentrating on a few dressing rooms, the other girls seemed to ignore the rest of the rooms. Okay so now we tried on our 4th gown and I was trying to get someone to bring us the remaining gowns. When I finally got someone's attention and she came over to us, I asked for another 4 to try on. This is when she said once you try on 4 you need to get dressed and wait back in line to try on another 4. Huh? After pleading with her a little she said she'd have to check with her supervisor to see if we can just have the last few dresses. She finally came back and low and behold, she had the rest of the gowns (5) with her. But we never saw her again. Sigh. To say the least, we left empty handed and my daughter was really disappointed. Not with the dress selection either, it was the lack of service. Go figure. Everyone I knew suggested this store for the selection and they were right. When it comes to finding the right dress for the perfect occasion I always go to Atiana's Boutique. My first time there was when they first open their current location and I can't say enough on what a great experience the whole thing was. They have endless selection of dresses every color and design you can think of and if they don't have it in your color they will order it for you. I couldn't believe the amount of fitting room they have in the back of the store. I've never seen a store with so many fitting rooms witch was great when I went to take my sister to get her prom dress too. The staff is sweet, friendly and helpful on the floor, fitting room and the front desk. They have plenty of parking available too. I can't say enough about this place and their staff. read more

This is the best place to shop for prom dresses and for any other occasion for that matter. They have a huge selection of dresses in all different colors and sizes. Racks and racks full of dresses separated by colors, sizes, long, short, two pieces, etc. You will not leave the store without finding something you love! The staff is extremely polite and professional and there are many fitting rooms and seamstresses ready to help. I bought my daughter's junior prom dress last year and she looked gorgeous! I came to Atiana's again this year for her senior prom dress on the day of the grand opening, and found yet another beautiful dress! I drove 2 hours here from New York to find NOTHING. I specifically called and asked if they had a large selection of kids dresses and was told yes. When I got there, there was one rack in the back with very few selections.. The dresses that said "in-stock " were NOT in-stock. None of the online dresses were available. There was one dress I was interested in for my daughter but the beading was falling off and loose. Not worth the money I was about to spend. I was told I can have them check and fix the beading but that would take a few weeks. But I was not interested. I will look elsewhere. Very misleading. The girls aren't much help, they are gathered around the register talking. I wasted my gas and my time. read more

This is a review for the "bridal" department of Atianas. In fairness, I have been there with my younger daughter to look for prom dresses and they do have a big selection if that is what you are going there for. However, our experience with their bridal section was awful. My daughter made an appointment and when we arrived we were brought upstairs to a dark room with a few rolling racks of dresses. It looked like a back room storage area. The girl said we could look on the racks for her size. She is a size 4/6 and there were only about 8 dresses to choose from. She said to look at any size. The selection was deplorable They looked like the kind of dress you might find at Walmart, if they had a bridal section. We drove 90 minutes to get there so my daughter decided to pick a few to try. The girl sent her into the fitting room and offered no assistance with trying the dresses on. When she came out of the fitting room, there were no clips to try and pull the dress into size. She didn't offer any advice, suggestion or alternatives. She never inquired into the budget my daughter had, styles of dresses she liked, or where the venue was. All questions any reputable salon would have their staff trained to know. I sat on a bench in the middle of this dark room. Nothing about this place made the bride or her family feel special or welcoming. We realized we would never find a dress here and left after about 5 minutes. If you are going to bill yourself as a "bridal salon" than you need to be prepared to act like a bridal salon. 1) Brightly lit room with comfortable seating for people who are coming with you. 2) Staff that will help the bride in and out of the dress. 3) Staff that can clip the dress to size. 4) Staff that can pull dresses and and show choices. 5) an actual inventory of bridal dresses - what they had looked like a closeout sale of a place that went out of business. Worst experience ever!!! Do not buy your dress from here!!! My friend had us get our bridesmaids dresses from here, thinking it was a nice local boutique. We paid $160 for dresses and after being sized by them and being told what size dress to get (the dresses we tried on weren't even the same style dress) all of our 7 dresses came in and no one's fit correctly. They won't return our dresses that we paid for, for a smaller size and failed to inform us that all sales are final!! I had the best experience here! I was on a mission to find a gown for my sons wedding today! I arrived when the boutique opened at 11:00 which was awesome because it was pretty empty. Without hesitation Briana helped me pick out at least a dozen dresses, walked me to the dressing room and help zipper me in and out of each gown. When she was not available because she was getting me more gowns to try on there was another girl available and willing to help. I thought I found the one I wanted but wanted to be positive so I decided to take a break and grab some lunch and asked Briana if she can find a few more for me to try when I come back. I also stopped at another bridal shop and was turned off by the lack of attention. When I finally returned to Atianas the place was packed with girls looking for prom dresses! The first experience I was sold called had alterations in a timely fashion pickup once home we needed to return and have some additional things done. I came here with my sister for her prom a few years ago. This year is my senior prom and I had a great experience. A young lady came over to help me within a couple of minutes. She picked out dresses for me that she thought I'd like and started a fitting room for me. She stayed with my almost the entire time even when I chose the dress and was getting it altered. My dress was older so I got 20% off which made me happy but alterations were $135 and that really upset me. I paid half of my dress's price in alterations. The only complaint I have is the price it cost to alter the dress. I hope it turns out good. read more
